You're right, there are a ton of demos out there showcasing this pedal, but none are as good as yours. I really enjoy watching, and listening to your reviews. Always thorough! The way a pedal should be demoed. Thanks!
Nice.. been trying different pedals for a solo boost for my Dirty Shirley. will pick one up. I could tell you were having FUN with it and it felt good to play..
Welcome to my band Papa! :D Due to your videos, I have depleted my house hold income significantly but you know what, it was wort it bro! Utmost respect! Keep'em coming!
I think the best thing about this video is the fact that you've removed that pesky volume knob that's so close to your picking hand. Well done! makes the strat playable again.
It's good to watch a" just the pedal" video. I like backing tracks, but it can kinda take away from what the pedal really does. Great review. Keep on jammin' !!
Hey Brett I know you probably couldn't get him on but could you try to do some Charlie Starr content? His use of chord tones, bluegrass influences, mixolydian, major/minor riffs, and phrasing in general seems like it would be perfect for your channel.
Oh I've been working on Charlie! Every time I hang out with them I make sure to drop the hint. He's thinking about it. It will happen one day! He is such a great player and an awesome guy as well.
VERY GOOD demo ! Thanks 😊 for sweeping the gain knob. The fact that you had a blast with this pedal came across extremely well. This video sealed the deal for me 🤗
I waited almost two years for a KOT and when my name came up I was like meh and didn't buy it because I'd fallen in love with the Snouse Blackbox.. I may buy one of these, this sounds pretty good.
I wanna know too lol. My guess would be the Hot Wired or the Plextortion. I think the Triple Wreck was amazing when it came out. It still holds up to any other mesa in a box pedals. But I can see how someone would hate it.
Wampler has slammed the internet with this pedal, they compare it to the Marshall Blues Breaker and some compare it to the Analogman King Of Tone. Brad Paisley loves Wampler, last time I saw Sonny Landerth he had a Wampler Tape Delay. Any thoughts on the comparisons of the King Of Tone ? Great demo Papa.
Thanks! My buddy has one I could see if I could snag it from him. To be honest I have only gotten good results with the KOT with a Fender type amp. Wampler makes great stuff. Well worth checking out. His compressor is really popular as well.
Sonny changes pedals frequently, before the Wampler tape delay he was using a Strymon, before that, I can’t remember but I know he used to use a TC Electronics 2290. I had to order KOT twice, I am still on the fence about it. Brad Paisley sets Wampler pedals on fire, he smokes them after about 20 to 30 minutes of country shredding licks. LOL !!!
The Paisley Drive is my main overdrive. It’s fun. I tried many of Wampler’s pedals and soon after released them to the universe because they just didn’t sing to me right but the Paisley sings. I ordered a Pantheon last night based on Brian Wampler’s demo, this one and Tom Quayle’s demo. It’s got resonances that sound so much like my tube amps on 10, so I think it’ll work well for those times I can’t turn it up as loud as I want.
Łûnå Owo Brett has said when going over his own rig, that he doesn't use OD pedals, just a Lift pedal( by Divided By 13) or Xotic RC Booster! I have a late 70's Marshall and I'm debating keeping or dumping Java Boost and just get a boost cuz Papa has KILLER tone! Cheers!
Wampler stuff very cool and I loved Brian, Travis and Max's podcasts/YT videos! Had too many pedals and purged Paisley Drive( wasn't getting used enough) buyer tried out on his 67 Super Reverb and 90's 52 Tele Reissue😳INSTANT REGRET😢Almost cancelled deal but he was a friend of mine so I kept my word but through Fender circuit=GLORIOUS!!! Camel Toe my main drive on Deluxe Reverb but Paisley Drive will make a return!!!!!

Wow, thanks! Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
one of the best pedals for solo ever! I have the pinacle and I have enjoy it as well. Thx for the review!
Nice demo - way to walk through your personal tonal preferences. Always more realistic and helpful in picking equipment!
Thanks for tuning in!
Another great demo of this pedal. Really nice crunchy tones with sustain. Sounds like a winner. I need to check this out myself.
You should! It is awesome!
This looks interesting, Brett. I will watch it later. Love your channel.
Thanks!
Great demo and explanations of how you use it. You’re speaking my language on this video. Just bought one.
Awesome! You will love it! Great pedal!

Great pedal!!!!
Sounds fantastic
I agree! It is an awesome pedal!
I'm now becoming a subscriber because you demoed this pedal with a broken up Marshall style amp, which is how I roll as well! Great demo.
Haha! Thanks for the sub!
I'll take one, and the Fried Man amp, and that Strat, and your fingers, thanks. But seriously, very nice pedal, great demo. Thanks Brett.
Haha, thanks for watching!

Dammit! You’ve already cost me a Friedman amp. Now I have to have this!
Great demos! Love the Friedman Dirty Shirley I purchased based on your demo.
Haha! Sorry man! I can’t help it I like the good stuff!
It's good to watch a" just the pedal" video. I like backing tracks, but it can kinda take away from what the pedal really does. Great review. Keep on jammin' !!

Awesome! You will love it! Thanks for checking out the vid!
I really love to play like that - let everything on and control the guitar sound by the volume, tones, pick and hands.
Yep, its an easy way to do it. Old school haha!
This pedal is sooooo good
It really is!
What is your room mic and camera ? Your recordings sound and look amazing . Cheers, Stu.
Thanks! MD 409.
It’s Gonna Be Huge 👍👍🎶🎶🎸Gotta Purchase.
Yes you do!!

There is a lot of great pedals out there these days! This one is great!
At 4:10 when you start noodling, that is my dream tone.
Get the pedal and you are most of the way there haha!
I wanna guess the wampler pedal you didn’t like was the triple wreck? Did I get it? Haha, why do I need to know so bad 😔
I wanna know too lol. My guess would be the Hot Wired or the Plextortion. I think the Triple Wreck was amazing when it came out. It still holds up to any other mesa in a box pedals. But I can see how someone would hate it.
I also find myself wanting to know which he didn't like...tell us!
Nope haha!
Never tried the Hot Wired and I love the Plextortion!
papastache102 we’ll find out one way or another papa! Hahaha 😂
Wamplaer ruless : Euphoria fo Dumble cleans n this Pantheon fo dynamic bluesjazzwhatnot!!

wonderful sound...how come other videos make it sound fuzzy and nasty..!??
Not sure. Glad you liked it though! Thanks for watching!
Sick licks - a couple times I made that damn face.
Thanks!
@@BrettPapa You got it PS102
You have a $3000 Friedman, wtf would you need a overdrive?
Haha, always good to have options!
Because he was paid to demo the pedal brah
@@Jay-sy5yf I wasnt referring specifically to Papa, it was a generalization
