  • This is how I Deep Condition my 2b 2c 3a Wavy Curly Hair.
    I prefer to use the @justherbsindia Amla & Shankpushpi Hair Mask because it's a hair and scalp treatment hair mask. (This mask used to be called the Shirolepam Scalp & Hair Treatment Mask)
    ✅ This not only helps to moisturise my hair but also helps nourish a dry scalp.
    ✅ On days when I don't have time to pre-poo with a hair oil, this mask has me covered.
    ✅ It is very thick and creamy. It's packed with Indian Ayurvedic ingredients. To me this hair mask is unmatched. The whole world is raving about Indian Hair Secrets. We're so lucky that we have access to this hair product. It's a must try in my opinion.
    My holy grail! I've been raving about it for almost 2 years now for good reason!
    ❌Warm fragrance, but it doesn't linger so I don't mind it.
    ❗Remember that a mask alone will not moisturize dry hair and fight frizz in wavy and curly hair.
    You HAVE to follow it with a styling routine complete with a gel or mousse.

    Your hair looks so gorgeous! It's my favourite hair mask ❣️
    I have a question.
    Can bonnet hurt hair edges and cause hair loss? Recently I have noticed that the bonnet's edge/band pulls at my hair edges, mostly baby hairs and it hurts when it rubs with my hair edges. I have thin hair around that area too. So I'm afraid if it's making it worse. Even if i put the bonnet high up, it pulls at hair and I can't let it sit on my forehead because I get headaches. I just got used to sleeping with bonnet and now this is happening. I use a bonnet with a adjustable tie strap (got it for 200 from a Instagram small business account you recommended). Is there any solution?

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  Год назад +4

      This is what I've noticed about hair loss from certain areas. Hair does not like to be pulling in the same direction over and over again.
      In the pineapple position, my hair doesn't do well when kept that way for long. I've seen some hair loss from the sides because of this. All i understand is, keep it in a middle part and the hair near your parting will suffer and break. Keep it in a pineapple and the sides above the ears will suffer. So best to keep changing it up as much as possible.
      If you wear a pineapple and then use the bonnet, I'd say switch it up please.

    • @pujas134
      @pujas134 Год назад +1

      @@MichelleManuel The thing about pineapple is true. The only time my hair feels relaxed is when I keep my hair open. I'll try to switch it up. Thank you so much for answering ❣️

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  Год назад +1

      10 mins works perfectly for me. You can stretch it to 15. I wouldn't go by the directions on the box. Leaving your hair wet for prolonged periods of time isn't the best in the long run. Water tends to cause damage called hygral fatigue.

    Hey Michelle, I am completely new to this journey. Can I use this hair mask for my low porosity, 3b curls? I have a very dry flaky scalp and lots of frizz (i live in a high humidity region)

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  Год назад +4

      This is a thick & heavy mask. It would not be my recommendation to people with low porosity hair. I would recommend watch my video on dc masks in India video or my video on products for low porosity hair video in order to choose products that will be better suited.
      Or just use the conditioner that works for you as a dc mask. Don't waste money on a separate product. Stick to whatever light conditioner you already use.

    Hey Michelle I have one more question😅.. Can French braiding or any kind of braiding destroy curl clumps? ( if done on dry hair, b/w washes)

    • @MichelleManuel
      @MichelleManuel  Год назад +3

      The integrity of your clumps are solely dependent on what you do when you style & how you style. What you do before washing your hair doesn't have an impact on your clumps.

      Hey no. I wrote this comment out. Have a look:
      You can either use a hot towel and wrap your hair up in it after applying the mask or you can buy a cheap heat cap from Amazon. They're a little different. They'll cost you about 320 Rs ish. The only drawback is, it has a cord so you'll be relatively immobile.
      Here's the heat cap on amazon. You can have a look:

      If you're good with stitching you can make your own heatcap with fabric and flaxseeds. You'll find many tutorials on youtube which involve using socks and a needle and thread.
