I've been playing this game for years now. By far one of my favorite games out there and I'm glad you've found it! Not sure if you like tips or if you have already discovered this stuff (I haven't finished the video yet), but here's what I've got: 1. Don't upgrade walls at night! It takes down the wall temporarily and lets the greedlings through! 2. Many upgrades will require you to explore other islands. It's best to speed through the first island's boat and get to the second island ASAP. 3. Destroying trees next to the merchant or vagrant camps removes the buildings. Vagrant camps can be rebuilt but hiring from rebuilt camps is expensive. 4. Give extra gold to the banker (the guy with the fancy hat)! The bank will keep excess gold safe and apply interest over time. 5. Upgraded farms will let farmers stay overnight. Excellent for farms far from your keep, but will get the farmer's tools and gold stolen by greed if the farm is outside of your walls.
Great tips, I may add: always keep some open area right outside your walls, it will allow bunnies to spawn, they’re a great source of income with enough archers
@@omgkennyisliving Those tips pretty much cover the basics. For more info about upgrades and locations (the diamond stuff) there's a good comprehensive wiki online. One thing you have to consider is time. The waves keep getting stronger even if you are on a different island, so if you spend too much time away it could get overwhelming as soon as you come back. You get a "buffer" of a few weaker waves when you get to a new island but it ramps up pretty quickly.
To be fair I'm pretty sure that exact methodology would have worked back in medieval times. If some fancy lad on a horse ran up on some dirty peasants and tossed a gold coin at them, they'd just do what they were told..... And then a few days later when they start to realize the guy never gets off the horse, doesn't sleep, doesn't eat, etc... they'd be just the right amount of terrified and amazed that they'd be just fine working the rest of their lives at whatever menial task he gave them :P
Coin Production Tips for Beginners 1. Small animals 🐰🐔🐢(They're different for each Kingdom and Matt is playing the western medieval): - Gives 1 gold coin each - The spawn for small animals will appear on the grass if there's enough space - The grass area will grow on its own if there's no obstacle like walls / trees / wood bridge, expand your walls carefully - Small animals won't spawn during winter 2. Deer 🦌: - Gives 3 gold coins each, harder to hunt (More hp, lower spawn rate and they run around) - Spawns in the forest area - You could lead them to your archers by scaring them via moving towards them ( Stay at a certain distance as they might go the opposite way instead ) - There are a few cleared area with grass beyond the forest area so try to strategically expand your walls if you want the deer to spawn within your walls - They still spawn during winter 3. Trader 🙋♂️🐴: - The man with a donkey gives a bunch of gold coins and I believe the coins he drop will decrease as the more you trade with him/more days passed - Only appear for the first few islands - Leave a single tree on both side of the Trading hut so it doesn't disappear if you want to expand your walls. This can only be applied to Vagrant camp for cheaper and faster recruits, don't panic if lost Vagrant camp as you can build a Citizen house - You can't pay him a single coin only at Night - Fun fact: He will keep moving away from your Keep if there's purchasable point like knight shield on his standby point 4. Treasurer/Banker 👨🎓🏦 - The man with the red hat will be walking around near your Keep and hide in it during Night - Drop coins on him or near him as he will move towards them instead to bring them to the Keep for safekeeping, as time goes by, the coins will increase with interest - Walk past him or towards him to retrieve some of the coins in the Keep, run past him if you don't want him to vomit coins when your coin pouch is full 5. Farmer 👨🌾 - Cost 4 coins at the Scythe shop that appears after you build the 3rd wall, make sure you have enough space for it to appear - Build farming area on the small water source, the farmer will go back to the Keep during Night - Upgrade it to Farmer's hut so they can stay around it but make sure it is within your walls - Farmer can't work on his farm during Winter but you can pay him to collect berries from berry bushes that appear near your outermost walls 6. Special Job (Different for each Kingdom): - The shop appears near your outermost wall - Default Kingdom = Pikeman that stabs Greeds from behind the wall during Night and spear-fishing during his free time, 1 coin each even during Winter - Shogun Kingdom = Ninja that ambushes the Greeds from behind with shuriken during Night and fishing during his free time, same production 7. Deforestation 🌲🌲🪓 - Cost 1 coin and the builder return 1-2 coins back - Chop the trees at your own risk, you may be screwed during Winter or slowed your progress significantly 8. Mount 🐴 (The ride for the monarch): - I only know Unicorn poops coins after eating grass, each of them is different such as overall speed, speed on certain area, stamina and special ability - The King of Deer has the ability to passively charm nearby deers to follow you - Don't worry about losing your previous mounts because you can upgrade a Farmer's hut to a Stable (Requires a certain hermit on your horseback) for the horses to hang around. Farmland and everything related won't disappear after upgrade
If anyone is wondering, there is a wiki for the mounts and tips to unlock certain things that you won't figure on your own ( no clue and near-zero random chance you'll trigger it )
If RCE’s actions [upgrading a wall whilst there’s still Greed nearby, letting them pass through] at 4:03 are a reflection of the rest of his run, I can see this ending spectacularly.
you need to keep upgrading your town hall to get into different stages, icluding the stone age which is why you keep seeing the symbol. Also a nice way to keep your coins from overflowing ;)

Kingdom Two Crowns is a great game and the second in the Kingdom series. I wonder if Matt would try Kingdom Eighties. I have Kingdom on my PS4, Laptop and Android.
I have been playing this game for 3 years now... Pro tip: You can requite 6 peasant every day, every cycle 2 peasant spawn at the camps, and there are 3 camps in each island/level. Pro tip: If the camp does NOT have the 2 peasants spawned, you should leave a coin on the camp, cause they can take the coins and become requites automatically when they take them even if you are not near them. Edit: You should not destroy the nearest two trees to the camps! Camps have faster peasant spawn rate per day (the house have 1 spawn rate per day). Plus, Peasants in camps are cheaper to requite.

Day 6 of waiting for Matt to upload Mindustry Part 3. Only build 2 or 3 walls side to start focus more on beefing up defence and money making instead of constantly expanding out with weak walls cause your just gonna get your camp killed, don't expand to far from the camp walls because your builders have to run all the way out then all the way back which will get them killed by zombies while on the run, cutting down trees creates grass fields which creat rabbit spawns but if you build a wall close to them it destroys the spawns
the more you cut trees, you will see a lot less rabbits and deer ! and if a camp (where you recruit new guys) are not surrounded by trees, the camp will disappear
pls read through the wiki to the following things:, no big spoilers bro that stores your coins way later, bro that stores your gems not too far later at day 90 read to crown stealer. read these: eremits, coin pouch, IMPOTANT: boat bell will get 2 things you can buy at the center piece later+ 0-8 archers as soon as you have them, 4 archers at the thing s at the top, 2 builders, and the ten cons lets you launch, with or without units
This reminds me of a game I played awhile back dont remember what it’s called it’s basically the same game but the progression is slower and the game is way harder and there also are more ressources like gold stone wood etc. And it also looks quite a bit worse but it has the same 2D pixel style but you can actually choose where you place buildings. Anyone know what game I’m talking about?
I have a weird relationship with this game because the day after I first played it I got really, really, sick and I was in like a fever delerium coma kinda thing and I kept imagining this game as part real.
It was kindof a rough time, but I still like the game in general. It just makes me, I guess kinda sad sometimes.
this game looks really cool, I like it
"I'm short on people!"
"I've too much gold!"
*Doesn't spend money on getting more people.*
Just told us a story that began with a head injury, and at the end you tell us koda has a head injury.
The prophocy begins.
Ehhh kingdom, I’ve played this game for years ever since the first one (kingdom classic now) glad to see a RUclips do it once again.
Wearing the RCE ✌🏻 shirt as I watch this, coincidentally.
Someday maybe he'll figure out how to 'Rally' defenders to the outer wall....maybe he should check the keybinds...Hmmmmmmm
Matt don’t upload mindustry for a long time as the people in the comments are bots
? The first original one wasn’t, and I’m sure there are people who would like to actually see mindustry
Kinda unsure if the devs know what a horse looks like.
Hey, I remember that game! The ending was unsatisfying tho
I've been playing this game for the last 6 days.
