- First event with the new budget K20/24 engine, EHPS and rear aero I built in my garage. We took .7 sec off my PB and are only .29sec away from the track overall NA FWD record. Laps where a bit of a mess, my lack of seat time in the last 24 months is showing.
Sick driving and I can't even hear the MBEps...wow!
Loved the video. How were your brakes? Did you end up with any fade? Can we get and update on the car and how it's looking after a good track day? Anymore parts you're eyeballing after running it this session? And did ya ever find out who the red eg was? Lol. Great video, love seeing the progress of the car, track sessions, and videography. The learning process is my favorite part about most RUclips videos. Keep it up, looking forward to the next one
Brakes are still good, I will be going from G-loc R16’s to R18’s pads this winter and probably a Motul RBF 660 from the 600 I’m currently on. I did not get fade but after a 20min session I think I was close. The corvette brake ducting is working really well. I’m going to come up with some way to connect the corvette duct to the spindle this winter hopefully. Just try and maximize what I have. Not really looking to change much this winter since I think I have a lot of time to make up as it sits. I would rather maximize the potential of it as is before changing much else. I would like to spend some time getting things finished that I started. My OMP fire suppression needs to go in, flock the dash, clean up more wiring. Before any of that happens I need to paint the interior of the car. It’s a big job so I have been putting it off.

Thanks Troy! I’m glad you have enjoyed them. For a 2011 Si you already get most the mods I have done to mine. All you would need to do is find a k24a2 bottom end and swap over all your k20z3 head and components, bigger injectors then have it tuned with a Hondata FlashPro or something. Good luck on your swap!
Advise anybody with this car to get serious ear protection. I endurance and sprint raced an EG/k20 for 2 years. Wore foam inner ear, baclava , helmet and no doubt ended up with permanent loss.
Yep, I wear custom made ear plugs and am looking at also getting a Stilo helmet with the over ear hearing protection. Mine is not anywhere near as loud as some I have heard.
@@FFAttack I miss my car. I have spec Miata now and it’s less problematic but there is nothing like seeing peoples jaw hit the floor when a little hatch is pushing through the European cars.

@@FFAttack Pls can you tell me offset, dimension? I can't find 16x7 ET +30 for Civic EK HB (best fit for EK, my opinion)
This car has 17x10 et18 on the front and 17x8 et40 on the rear with a 10mm spacer.
