Oh Claire she’s beautiful! I love how you just get stuck in. Some collectors would be horrified at the idea of opening the box never mind taking off the clothes and undoing the hair! 😂😂😂

Such a beautiful doll. It is amazing how very much she looks like your mini me - or are you her maxi she - don't know. She is gorgeous - congratulations. The gown does remind me of flower petals - a bit like peonies. Thanks for the lovely review.

Thank you so much Lindsey. I’m sorry to you and the others that like my stitch diaries, but the first Poppy Bag has been a bit of a slow burner. Declan has his GCSEs, and I’ve been to doing extra drop offs a pick ups, so it eats into my craft time. I agree, my Barbie looks way more comfortable in the little blue dress, however she is back in original dress for now, for the final bit of filming, However I’m going to re dress her again. xx

Ha ha Rowan, as soon as I couldn’t say another word, I thought of you. Did I say it right? I’m going to look it up today, and have a practice. If I spent as much of my free time learning how to talk as I did crafting, I’d be awesome at it! Well that might be an exaggeration too far! lol Yes I think some collectors might have nightmares, watching my videos. lol

Hi just sharing 'silkstone" is a registered trademark material Mattel create to mimic porcelain. Its like a heavy solid plastic. For the past 10 years silkstone have been using for the Barbie Fashion Model Collection (with vintage barbie face mold) so people often associate the collection as silkstone. The collector would just call it silkstone dolls. However the silkstone material can be use for any doll.. this 'pink collection' was the first attemp to use silkstone on modern barbie face if im not mistaken....

Your pink doll is just beautiful Claire 😍 I agree I wouldn’t wear a pouffy dress like that but it sure suits Barbie 😁. I recently found a thrifted 80’s “Dream Glow Barbie” with a pink bodice and huge pouffy skirt with stars. I had that Barbie when I was a kid so I was thrilled to find it. In almost mint condition too 🤩. Oh P.S, I love that you unbox your dolls and have at it. Taking down/dunking the hair, changing clothes and all 😁 Dolls are meant to be played with after all:) Or, at least they should be 😅
Oh wow Rikki, I’ve just googled your Barbie, she is gorgeous, congratulations on your find. I agree that Barbie can definitely pull off that dress, she can wear anything and look good. Lol. I’m so glad I un boxed her, I will enjoy playing, lol. She still stands in it nicely in the box too, I’ve tried it. I only dipped her hair once, and now that it is dry, it still feels stiff and crunchy. X

I have her too and was debating about altering her dress to reveal the sweetheart neckline, I don't really like the ruffles either so wanted to completely remove that part of the dress by snipping it off 😹

Your new barbie is beautiful you must spend ages researching all the facts about them did you enjoy them when you were a child ? I like to buy the yoga barbie for my granddaughter but I’m not feeling too good at the moment I’ve just had a double mastectomy without reconstruction so am resting reading and watching you tube bloggers like yourself stay safe and take care

Yes there were one of my favourite things to play with, I still have them, they are i. the loft but I can’t find them. I think the Yoga Barbies are one of the best things to happen to Barbie. I think your Granddaughter will love them.
