Thanks James, there are very few. Mainly just press out variations like this one. I feel this one in my chest all the time when I perform it: m.ruclips.net/video/EQlWKLK7k5A/видео.html
These workouts seem to be heavy on the deltoids and traps. Midback too but not too much lats. And I guess you can get your quads and hip flexors involved too. But I see this type of workout often being identified as a total body workout. Am I right? (BTW: Would using a sledge hammer accomplish the same thing?)
Yes, it's total body if you want to view it that way. I personally don't follow that way of thinking because the human body is not built like Frankenstein. But maces, are very lat dominate if that's your asking. Then sledgehammers are nothing like maces. I made a video here explaining the differences: ruclips.net/video/4FyGC8chXPY/видео.html

Great teaching, sir.
You are a great coach. Thank you for your great information
Really like the practice exercise with the band. Allows the client to focus on the cues and still build tension throughout the movement.
Thanks Tyler
Brilliant. I was wondering about these differences.
Awesome. Thanks.
Great video. Can Steel Maces be used to work out the chest? Most of the exercises I've seen workout the back, shoulders or legs but not really chest.
