Fantastic vlog Lee, loved it (and I am a woman!!), I hope you don't offend anyone, but if you do, good on you for putting it out there in the way you did as it was not in any way meant to be offensive and I think you did it as such, keep up the great work Lee xx👌
That was the best value for money breakfast you have had in a long time all that food for £8.20 A REAL MAN BREAKFAST 10/10 all year .great vlog Lee putting men back on top for a while.
Such a funny vlog. Here in Oz we had ads for a drink called Solo. Each ad was about How to be a Solo man in the 80’s. I loved them . Wouldn’t be allowed now!
Have you no shame boy!Turning up to a man’s truck stop in a milk float 😂😂😂and that was no builders tea either, looked more like a limp wristed wishy washy girls blouse tea!!! Breakfast looked absolutely spot on though 👍
I recall the 'it's not for girls' yorkie campaign having 'save it for driving lessons' on the bars!! NEVER get away with that now, surprised they could then
Hallelujah, finally an English breakfast with fried sliced potato's and fried bread, I really enjoyed it, a real bargain, everything looked so good. SPOT ON...
Great vlog Lee nostalgia when my grandson stayed over on the weekend sunday morning i would cook a full English and he would say what are you cooking and i would say a mans breakfast so from then on he always asked for a man's breakfast. load's of stuff i can comment on but not got time to. but i have a shelf with a cherry B and a babycham plus other stuff i can just admire all the time. take care.
Eh up Lee. You had me laughing from start to finish. I wasnt offended in the slightest. I remember the Toffo adverts. Those manly cowboys. Lol. Thank you for brightening my day flower.
You must try Nellies Diner on the A57, just over the Trent at Dunham Bridge. Won't be more than 30 mins from your house. The food is proper top quality truckers gear. Best full English in a static caravan award?!.
The Yorkie bar was originally made in York by Terry's, hence the name. Then Nestle bought Terry's out and the taste and texture completly changed for the worst.
The Yorkie bar wasn't made by Terry's, it was made by Rowntree Mackintosh which was a company based in York. Terry's and Rowntree Mackintosh are 2 different companies. Where ya getting your info from?
I work for a big supermarket distribution centre & a fare few lady trucker's are employed & shunters too ..10/10 for the beast of a breakfast 🍳🥓☕..Only miner criticism I thought tea looked very weak and NOT Builders Tea ☕💪
Well thank you so so so so much now that’s what a call a video 😂 people shouldn’t get offended at all loved it thank you made my week my year what a top geeza you are
I really enjoy watching your breakfast clips ,,, for the price you paid this looked exceptional. Generous amounts, and cooked perfectly, I would give it a 10 / 10 ,,, good video Lee.
What a fab vid. Loved all the adverts from back in the day when men could be men. Can't believe you ate all that food but that was the challenge, you kinda had to cos it was 'Man food' lol. Loved the Yorkie bit at the end 👍
What a quality breakfast enough to feed 2 people you can't beat a greasy spoon. You should have tow a trailer on the back of the Porsche have you had a CD radio fitted yet😁
Going to have to try this place next time I'm passing. That was a quality breakfast. The scran on the truckers night freight ferries out of Holland was pretty decent, and it was eat all you want too. That was a breakfast that set you up for the day.
Back in the day I often pulled into truck stops when traveling any distance because I could get a really big man food fry up really cheap. It seems that is still the case. If you had got that meal in a regular cafe it would have been anything up to twice as much.
Your commercial advert song "Will it be, etc., etc." is sung to the tune of "Que Sera, Sera" (sung by Doris Day) from the 1956 Hitchcock movie "The Man Who Knew Too Much".
Outstanding value that we simply don't get down here in Sussex. No excuse for some places charging a tenner or more for less than half the food that you had!
Remember the 80’s tv adverts for Hamlet cigars with the man in the Photo booth … or Russ Abbott fishing with the speaker playing Des O’Connor records ?! 😅
As a frequent traveller up and down A1 and sometimes visiting the pretty poor formal services next door, we will try this place, however I suspect we will now have trouble getting in there ! Great review.
Right, I'm off to England to have a good feed. This bloke always makes me hungry. It's gonna be a long swim from Australia. Why do I always watch these videos when I'm hungry?
This is my kind of place to have breakfast! Good food and good value. Fried bread is a must on a breakfast. My favourite review so far. I will have to visit this place. When Rowntrees were the producers of Yorkie and others like Kit Kat etc, it was a great company but taken over by a hostile action by the multi national Nestles in 1989 and has not been the same since.
You missed something Lee. Those trucker CB radio calls. Back in the 1980s I was a keen CB’er…”breaker 19 for a copy; you got ya ears on good buddy”! Anyway great vlog and seeing some of those old tv ads brought back memories. What a trucker’s breakfast that was Lee. Amazing that you gulped the lot down like a proper trucker. Trucker’s tea in a mug that’s a proper brew, as long as it’s Yorkshire tea. Nice Lee😉👍
I was a taxi driver in the 80/90's. You wouldn't believe how many guys were surprised. Also how many guys refused to get in my taxi. I laugh about it now but it was a real deal in those days. I once went to a working men's club for a fare, went into the bar OMG NO WOMEN ALLOWED! I was forced to say "I'm not a woman I'm a taxi driver!" All said and done, that breakfast was awesome.
This has made me think of my 2 careers of extremes. First was in the military and all macho, then second training to become a nurse and enter a world of never ending drama…!!
Excellent breakfast just bin the black pudding and slash brown good to see fried bread back where it belongs on the full English it is amazing value as well
🙃 Bloody awesome - I have been in them in Australian - everyone should do this once in their life to check it out as you can see its not POLISHED for the middle class, but a true blue place for the workers that roam the motorways and transport!!!! 10/10 LEE
Another one was 'Flora the margarine for men' 👀 hahaha but yep you can't beat nostalgia. Other good things from the 70s and 80 was the Raleigh Grifter/Chopper bikes, the orange space hoppers with the kangaroo face, Cadbury's Cream Bears (which tasted like a cream egg but was the shape of a flat bear), Cadbury Milk Tray Chocolate Bar which had all the different chocolates on the one bar, Tiger Tots and Bunny Tots, Spangles, Cresta Fizzy Juice, Tom and Jerry Jokers Fizzy Juice, Super Mousse chocolate bars, Texan bars, Gold Nuggets bubble gum, Starsky and Hutch bubble gum...so many great sweets and toys from way back then. Woolies always had a brilliant selection of selection boxes and easter eggs compared to the ones they have now. The 70s and 80s were definitely the best decades to experience and people did seem a lot happier. Great video and that was a terrific breakfast for the price 👍
fantastic video, got me watching the old adverts on RUclips lol,The milk tray man ,just one that cums to mind ,brilliant times ,everyone singing the adverts, witch don't happen no more ,like you said in your other video about this time of year when you was a kid ,that smell of fireworks and that foggy sky ,keep it up mate love the videos
Loved this … grandad was a lorry driver my dad was and my brother is … brought up with Convoy in the 70s….the 70s and 80s were the best …. My brother had a yorkie Easter egg every year 🤣
Lee listening to you is like listening to me talking to myself. We are both Mac freaks / designers etc with the exact same views on life. - Oh and given the subject matter here about the same age. Plus 20/10 for the breakfast
You are right about adverts on tv nowadays, they are shee ite! Do you remember the series of adverts for Hieneken with voice over from Victor Borge, and similar series of funny adverts for Carling Black Label? Then there was that classic advert for Fosters Lager featuring the American actor Barry Bostwick.
i swear there was a pattern on that plate when you started mac, propper brekky that , no greenery, no bread plate fillers, beans on the plate where they should, ten out of ten
YES YES YES, MAN Music as well, love the rock music, more of that please... Now that Shake and Vac woman won an award to being the sexiest Ad or something like that... Great fun most of the old ad's...
Fantastic vlog Lee, loved it (and I am a woman!!), I hope you don't offend anyone, but if you do, good on you for putting it out there in the way you did as it was not in any way meant to be offensive and I think you did it as such, keep up the great work Lee xx👌
When I was younger aboot 30 year ago we said "A pie eating, Yorkie eating fat bustard", and that was a compliment for a hard worker.
That was the best value for money breakfast you have had in a long time all that food for £8.20 A REAL MAN BREAKFAST 10/10 all year .great vlog Lee putting men back on top for a while.
Well done Lee for managing to eat all that 👏🏼 👍🏼 certainly looked very nice
Fantastic video Lee, great laugh and nostalgia! 10/10 for that man's breakfast! Loved the music on this one.
Definitely worth a 10 for the breakfast Lee,excellent value for the money and quality produce, had me salivating watching you eat it,great vlog
Such a funny vlog. Here in Oz we had ads for a drink called Solo. Each ad was about How to be a Solo man in the 80’s. I loved them . Wouldn’t be allowed now!
Proper man food Lee👍 You are the King of good old British fayre reviews, what fantastic value & breakfast venue👍
Have you no shame boy!Turning up to a man’s truck stop in a milk float 😂😂😂and that was no builders tea either, looked more like a limp wristed wishy washy girls blouse tea!!! Breakfast looked absolutely spot on though 👍
When a man gives you flowers that's impulse. that's the advert that came into my head.
It looked very clean and inviting, great value as well.
SPOT ON...
Fried bread is lush :)
I love this Lee. Great video

Ha that was superb them old adverts brought back some memories happy days 👍
Great vlog Lee. Impressed that you managed to clear your plate 👍
The Yorkie bar was originally made in York by Terry's, hence the name. Then Nestle bought Terry's out and the taste and texture completly changed for the worst.

Well thank you so so so so much now that’s what a call a video 😂 people shouldn’t get offended at all loved it thank you made my week my year what a top geeza you are
Great vid Lee, not offensive to us, remember the Hi karate advert, the chap fighting all the women off after a couple of sprays lol
Great video Lee, I remember the good old days of the 80's.
Amazing vlog lee and me too I’m a woman and proud but your spot on
The best breakfast you will ever eat is in our wonderful "greasy spoons"...love them.
I really enjoy watching your breakfast clips ,,, for the price you paid this looked exceptional. Generous amounts, and cooked perfectly, I would give it a 10 / 10 ,,, good video Lee.
As a kid growing up in the 70s, those Flake adverts really were a big hit with us boys 😉.
Lol,Lee old enough to remember those ads,you did make me chuckle today.
Great video…The world 🌎 has gone made but the Mac Master is here to sort it.
What a fab vid. Loved all the adverts from back in the day when men could be men. Can't believe you ate all that food but that was the challenge, you kinda had to cos it was 'Man food' lol. Loved the Yorkie bit at the end 👍
That's MY kinda breakfast!!! Great value, looked amazing. 10/10
A bargain. Great as always Lee. And you finished it.
That was so refreshing and reminded me of when men were men in the 80’s.. and now I need a yorkie bar.
Brilliant video Lee, loved it. The food looked really good and very good value for the money.
What a quality breakfast enough to feed 2 people you can't beat a greasy spoon. You should have tow a trailer on the back of the Porsche have you had a CD radio fitted yet😁
Brilliant watch, loved the old adverts, proper 👍
Great looking breakfast 👌.

Great review 5 stars enjoy how you do perfect

You are in Lincolnshire, its a Lincolnshire sausage !
Outstanding value that we simply don't get down here in Sussex. No excuse for some places charging a tenner or more for less than half the food that you had!
Wow, now that’s what I call a breakfast & what a bargain looks yummy 🤤
best breakfast i have ever seen... proper...
Remember the 80’s tv adverts for Hamlet cigars with the man in the
Photo booth … or Russ Abbott fishing with the speaker playing Des O’Connor records ?! 😅
As a frequent traveller up and down A1 and sometimes visiting the pretty poor formal services next door, we will try this place, however I suspect we will now have trouble getting in there ! Great review.
Awesome vlog Lee, that is a manly meal...10 for the men....onwards my friend.
Right, I'm off to England to have a good feed. This bloke always makes me hungry. It's gonna be a long swim from Australia. Why do I always watch these videos when I'm hungry?
The MacMaster, one of the leading minds of the 5th century, lol
The coke adverts with the muscle guy and the office full or drooling women.
That looked bloody good 😋
It was better back in the day. Brilliant vlog. Made me laugh 😊
I notice on the sign when the bar opens they sell LARGER. A larger what?
That was a huge meal and at such a price !!
You missed something Lee. Those trucker CB radio calls. Back in the 1980s I was a keen CB’er…”breaker 19 for a copy; you got ya ears on good buddy”!

That has got to be the best breakfast yet Lee, as DJ would say it’s off the charts. 👌
Great vlog Lee,(back in the ole days)good to see value is still there if you can find it and how lovely and clean it was
Brilliant stuff as usual, not offensive at all,I remember the flake advert from the late to early 80's lol.
You should try a cafe called the lazy trout it’s on the A49 it’s been there years and always does a great full English.
This has made me think of my 2 careers of extremes. First was in the military and all macho, then second training to become a nurse and enter a world of never ending drama…!!
Excellent video, start to finish. You made me laugh with PC stuff. That breakfast looked amazing. Feel like going myself.
I do find it offensive when I'm eating my fish and chips at 5.00pm and a ladies advert comes on TV about tampons. Puts me right off my ketchup
Was it better when the liquid was blue?
I get offended when chipolatas are advertised on the TV.
Just as well you aren’t a woman then. You’d know what pain is then. Men have it so easy.
Karen, I'm pretty sure men know what pain is. What a silly thing to say.
Have brown sauce instead. Just hope an advert for laxatives doesn t come on.....
The Lee of old is back !!! Glad to see your back to yourself again
Loved this one
That Mr Lee was a bloody good laugh, really cheered me up mate. Thanks for that one. Cheers I,m off to bed
still giggleing.
This is great banter
Terrific nostalgia edit! Quality! 😂👍👊
Spot on Mac ! Looks Great👍👍👍👍
Spot on Lee
Of course there are herbs in the sausages. You’re in Lincolnshire!
I'm surprised you could manage that Yorkie after the wonderful breakfast.
The Bounty advert from the 70s for me !
I believe it was filmed at Fannyside Loch ( yes a real place ) outside Cumbernauld !🤔
Great video Lee made my day 😂
You should slurp your tea so you get air mixed in with tea to release flavour , tea tasters do the same
Excellent breakfast just bin the black pudding and slash brown good to see fried bread back where it belongs on the full English it is amazing value as well
Amazing value that. 👍
Brilliant lee HAVE IT! little john from chichester
That's a good value meal
I loved the sarcasm!
Off the charts mate
Beautiful looking breakfast 👍 love fried bread 😊💜
The Marlboro Man, back in the late sixties. The White Owl cigars. Charly perfume for women.

Credit to you for finishing it all. Fried bread is one of my favourites but you don’t see it much anymore - shame.
Loved this … grandad was a lorry driver my dad was and my brother is … brought up with Convoy in the 70s….the 70s and 80s were the best …. My brother had a yorkie Easter egg every year 🤣

I really like the Picnic bar 👍🏻👍🏻
I like the bigger hole you were digging when you mentioned washing up liquid haha, btw size ok that breakfast
