Great video! I'm new to doll collecting so I hadn't heard of a lot of these. If money was no object I'd get the 2018 Agent Scully and Mulder X Files dolls, both Iris Apfel dolls, and everything from the Haunted Beauty collection. It sucks when you're contemplating a purchase then pass it up, only to find that the doll is now completely unavailable and unaffordable. And oh so wonderful (and rare) when one you've been eyeing for months/years randomly appears for a reasonable price. Good luck with your ebay decision-making!

There are many wonderful reference books 📚 I recommend Sarah Sink Eames for vintage fashions. You gave me an idea for a future video! I’ll do some research and cobble together a list of Barbie reference books. ☺️💗

Barbie Basics is a great line, as evidenced by the high price on the secondary market. I’m sad I wasn’t collecting when these dolls came out. I would like to see the new Silkstone Barbies made with a variety of faces and colourings like the Barbie Basics. I so want to see Lea, Mbili, Lara, Goddess, etc. in Silkstone! I will be outraged 😡 if they make them all Millie.

😆 Don’t feel like a traitor! It’s okay to venture out to other doll lines. I’m tempted to get Rainbow High, but I’m trying to be good. 😌 I’m not into Na Na Na, thank goodness. I could show the complete Barbie Basics collections, but they are mostly in storage. I keep most of them nude in case I want to dress them up for a photo shoot. It would take work to assemble them and put them back in their original fashions. 🤷🏻♂️
@@LifeinPlasticDolls I was wondering how you felt about RH. I just ordered Avery (who comes with 2 wigs and several outfits) and Krystal (the indigo one). I’ll see how I like them, since I generally like the more realistic proportions of Barbie and Integrity. I know I will not be tempted to get them all, so I don’t mind getting a few, and they have so far been good value. For example, I could get 2 Rainbow High cheer dolls for just the cost of shipping to Canada of one of the new open-stock Integrity dolls.

I have The Mermaid 🧜🏻♀️ Barbie by Linda Kyaw from 2012. It’s very beautiful and a fabulous interpretation of a mermaid. The beadwork on Enchanted Mermaid, however, is incredible. I love that it’s a white gown, which is kind of unusual for a mermaid. Her hair is also longer, which I like. She seems like a very high quality doll, overall. 😊💕

Love ur collection I only collect superstar face moulds from 1980 to 1997 but there are a few exceptions I'd really love the met gala moschino barbies and the blondes barbie they are my current dream barbies
