He mentioned a person's disappearance without charge at the end of the Chapter 10, but he was kind of happy for eventually having a new manager to sigh documents for his project. When he wrote the Chapter, his ex-wife has already been experiencing the same: disappeared without charge which is about the CCP's RSDL, Residential Surveillance at a Designated Location, black jail, but it doesn't matter to him except speaking of his ex-wife. Also, if the CCP didn't get fact to charge his ex-wife, his book provided many evidence for this purpose. He looks sincere in the video but I don't know if he has some other purpose or not, to be honest.
The government can charge her anything without even knowing any facts, which I would assume there is nothing they do not know when they have that kind of control over anything and anyone.
