Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

I'm kinda surprised that they forgot to use the shields when driving the semi... Didn't they specifically call that out?
And without it, the trucks didn't seem that overpowered even
They did call that out. Surprising they didn't use them. Seems like they forgot about them till the last free-for-all round which is a bit confusing because all the other OP challenges have had shields so I don't know why they would think this one didn't till they got to the end. Anyway it maybe an excuse to do this challenge again but with shields.
@@N0V-A42 actually judging by the way they were talking I'd say they did a run with the shields on but it took too long so they made a rule where they didn't use the shield

Video ideas - Overpowered Spaceship vs starfighters.
Overpowered Planes against each other - Everyone try to build the best overpowered plane (It MUST be plane, no blimp, no helicopter, no spaceship in atmosphere, no anything that's able to fly) and maybe set some minimum velocity your overpowered planes must be able to exceed, but no limits at powercores, weapons, used parts etc. AND SHIELDS! You seem to forgot about them, so I say this.
Supersonic dogfight - build a plane able to exceed speed of sound and fight with them xD It's not necessary to fly supersonic whole fightt of course
Overpowered space station versus starfighters maybe?
Scrap please bring back evolution (and Kan and Kosmo back to trailmakers)

@@Alixx-andur I think scrapman mentioned how it wasnt good for their channel when they do multiplayer Trailmakers due to much lower views compared to Scrapman (so Scrapman is the only one that benefits). I think this was mentioned in the assumptions video he did

Broadside Challenge
Dogfighting planes but guns can only point sideways. Bonus Challenge is using gunpowder cannons
How about evolution vs devolution?
It's like the overpowered vs underpowered challenge. But each round the best of the underpowered get to be improved, well the overpowered has to down grade something. (number of blocks/weapons and such)
Could make it a point system so the underpowered can either improve by so much or make the overpowered degrade by some amount
When I heard 2 miniguns I instantly thought of the James Bond Aston Martin with the gun headlights.
Overpowered anti-tank gun versus tanks!
So... The basic frame you had going on, gave me an idea. What if you went on the giant donut track, where you tried the hover trains, but the challenge is...
You have to make micro hotrods. The goal is to make a vehicle in as few parts as necessary to make what looks similar to classic muscle cars, classic cars, hotrods, and the like. (I'd even allow the A team van to be included in the loose definition)
The caveat to this, and why that track is chosen, is to see how fast you can make this super small hot rod.
Whether you race, or attempt to see how far up the wall you can race, is up to you and the competitors, whether it includes weapons, shields, or limits on cores.

Overpowered plane formation versus 125 block limit planes
Well: Overpowered Submarines on the Stranded in Space map would be next. Don't know if it would be fun. OP Spacecraft is another option. OP Wallclimbers in Hulrum could be fun.

Here's a overpowered idea. Overpowered millennium falcon VS spaceships. And you have to fight on the space map
You could do a boat train battle like the train battle and hover train battle with yuzi
this is fun but evolution series was the best. would you try some new evolution ideas?
here is one: 4 players (2vs2) starts with some base vehicle which is simply a chassis with some small wheels, suspention, seat, and a pedestal for a gun. maybe 30-40 blocks in total, decide that and the amount of adding blocks and powerblocks at the stage of evolution yourself. the game starts with the evolution stage. you can add anything (agree on the banned blocks yourself), but you can't move or change any base blocks on that stage.
then fight until only one team's player(s) are left alive. after the fight only survivor(s) can evolve further, "extinct" players will have to start over with the base vehicle (survivor's teammate too if he died). also after the first fight everyone can move vehicle's blocks (base too), but only one square in only one direction (you can pick different for different blocks, of course), and change/delete up to 10% of existing blocks (this is already too large evolution, let's not make this a comic x-ray mutation). you can change wheels (each one counts) and powerblocks as well, but only within that 10% limit. use smart combinations (move+change/delete) to get the best result!
since this mode of evolution has more difficult rules than usual, spend more time on this stage, 3-4 minutes. victory conditions can be different, choose what you like more:
1. the team in which at least one player has reached a certain level of evolution is the winner.
2. the team that is the first to achieve a certain number of round victories, regardless of the maximum evolution level achieved, is the winner.
number one can be harder, but more interesting! try at least level 4.
and of course you can transfer these rules to all types of vehicles: driving, swimming, hovering, flying, etc. sorry I can't build base vehicles for you, I don't have the game.
Not trying to spam this will be the last time I present this idea just wanted to actually do so on a trailmakers battle. I have been unable to get the idea to work yet, but if it does I think it would be cool if you guys made a car and a glider and then attached them with power couplings to make a pseudo kite and then raced. If you want to make it super hard require the seat to be on the glider and do first person camera

Have 2 anti air vehicles try taking out a overpowered helicopter that is trying to do as many laps as possible around the map before it gets taken down
You should do a drone battle where you control the vehicle while not inside of it.
Overpowered submarines are the next natural choice
It'll be cool if you made a plane or a car that when damaged can eject or release a smaller version of it self for survival
Overpowered trains 100% should be attempted
When you do these challenges you should create another catch, for each time you have to repair either + 3 seconds to the opponent in a powerful vehicle or - 3 seconds from your time when you go. It could completely change the strategy on how you maneuver.
i got a dumb idea, make one of these overpowered videos, but instead of the miniature vehicles being the ones you make, it's the overpowered ones

do a ramp car derby by building ramp cars (with weaknesses on the sides and flat tops) and try to flip each other
Tells teammates to watch where they're shooting, Yzuei, what do you mean? There's no friendly fire damage when you're on the same team.

overpower spaceships? Like some mega powerful dreadnought versus some fighters?
I find it odd that it's 'overpowered' but has blind spots in the firing radius.
Maybe make and OP circular hovering UFO and place guns at 45 degrees around it so it can shoot in all directions.
Overpowered train could be interesting.
Reminds me of the Anki Overdrive Takeover race where you drive the small cars and have to take control of the semi truck to win

Have you guys ever considered doing two teams? One OP boat and a bunch of normal ones VS One OP Plane and a bunch of normal ones.
Another time of asking for a dogfight with channel logo themed vehicles (no rules other than the vehicle must be the shape of something that is part of you channel logo). Scrapman would definitely have a gear shaped vehicle but I'm not sure what Yzuei would have.

I found that having 2 miniguns on 1.50 duration with 1.50 pause it causes an infinite ammo kind of situation where it will keep shooting infinitely

Try pvp with emp and with power coupler as the body of the plane and place it betwen the tail and the wing and detachable blok to suport the body so when somebody shoot the detachable blok will fall and only left with power coupler and each round you have to decrese strength of the power coupler
