Hi Stuart. I never leave a comment but this was by far the easiest video to follow and the easiest and safest way in my opinion to do the fitting. Thank you.
This video is very helpful - Thank you! I own a MINI Clubman and I am a Motoring Advisor at a dealership, in the DC area. Some customers wish to add items, now I can better assist them with their scuttles, without them having to schedule a service appointment.
I dont even own a car, let alone a Mini, but your laid back presenting style, crystal clear pictures and wry sense of humour means I'd enjoy a video about watching paint dry if presented by you. In fact I think you have done one on that very subject! Sets me up in a calm and serene mood for the rest of the day. I have just fitted my Balista valve caps on my Speedmaster, they are superb bits of kit. Cheers Uncle Stuart.
Very helpful. Thanks very much. I'll have my new 2024 Clubman S All4 in Melting Silver w/ black roof, rails, wheels and mirrors next week and want to refit the stock side scuttles with the traditional Union Jack.
Hello, Uncle Stu! Not on topic but I just got my Lomo panniers sorted and packed the bike up for a dry run. My Goose tent rode on top and everything stayed well put. I’m good and ready for this years camping season, and all of it is thanks to your recommendations. I wish I could send you a pic of my Street Cup all geared up. Not the usual long distance bike but I’m not worried. I’ve spent thirteen hours a day on this jewel already! I also always let manufacturers know when I place an order that it was on your advice. Keep the reviews coming and the rubber side down!
I really like minis had one in the late 80s . Kept blowing the wipper fuse which sounds trivial but was a nightmare in the dark when it was raining and wipers not working. Might have been just been something simple never did get round to fixing it just kept changing the fuse. Had it about four years the passenger door eventually fell off and scraped it. I even had a set of alloys on it with wide tyres it was the mustard colour which matched all the rust on it. Fun wee motor to drive. Liked your mini video as I still have a soft spot for them.
Just ordered an F54 and was looking through the side scuttle accessories and wondering how to access them. Immensely helpful, thank you very much indeed.
V happy to view your Mini stuff Stuart - Additionally, your odd bit on photographic kit / technology that you’ve previously uploaded is always welcome. Shared interests of mine. Thanks.
I don't think you'll lose any subscriber's, keep making the videos and we'll keep watching them. I joined your channel because of the Interceptor but I really enjoy all the Triumph, gadget and accessory videos. The Interceptor service videos alone are worth their weight in gold and I bet they've helped a lot of people worldwide. Keep up the good work. Mind you, I'll not watch the fish videos, I imagine it's a fantastic and very relaxing hobby. It's just that I like my fish battered, deep fried with a big pile of chips. Ride safe.
Next time you want to change up the scuttle try this... Push forward (toward front of car) on the scuttle and you will "feel" the spring retainer push in. When you can't push any farther swing the scuttle out from the front (where pushed to) pulling on the bottom front and it swings out like a door. About 2 seconds to do. Looked at your badge...looked great!
As always Stuart, another quality video. Even though the subject was simple the explanations would take away any doubts at all. There is one thing I would particularly congratulate you on though and that is the camera work when showing the weather shield removal. I specifically relate to showing the overall engine bay first to give relative position, before zooming in for the detail. I know it's blindingly obvious, but it's also rare, so well done. Get well soon, Dave
Clearly you're a man of great taste. My R57 cooper s is my favorite vehicle after my T120. I for one will be happy to see more Mini content on your channel. I hope you get well soon and keep up the good work 👍
Dear Stuart, you can just slip some thin string up behind the trim and pull it to the back, releasing the clip. Saves a bit of time. I do have to say, Mini paintwork is very orange peeley but you can't expect too much from a bunch of Jerry built cars. Great concise content as ever Stuart, you won't loose me.
@@stuartfillingham yes I remember the satin finish M 3 paint bird poo fiasco. 3 hours and it needed painting, too delicate. But as my grandfather used to say "Jerry built" 😂😂😂
Hi Stuart, thanks for the video - very helpful. Do you know if the "night jack" side scuttles fit in a F54 built between 2015-2018? Or is it only doable for the models after 2019?
Most of us bikers do drive and I have no problem with a bit of car dressing and if you been unwell some content is better than a rush job video I like your videos for the time you take on them get well soon and back on your bike
I think a Mini Cooper is a good choice, perhaps better than the Cooper S in terms of money saving. My car is a Honda Jazz Sport, but I always wonder about the Mini. My partner has a 2012 Mini One which is great so at least I get to drive one. Perhaps that four door estate is the practical middle way. Cheers and get better soon. Pete
Not a Triumph owner, nor a Mini owner, but I enjoy your content. The content, however, has made me don my rose tinted glasses and look at the possibility of Triumph ownership!! Keep the videos coming, motorcycle and motorcars. Would like to get your opinion on the new Rocket 3 GT, if you ever get a chance.
The aftermarket trim piece is loads better looking than the stock one. I am anxious to see what you do next. I must ask though, why does it look as though a gull has made a deposit under the plastic cover? LOL
Hi Stuart, must admit from a purely selfish point of view the indicator video I was hoping for was fitting of those very nice black and brass ones you have for the interceptor. The Enfield indicators fitted as standard are my least liked parts. Have pretty much decided how to fit replacement front. It's the rear I'm puzzling over. Will be interesting to see how you tackle it. Won't be losing my subscription however. Hope the health picks up soon.
Putting a union flag on it still doesn't change it it's still German it may come from Cowley north plant it's still German the south plant was turned into a retail park Cheer's Stuart
And your point is... ? Everyone knows that it’s BMW. Nice that they chose to build them here and employ 4K or so locals though wasn’t it. It’s a desirable, well made car, manufactured in the UK. Let’s concentrate on that eh.
The world’s moved on old son, the Mini is constructed in the UK using UK personnel and plant. It is very well regarded across the globe (even l own one)! I’m afraid the days you’re harking back when vehicles, aircraft, trains etc etc were wholly designed and manufactured in one country or another are ancient history...
Hi Stuart.
I never leave a comment but this was by far the easiest video to follow and the easiest and safest way in my opinion to do the fitting.
Thank you.
Glad it helped

I'm more than happy to have a bit of 4 wheel stuff Stuart, variety is the spice of life!

Nice addition to the car. Hope you are feeling better, and thanks for taking the time on that Norton video.
Put your worries aside, your personality and presentation sells the subject. Good health.
Gratitude. Regards Gareth Wiltshire.
I haven't got a mini and have no intention of getting one but I still want to support your channel, so, I still watched and clicked like.
Great video! Depenting on this, I changed my scuttles very easy, thanks!
Hello Stuart, Loved the Mini video. Love the Reef Keeper videos and obviously love the Motorcycle videos. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Cheers Keith

Once again a very clear concise bit of info. Well done sir, and I do hope you recover quickly and fully.😊
Nice diversity I have a 2012 Cooper S and you've got me thinking about my options to tweak it - be v happy to see more of these interludes
This new F54 owner thanks you, Sir.
Love the MINI content. I enjoy all of your videos.
Thanks for the video, very helpful!
Great content Stuart. Love both the motorcycle and the mini stuff. Hope you feel better soon.

Im afraid the Germans produce the worst paintwork in the industry. its never been their strength!

I don’t have a Mini but can appreciate a nice little upgrade. Get well soon chap!

I think every relationship has to have diversity...... so good on you Stuart for keeping it interesting 👍🏼 hope you feel better soon 😁
Sending positive thoughts - get well soon.
"spend the weekend now watching my subscriber count drop"... 🤣🤣
That sense of humour should be bottled and sold... Brilliant!
No problem with the Mini content, my wife runs a two seat Mini Cooper S coupe, such a fun car to drive.
.....not a problem ...I was thinking of getting a mini instead of a fourth bike!
Used to have a black Mini Cooper convertible. Lovely cars.
Thank you for this info.

Is there any web site where we can buy MINI accessories? Like Motone for Triumphs?
I too like the mini content.

Where did you get the trim from ?

The edit was to correct a misspelling.
It an anti corrosion wax type substance Scott, it seems to be all over the car!
Hi mate different is good get well soon stu

You've certainly got a thing about Union Jacks.
Stuart.....there’s too many wheels on that mate! 😂😂
Minis, what's not to like? Thought you sounded croaky last time, take it easy and get well soon!
Not a client of these, but I very much welcome diversity.

Thanks for that encouraging remark Iain nice to see you could find something positive to say.

It's not 1942 so who cares. British based design mixed with some German engineering can only be a good thing
