I think because it's so different than other bit rate reduction plugins. At least to me it seems to impart a LoFi sound that is different from what I normally get with plugins like Decimort 2 or Tritik Krish. It has a vibe that I'm unfamiliar with but it's also pleasing when used correctly. It also seems that they put a lot of effort into intelligently removing harshness that comes along with bit rate reduction artifacts. Honestly the things I really love tho are the sample and hold stutter effect as well as the frequency specific resonance artifact controls. It's just so weird and unique. Regardless of what it does, as long as it sounds good, it is good! Thanks for the comment
What a cool plugin. Didn't know these guys existed before this video popped up in my sub feed. I'd love to see other reviews! Sweep interests me a lot too; I've always wanted to be able to apply the Shephard Tone effect to other things. I think I found a few Max 4 Live plugins that do this, but they got lost in my endless abyss of free device downloads, haha. There was one cool one called Fractal Filter that seems really out there too, here's a video showing it: ruclips.net/video/498dUs3LGZo/видео.html
Thank you for the comment! I believe the developers are very new (like less than a year old) but they're doing some really cool stuff. I haven't had the chance to mess with Sweep but I'll definitely test it out and see if it's something useful for my productions. Honestly I'd love to do a review of Strum so maybe that will be coming up soon. I completely know the feeling of getting lost in your free downloads haha. I have limited experience with Ableton but some of the Max for Live devices blow my mind. There's just so much cool stuff that I haven't seen in other DAWs. I'll check out the video you sent too! Thanks again.
Great tutorial but I can't get enough of that beat! Great sounds, keep up the good work!
I really appreciate that. Thanks a lot 😊
The review was on point! and It was such a really nice beat you made, keep it up bro
I really appreciate that! Thanks a lot. I went through a phase of making LoFi beats like that one haha. I'll do my best to keep up my video releases.
very nice beat and a very cool plugin
I really appreciate that! Thanks a lot.
what program are you using?
Logic Pro 10.5.1 with a dark theme from Logic Pro Colorizer
Solo the track youre demonstrating with?
Yup I should have done that. Good call.
It's just a codec in a wrapper, why the F does it sound so good?

Haha that's interesting. But on that kind of music it kind of reminds me of waiting in line on the phone 😆
Codec makes the music sound even more like hold/elevator music 😂
Does it only work on audio tracks? Cause it's not showing up in my midi tracks.
you'll need to apply it as an effect in your mixer channel.

Thank you!
Oh you can't put it on a mono track is what it is.
Sorry I forgot to respond. Glad you figured it out tho. I has no idea it only worked on stereo tracks so thanks for the info!
