that's on purpose to show the difference of the back track and their live spit but at the same time it makes sense with the verse "I’m the one they fearin’ keep it on the low". She literally kept it on the low by letting the back track do the spit.
If people actually watched their live performances and first takes, you can literally hear that they sound exactly the same lol

this performance is from inkigayo. It's like a festival in the arena where Kpop groups perform their songs. The fact that most people in the venue are non fans. I can tell they were flabbergasted 😂

💯 They made it a big deal they were on that concert show. All of XG's Inkigayo performances are flawless but I just wish they would stop muting the audience because so many fans show up and cheer for them. I still request reactors do a review of 2ne1's "I am the best" which they did on this stage a year back . People went nuts for their version.

They’re currently on tour. They just finished Japan and yes it’s sold out. They sold out Philippines as well. This is a music festival where many other artists performed. They had time to do this and continue their world tour. These ladies are hardworking
Last year, they performed in many other music festivals as well from Dubai, Singapore, Australia to China with huge crowds. I can’t wait for them to come to NYC.

Some of the fan cams from the Japanese concerts are incredible. They did a rock remix of Shooting Star. A Spanish styled remix of Left Right 🔥
A few reactors are reviewing these versions and blown away how different it is compared to these concert tv broadcasts. It just feels so raw hearing the audience going crazy.

The K-WAVE CONCERT is not an exclusive concert for XG, but an event featuring other K-POP artists as well. XG has started their world tour in Osaka and Yokohama, and many videos from these performances have been uploaded on RUclips.
Yeesssss!! So glad you saw them live. They are a force. I am excited how they are picking up steam with the hip-hop community. I keep trying to let people know, you can’t fake the swag. Real gets real and XG embodies hip hop and R&b . They grew up listening to it and Simon and his team just refined what they already had. Other groups are taught to perform and they are good but they don’t have the sauce.

Their first world tour is on going but this here is like a festival music show with 17-18 kpop groups invited. XG was just one of the group invited to perform. The title says K-wave concert , if it was their concert it would be under their name. A lot of kpop artist you have reacted to before is also in this concert.; ateez, stray kids , new jeans , aespa etcc is also at the same stage

I think people like xg more than blackpink because XG actually rap raps, they hip hop dance, their vocals are amazing, and they rap and sing in English.They reach more people.They’re not really a pop group, but multi genre
They been averaging 5.4K RUclips subscribers since Woke Up that's the biggest jump in subs since Shooting Star when they was getting 3.3K a day
I feel like Woke Up is just a small taste of what XG can do. None of their songs are the same because Hip-Hop and R&B is such a wide genre of different styles. BlackPink is all pop, they're consistent with their sound and so good what they do but XG just hits different while including pop in their catalog.
@@ROXELL what keeps me going back to XG videos are their dances. Winter Without You is the only song that doesn't have any choreography and still they sound too good to give them just a listen to. The backup dancers in this performance are SFW which I only know from Show you Can since XG didn't do a choreography for that song. I really want them to do a choreography for Undefeated but not sure if they're going to be around for the Valorant tournament since they're too busy being on tour.

This particular performance is actually for a music show that’s doing a special in an arena that has multiple groups perform for fans, so this isn’t their own concert. If you want to see footage from their current first world tour look up XG the First Howl world tour
So, it does sound like they are performing with a vocal back-up track BUT its volume is turned low so that you can hear their live rapping / vocals shine through. Maya demonstrated that when she intentionally put down the mic briefly to let the backing track play before coming back to her live rapping so that the audience can hear the difference. Often with kpop, the vocal backing track is too loud that you can’t hear their live voices, and I think that’s intentional because its incredibly difficult to get stable singing when you’re going hard on dance moves. Here, XG used backup dancers to do a lot of choreography so that the members can focus on voice stability - and I appreciate that.
this is not part of the official first howl. its a regular music show in korea. they sold out their osaka and yokohama japan legs. taiwan, philippines, singapore etc... presale tickets soldout online in minutes.

UglyAce don't forget that the 2 that you rock with are both 18. 4 mo apart so their growth is gonna be deadly. They didn't train just so a backing track can take over the song, them vocals are deadly live or on a track.

For their style, it’s like Visual Kei. It was popular in Japan back in the day. Still slayin’ tho. ❤
They are awesome live, shame they muted the audience in this recording because the audience are going nuts and adlibbing with the group. Their dance practices are on a different level because they treat it as a study to how they gonna look like on stage almost as if they're performing for themselves instead of for an audience. Even though they've performed small venues with other groups, 2024 is their first World tour appropriately call The First Howl. This recording isn't part of their tour though, but a tv broadcast performance on a live variety show. I think it's similar to SNL. My favorite performances so far from their tour is Left Right acoustic guitar remix and the rock version of Shooting Star. It really shows their versatility as artists and not just your average rappers. But their fan favorite is the performance of Hesonoo & X-Gene which is a ny drill mixed with expressionist dance.

My first intro to XG was a short on YT of their Winter Without You First Take. IT MESMERIZED ME. THEIR SOUND, THEIR LOOK. That was a month and a half ago. Since then, I've watched everything numerous times. I love and respect this group more than any other. Especially after watching their Xtra Xtra and saw how hard they worked before their March 2022 debut.
Haters just don’t understand they sound the same in recordings and live. I know that their It’s Live and The F1rst Take performances blew their heads off. They just can’t admit it.

this live was SO GOOOOD 😤 they are letting the haters know. I think they have been getting haters during their promotions on certain shows like they intentionally stay silent so it seems like they don't have fans. Agree to disagree. I’ve seen them at HITC NY and that was their first live performance. No lip-sync. I do agree in some performances they have a backtrack. But they still live on top of it.
@MarkCalica no, it's not an "agree to disagree" issue. I've seen earlier performances where they were totally lipsynching. Many of us noticed and commented the same thing after they progressed. It's common for new groups until they get their breath and rhythm. They have performances where they didn't even bother with a show performance track to hide it.
