Lovely as always to see Joey D make an appearance.
I’m off out that fruit bat this weekend
still loving latches and locks commentary
Mate, glad you did a Dartmoor one!!! I’m doing the WHW in June for charity. To put it into context, a few years ago I had a stroke and have really struggle to get fit and turn my life around from eating shit to being relatively clean living. It would be great to get you along for part of the journey!!!!!!
Light work for Uncle HaZor! I feel the same way about churches as well. Nice video! 👍👍
I love the cheer with every stamp.great trip, thanks for taking us along.
I walked the Pilgrims Way from Winchester to Canterbury last year straight off the back of the Coast to Coast. My feet were made from Compeed.
You've got me hiking again mate. Really loving it. I usually just walk to my camping spot but taking the long path is much better. BTW the gang feels that Fern adds so many smiles to your videos. God smiled down on you and heard your thoughts. Bless you both. 💕
Haze, walking from town to town in the countryside, good weather or off weather, is a good way to spend time. And having friends and family to share it, is a great time. Thank you
OMG! You were hiking where I live! You even filmed my car parked up! North Dartmoor is an amazing place to live, hike, explore. I swim in the West Okement every day! So exciting watching this trip!
Wonderful stuff! It’s a really lovely place and gives me hope for the south
@@HazeOutdoors Come on the South! ;)
@@HazeOutdoorsmanage your expectations 😂😂
Another blissful experience shared. Seeing you ,and Fern look at each other, makes us all remember what real love is , it’s tender and real 🙏❤️.
Mr Haze. I am gobsmacked. I've been watching you for years and love it. I live in Okehampton and work in a mental health support cafe. Always wanted to invite and meet you. Now you've passed through. Missed my chance. Crack on youth.xxxxx
Joey D appearance + a "medic" = mint vid mate 👌
With you on the church thing, mate. Think I’d be struck down if I stepped inside 😂 Lovely video. Cheers, chuck 😊
Shame you didn't get to go inside the Highwayman Inn, that was an Aladin's cave of mad things to look at in every corner and cove. Great to see you in my stomping ground. I've been running and walking Dartmoor for a few years and never even heard of Archangels way, I'll have to look it up now.
What wonderful child like feelings a simple stamp can bring. I felt this after adopting a ‘Letterbox Geocache’ after it had sadly been left to ruins. It’s now back up and out there for kids like you, me and the next man to stamp away. Happy days. 1/12
Most churchy video to date.? ⛪
Nice to see a little latch and lock education en route.
Looked like a nice group hike. Good for the soul and the noggin. Hope Joey D gets some royalties after the cameo.
Keep up the good work.
Not seen one of these videos for probably a year and I popped back in to see Hazey living his best life out on pilgrimage. Excellent stuff, felt a bit nostalgic. I definitely recommend won’t leave it year again!
My old stomping ground. I moved away a couple of years ago and I really miss it. There are green men and triptych hares on the roof bosses in some of those churches.
Was on Dartmoor last month, camping in snow & wind with my dog, loved it :)
It’s watching your videos and a few other content creators that’s getting me closer and closer to being able to get out there myself. Love Fern’s laughter, your humour and the banter between yourselves and Joey D whenever that happens. Locks and latches. MEDIC! 🤭 It’s all good. Doesn’t have to be the same every time. Not real life it was like that. You are true bringers of light ✨🫶🏻✨
Ayup there he is! Great video ❤
Not many churches left in this country any more and the ones that do remain are empty 😢
Great vlog pal👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers mate
Good stuff, Hazy. Dartmoor’s got some great bits to walk and camp. Always love your video production.
That was different. I didn't mind it. Thank you for creating it as always. By the way, if Frn enjoyed collecting the stamps, Dartmoor is littered with stamps. Its called letterboxing and was the OG before geocaching came along. I remember as a kid ripping the piss out of my mum for doing it as a hobby but I'm now the age she was back then and I enjoy a hike and a camp so... maybe I should apologise. But yeah maybe look up letterboxing on Dartmoor
Always love to see your videos! You inspired me after walking the Cape Wrath Trail. I'm going to start the Cape Wrath Trail (up to Strahcarron) next Monday. I hope you're doing well mate! Greets Ray
Lovely to hear it mate and best of luck
He inspired me also and I managed to do the cwt this time last year. Good luck mate , hope the weather is in your favour! It's absolutely amazing!
@@Tonydcz I can't wait to finally walk it. Seems like a life experience to me
@@loopdoel Yeah I also walked CWT last year due to Hazey. You'll love it.
Good luck! I'm planning to do it this time next year 💪🏻👍🏻
Absolutely brilliant Paul, stunning hike , great company, nothing wrong with this video mate, appreciate your efforts 👍🏼👍🏼
This was wonderful
What a vid! Love a good history hike! I'd be in my element too with the stamps 😊. Did notice you only clocked 29 miles...? 😉 Did I miss something ?! Keep doing what you're doing!
Big up hazey! I always watch your videos. I'm from Devon and I remember surfing at Sidmouth the weekend of storm Kathleen, I drove to the beach while listening to the song riders on the storm by doors, was a good day. Hope all is well with you ✌️
Good video, looks like a great walk.
Next challenge? What about Offas Dyke? I have done numerous long distance walks.. I was expecting Offas Dyke to be a walk in the park. Mmmmm… off the train first night timed very very wrong and wild camped in the Forest of Dean… scary and wild bore running around all night. I slept under a mobile phone tower for a little light and some sort of security. Lots of up and down, continuously!
Hadrian’s walk is also good..
Thanks for the videos, Hazey
Funny enough I was thinking about you today (not in that way), I had to go do a job in Whitby, as I was dropping down into Sleights I thought Hazy hasn't had a vid out for a while, then I get home and catch up on some You Tube and you've dropped a new one. Top Bloke.
The holes in the walls of old buildings can be where the timbers once were, but were often where they used to put wooden beams to act as scaffold during the construction of the buildings. They then removed the beams and filled the holes with mortar, but the mortar tends not to survive the centuries as well as the rest of the brickwork, so you end up with these holes.
The more you know 😬☺️
I have my dinner now in front of me ready to eat. The video can commence!
lol, you got the red phone box situation absolutely spot on 🤭
You need to do the”two moors way”root coast to coast 117 miles across exmoor and dartmoor,it’s a lovely walk.
I’ve had my eye on that but I’m on way to Scotland for some proper outdoorsy gubbins
Great video as always hazey lad!
Yessss lad ❤
Thanks for the video dude, a bit of Yorkshire charm in the south to brighten the day! Luv ya! 😉👍
Thanks very much for the video Hazy. Much love to everyone from Wisconsin.
Thx Haze for the upload, im a bit wagly dagly the last week. Too much rain, hard head, busy but not too much fun etc. life 's not bad but it ain't that great. Watching a video now and then keeps my mind busy.
Thought this day would never come 🙌🏻full belly, camp chair set up outside and a joint to enjoy my escapism in watching this cracking chap❤️
Peace and love mate
Hello, I am always happy to see an upload from you good sir. :)
Brilliant
Wow you just popped up. I was going to watch antiques road trip. No more. Chagford. My stomping ground too. X
nice to see you on Dartmoor..
A dip! ❤😂
😊😊 Great episode
Thank you for the fun and knowledge of such a wonderful trip.
Top work once again 👏
Hazey lad, where's t'dog? Nice to see Fern again with her infectious smile.
Great video Hazey,Fern and co. Love these multi day hike vids.More of the same please, much love ❤️ from Wigan 👍
Thanks ya legend, keep em coming
Good to see Joey D in this video 😂
ok so on the castles and the holes in the wall, some are for floor structures to span across but also some are from the construction itself. When the holes are on the same level for construction you can tell it was an english stonemason and builder/designer, however if you look at some of the castles in North Wales you will see similiar square holes on the wales going up and around the towers, these are French design that used to build on an upward ramp around the structure. Yawn bore over lol. Great vlog and looked typical Dartmoor weather to be fair! Edit - few mins further along would recommend those gas canister stands, makes it alot safe for boiling anything, even the cheap plastic ones, zero weight, huge improvement thou especially when breezy/uneven.
Nice to see you on the road again.
So pleased to see you and the gang, was slumming it on old videos and saw you post this new one, thank you !! 😊😊😊
Class that mate.
Joey D looking over you towards the end 👌🏻
Happy days
Definitely some good countryside walks over Dartmoor, enjoyed the watch,
Excellent
Nice! greetings!
Bamburgh Lighthouse has the same face as Fern's hat 🙂
Great video. Shame the Highwayman's Inn, in Sourton, wasn't open. It's a very surreal pub run by a lovely couple. It's got a shrunken head behind the bar, and lots of nooks and crannies to get lost in. Had our Honeymoon there many years ago.
I love your all videos!
Thank you Hazey…just thank you.
You’re welcome mush
Mushyyyy 🍄🟫🤩
Love it!
This is great, naughty plant foraging next .
Beautiful, the churches wernt bad either! Oi ooooiiiii!
Quality pal
Really enjoyed watching looks amazing
Another great video looks like an interesting walk
Good one, I enjoyed that little walkie.
Pretty sure that was Joey C. Thanks for that Hazy. Loved it. 🙂👍
Your camping is very attractive!🏕️
I was impressed.✨
I have not camped on the day of the heavy rain.☔️
I think that it is very difficult.😮
You are so tough, and smart.✨
Your video became the splendid hint.🔥
It will update my camping.☺️
Thank you for your wonderful activity.🇯🇵
I feel you are in training for El Camino as I suggested a few videos ago. You are so ready for that.
Lovely mate
Good trek that hazy can’t believe you went in for a swim lol I’d a died hahaha a can of beer in that statue and it defo would have been joey d’s double good to see you out and about enjoying life buddy take care and have a great day ❤️👍👌⛺️⛺️🍺🍺🙏
Nice video Haze.

I would love to do that hike. The architecture of those old churches is amazing. I am religious and would really enjoy seeing them. Our "old" church in the states is from the late 1800s. That is a baby in the UK.
Good to see you down this way! Dartmoor has some amazing places to explore. Off hiking the Two Moors Way next month.
Enjoy the TMW. I did it last year and really enjoyed it. The last bit into Lynmouth is mental!
That "Vicar" was definitely telling fibs. He saw an opportunity and took it...
'are you the Vicar?..'
‘..um… yep’
Defo a fib that’s got him some action more than once.
Cheers mate. Good content again. Holy Geocaching👍. What's happened to the Northern Monk. You and Joey D got me hooked on it. 🤦♂️
Hay Zee! When you doing your van conversation vlogs again. 😊
Coming soon mate, I’ve been saving up to get the materials but should be back at it in a week or so
Easy guvnor of rainy missions... with bottles of vino jingalinging around the rucsacs - nice!😍 *the walking over puddle tactic was very resourceful tho I did kinda wanna know about the kit delivery issues 😂👌🏻♥
loved the video
Wish my lady looked at me the way yours looks at you 😊☺️
What a lovely midweek drop. Top work chief. Gan canny
A great appearance there by Joey D. I think future pilgrimages might require kayaks though 😂
@11:21 Wooooooow, GOD signed Ur stamp, though he did lie to U and said he was a Vicar!
‘Carsal, if ya this lot!’ 😁
Another great one mate 👍
Thanks mate
just perfect...
Great video, wine is on the way, as is the ale for an extra tenner.
Great video made even better with a JD and a medic.
Been to spoons 🤣
I didn't know those OMM chestpacks were waterproof. Gonna invest! Looks a superb walk that, even in the pouring rain. Cheers!
THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF! I use a zip lock plastic bag inside it to keep stuff dry and a sponge in the bottom to soak up the water
@@HazeOutdoors ah, ,thanks for the warning! 🙂
24:29 Medic!
I'm guessing the Highwayman pub was shut brother shame it's one of the oddest pubs in Dartmoor, the lady who runs it has decorated it half as a old ships galley and half as a witchcraft sanctuary you'll have to check it out next time mate.
hahaha also the okhampton spoons I'm guessing a place of fun and mystery
Go on cobber - all the way from Vietnam !
its good hazie you done it all in like 3 days when if it was our lot it would take me a week or two lol respect hazie
