      God saves a person from hell, not good works. (Check out Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:23, John 14:6, John 3:16-36, Matthew 7:3-14 and Matthew 7:21-23). Works are the fruit of salvation, not the root of salvation.

    Nicaragua's name is derived from Nicarao, the name of the chief and Nahuatl-speaking tribe, and the Spanish word agua, meaning water

    • @marcusadventures
      @marcusadventures  5 месяцев назад

      Hola Sofia! Hay dos teorías predominantes sobre cómo surgió el nombre de Nicaragua. La primera es que el nombre fue acuñado por colonos españoles basándose en el nombre de Nicarao, quien era el jefe o cacique de una poderosa tribu indígena. Sin embargo, a partir de 2002, se determinó que el verdadero nombre del cacique era Macuilmiquiztli, que significaba "Cinco Muertes" en lengua náhuatl, en lugar de Nicarao.
      La segunda teoría es que el nombre del país proviene de alguna de las siguientes palabras náhuatl: nic-anahuac, que significaba 'hasta aquí llegaron Anáhuac', o 'hasta aquí llegaron los nahuas', o 'hasta aquí llegaron los que vienen de Anáhuac'. ; nican-nahua, que significaba 'aquí están los nahuas'; o nic-atl-náhuac, que significaba 'aquí junto al agua' o 'rodeado de agua'

      "In most Latin American countries, there are instances of racial bias, where people tend to treat you better if they perceive you to have assets or power or if you are of European descent. This is an unfortunate reality, and I'm not trying to disparage my own people. However, it's important to be cautious about revealing too much about your wealth or possessions to women, as some may prioritize material aspects and may even marry for those reasons. If you're traveling with the intention of finding a life partner, it's advisable to be mindful of how much personal information you disclose and avoid dressing in an overly flashy manner. Being cautious and taking preventative measures can help avoid potential complications down the road."
