    I'm glad I watched this before I took mine out of the box. I debox mine on Tuesday when I'm off from work! Right now she is sitting in my room, still in her shipper box. I'd almost rather have the original black wire stand than those flimsy plastic stands, also. Thank you for showing us yours!!

    I expected the heavier saddle stand for a Silkstone doll.

    I’m still waiting for mine to arrive. She looks great, the hair looks like the more stiff fiber used for vintage dolls. Really gorgeous.
    HOWEVER, I’m mad about the snaps. They are not even metal ones. Just cheap plastic snaps in the back, and it’s not even neat looking.
    I’ll be redressing her for sure, because this shoddy repro of the ultra glamorous 1963 Lame Sheath Pak dress is just not cutting it for me.

    Hello! How are you? Great review! Very informative. I like how you pay attention to every detail. And I love the close-ups! Do you think that the first snap on the back of the dress was poorly made. You've said it that it doesn't work, doesn't snap on, so they had to stitch it. The back of the dress looks a mess to me. What do you think ? I've seen the same thing on a couple of other videos. Does it detract from the overall quality of the doll ? Thank you very much! I've loved your review of the "Dia de Muertos" Barbie Doll #2, with the white gown. Great! That is a stunning doll!

      Thank you for watching, as for the snaps they work well it's just unfortunate that they didn't get the opportunity to use a zipper. She overall beautiful I haven't had any big issues with the doll.

      @@evan8219 I have a Silkstone Barbie,I think 2002, and the body is more like porcelain and the arms and legs are more articulated.

    • @evan8219
      @evan8219  10 месяцев назад +1

      @juliehoffman6292 Most of the silkstones' bodies from the early 2000s have a Model like pose where there are only about 4 points. Articulation all silkstones made have a porcelain feel to them the one in the video has a body that to be like the OG body shape.. to the vintage Barbie, but across the board, all silkstones have the same feel.

      Just have fun with her, try not to drop them cause they can break easily, and dont unbox all silkstones keep them in a safe place to display

    I see something apart in the neck base or Is just the body mold???

    • @evan8219
      @evan8219  2 года назад +1

      Just the body. Remember I have the camera zoomed in so it picks up everything. That eyes normally don't see when looking it.

    the term brownette needs to re-enter popular culture for people with light brown hair.
