With the help of Westwood Fire Company we are able to give over $50,000 of fire gear to the Philippines! We wanted to show you the whole process of picking up the gear. After receiving the gear we vacuum sealed it and prepped it for shipping. We have a total of 26 pairs of gear and can't wait to get it to the Pateros Downtown Fire and Rescue Volunteers! Shipping one set of gear costs over $500. @TheParamedicCoach stepped up to the plate BIG TIME and paid for the first set to be sent out! Check Shipper Worldwide they do pallets to containers anywhere. It will not be as quick but it might be cheaper and all donations to one dept or central location for pick at one time.

@@HeroesNextDoor they looked like they were US based. But they were just the first search that I did. I’m hoping that it will be cheaper for you. My search was for “how to ship a pallet worldwide” best of luck love the videos.

I’d recommend you partner directly with a shipping company instead of going through a mailbox place. They might donate/reduce shipping by going direct and explaining what your doing.
We have tried that. No one wants to partner right now. However we are talking to DHL to try and partner

Hello Mike! My name is Klarence Medel Pacer of Kankaloo Fire and Rescue of Caloocan City, I am a fire volunteer here in the Philippines as well and I've been in the service for 2 years already and this donation is a big help for us. To Westwood Fire Company, thank you so much for the fireman's gear that you donated to our country. Thats cool. Question ? Has anyone reached out to DHL, FED EX, Or UPS, to see if they could ship it for free if a plane was going over there for other shipments drop offs. In the next few days my department will be ordering about 30 to 35 sets of all new gear, boots ,gloves, hoods, coats, pants.

Hi I’m a volunteer here in mindanao Philippines we are in a brigade it is so hard to have a sponsor we have a 1 1990’s truck still running and we have 40 fire volunteers but we only have 4 bunker coats and 2 bunker pants with 4 helmet and now we are reaching that who want to help us.
I'd love to help in your efforts. If I were to round up some equipment, would you come to NC to pick it up or if you can help with funding I can ship it?
