I was so excited when I 1st learned about this Barbie last year n had been eagarly awaiting for her availability. I bought her as soon as I could n have been in love with her ever since. She is practically the perfect tribute to what Barbie has been, esp in the 80s n 90s, wit all the pink fluff n stuff n Mattel has successfully brought all those ruffles into the 2020's. She's exactly what I was looking for in a modern collector's Barbie doll as she honors her past pink life. I was immediately reminded of the Holiday Barbie and Party Sensation Barbie, both 1990 editions at 1st glance. I will say, however, that I wasn't a fan of her plastic bow shoes (I have never been into monochromatic outfits n accessories, anyways, as I find them boring n washed out), n I wish she had rooted eyelashes. I dont mind the rubberband in her hair so much as it does give off a modern sensibility of laid back fun. I do feel she needed more accessories but I get a great joy of hunting down the perfect pieces for my dolls. I added a crystal choker necklace, crystal cuff bracelets, a rhinestoned clutch purse, extra pink tutu's to put underneath her skirt along wit pink shiny hot shorts as I felt she seemed a little too flashy down there. I also added lace up sandal pumps wit crystal heels and crystal bows over the toes. My favourite pieces I added above all, though, r the black lace, fingerless gloves I made for her as suggested by Robert Best's sketch n they do give her a sense of completion wit a cool, grounded edge. I do believe that Mattel could've released an African American version of this launch Barbie but I'm sure more variety will be added as we continue to look forward to what else this new Pink Collection Era will bring. Hi, nice review of the doll. I agree with you, I personally prefer the model muse body, as I don’t play with Barbie dolls especially this kind of dolls are not better for display .. and model muse body is a nice pose for Barbie. I can’t wait to buy her. 🥰😍
I knew many other colecciónists didn't like this barbie, because they said it seemed very cheap Personally if I like, only mw hubwira liked plus another face mold and that the elastic hair was covered with more hair. Thank you for such a beautiful video, love the dress and the box.
I enjoyed seeing your little dog. As for the doll, I like her better than Gala’s Best, but the style of the dress and the Millie face don’t quite do it for me. I am looking forward to more in the line, though. Hopefully a range of faces and dress styles.

@@LifeinPlasticDolls I think many SILKSTONE collector wanted the old SILKSTONE not the new reinvented SILKSTONE model muse body they hate the Millie face they said very playline I wonder why they did not used the steffie or superstar face mold I think those 2 more appealing
@@MrKookiblue I agree with you that the Steffie or Superstar face would have gotten a better reception. A lot of people dislike the Millie face for some reason.
Her outfit reminds me of Secret Garden Eugenia Perrin Frost from the the integrity toys fashion royalty doll.... I love everything except the face and the execution of the bodice

Love the blog, Ive noticed there are moments that you appear to be scripted, out of curiosity have you been asked to slow your speech to accentuate? I enjoy it when you're relaxed and enjoying the doll in your video, please don't feel you can't be yourself, it would make your videos more personable rather than commercial :) I enjoy Puppy's spotlight, Puppy wants more stardom :) hugs
