Too Many Bones: Undertow / Game Play Basics

A quick overview of how to play Too Many Bones Undertow. This video is not to be an in depth how-to-video or a full playthrough. Just something short to get a novice up to speed or give you a brief preview of how the game plays.

I just ordered undertow to get it sooner and backed unbreakable. I'm surprised I had never considered TMB as it seems right up my alley. Figured if I absolutely love undertow, I'll update the pledge manager to include more gearlocs/content.

thanks to your videos I just got too many bones in Saturday. Played it all day and loved it. Just ordered Undertow, Ghillie, Nugget, Lab rats and premium chips. Should be in by my vacation. Going to eventually go all in on this one. Just wondering on your thoughts. The other Chip Theory games are on my maybe list. I was drawn toward Too Many Bones mainly for the theme. I do want some other themed games in my collection for the rare occassion I want to go for a different theme. Should I bite the bullet of these other 2 games?

I wasn't drawn in by Hoplomauchus or Cloudspire at first, but after watching plenty of gameplay footage of both and having played/experienced Too Many Bones, they instantly hit my Wish List. I ended up backing the most recent Cloudspire Kickstarter and went all in in order to catch up. I have considered purchasing used copies of Hoplomauchus when I see them posted, but I know that Chip Theory is planning on releasing a Hoplomauchus 2.0 in 2021, so I will patiently wait for that campaign. For me, I enjoy Chip Theories "system" which is prevalent in all their games, so I feel confident that I will like most of their games.

@@TheMeepleMarathon I noticed a game coming up called Dawnshade. It looks awesome but I am extremly on the fence on this one. The creatures look like larger Gerlocks and has chips. I feel like giving my money too Chip Theory Games instead. Your thoughts. ( Excuse any spelling errors please)

@@julielane3073 I did see this game when it came to Kickstarter. One Stop Co-op Shop has a good playthrough of the Kickstarter prototype if you want to get a better look at the game. For me, there were too many similarities with Cloudspire/Too Many Bones that I felt like I didn't need the game. I think the company is definitely trying to replicate what Chip Theory Games is doing.
