@@customtech383 I understand. I think I can guess and get close with the two videos. I would probably make a few changes like move the solar socket to the back and remove a ht charger and replace it with a mppt charge controller. Also add some APPs to the panel with the power supply and a Digi Rig for digital comms. Again, well planned and executed. I have taken notes on the mods to the truck as well.
Then I can’t believe it’s all this time I’ve been looking for people like you that knows how to build stuff like this this is so awesome I love the radio too I love you power supply for solar panels love that now like this I can’t wait to see what else you got that is awesome I love it I did build me a ammo box 12 V I see you got one I’ll see if you got one you built showed how you build it I gotta watch out too Man you must be a very smart intelligent man that’s awesome I mean it makes me want to build this stuff for sure cause I want to have a CB radio to go anywhere I tried it on a backpack I don’t like it the battery was little bit difficulty this is awesome and I’ll be watching your channel now
Thanks for sharing your informative videos with everyone! I'm beginning to build out my truck for camping, overlanding and survival. Let's hope it doesn't ever come to that. I'd love to learn more about the systems you've built into your truck. Any chance you'll be making more videos or willing to message/connect outside of YT?
How have you found the reliability of those TYT dual band radios? I have heard it said from the 'Shack-in-a-Box' people that you if you have to count on your GO box, best use radio and components with very high reliability. Their VHF/UHF GO box is based around and Icom ID-5100.
I have 2 and they run cool and have had no issues. They also give me receive and transmit in 450-480 mhz which I use most of the time that many other more reliable radios don't.
Oh yeah I love it too I love this one too I have CDs too I wanna have a go box for my CB I have 2 m radios just like what you got I don’t have my license I got all programs I like listen to him because there’s no way I will get my license not smart enough but I like listen to radio and I am a CB lover I love CB radios I have a galaxy 95TI go by shep and on side band shepfc1
great info and video. would like to know if you are open to talk anout cooperation by email? like some mini solar system set up(it would match well with your battery box)

what a grteat idea. well done. regards from the UK.
Genius ! Loving how modular this is ! Great video(s) and 10 on creativity/skills. I am very jealous lol
Clean and weather resistant. Never could figure out WHY purchase a weather tight container and punch it Full of holes. Defeats the purpose!

did he say 100amp power supply?????? LOL That's crazy overkill for that. most power supplies are 25 amp for a mobile radio.
Sorry, 100 watt
