Thanks for this video! I ended up buying it and love it. My daughter kept telling me I need to get one and then your video came along to tell me which one to get.
Thanks for the great content! I got the Kodak Mini series knowing that the photos are 30 cents per photo, compared to my other Instax camera that costs $1 per photo.
Do you know if I don't use for several weeks, the ink will dry like the printers we have at home with the computers? Thk Sorry for translation, I hope you will understand me, l'm French 😁
Hi! I'd love it if you could do a comparison and review of the most recent polaroid cameras - including the fuji film instax mini and square, the polaroid go, and others. And I'd also love a comparison of mini portable printers - like Cannon ivy, this kodak retro, and the intax mini printer. Also on amazon, I've seen loads of terrible reviews for this kodak printer, which is so confusing because the review photos indeed look terrible. But can it be that bad? Thankyou ! x
hmm, i have the polaroid hi-print, but ive had quite alot of defective prints with it, so im looking to try a new printer. Wonder if the kodak can match its print quality or maybe even print better quality photos.
I have this thing for a little over a year now. When it works it's really great, unfortunately cartridges jam often making them unusable. When I look back at the number of cartridges wasted I would not recommend this printer. My printer was replaced with a new one which didn't change a thing. In the end prints are much more expensive! Also mine ended working just 1 month after warranty expired.
@@Gemini_Connect it is a common problem, which Kodak haven’t addressed. Most of my issues happened after the firmware update and it’s been temperamental since.
great video, can you still take a picture then have it print one picture at a time per picture shot, without the use of the app, I already looked up a youtube about this problem, I was hoping that you might have the answer to this question 😀, thanks - CyberGod
Great review. I was going to go with the Canon Selphy but the photos that come out of of it are way too small. Kodak has a lot of experience with Dye-sub printers. About 2001-2005 they use to sell a Dye-sub that could print up tot 8X10 and was exremely popular. Unfortunately, like many Kodak products it went extinct.
Stick to canon seply very little goes wrong with it and reliable. The Kodak retro 3 has printing issues “failed pick up paper or cartridge failure”. You will have lots of cartridges going to waste, now it sits there gathering dust.
Nice review... Can you say where can we get the refill? I know will get 60 sheets with the product... but what happens after that? How to get new refill, Its not available in amazon...
That is so awesome. Do you know if it will print images from a GoPro 11? My wife is going back home to the Philippines to see her family, and it would be great if she could print photos for them while there. She has a battalion, so to speak, of nieces and nephews 😊. Thank you for the video?

Is the photopaper adhesive so you can use as stickers?

Yes, the cost per image is a huge selling point.
Where can you find the film? I can’t find it anywhere.

@@rome3887 The ink do not dry out at all! You can use it anytime you want :)
Where do you buy the Kodak mini photos ? All I can find them for are the same price point as instax at $1 per
Could you do an update review? Be interested in seeing how it's held up thanks
It can print while charging?
How does this compare to the mini 2 printer
Nicely done video! Clear, concise, informative. Thank you!
Thank you, you are very professional in your review.

I got one as a birthday gift, cant wait to try it out!!!
i watched a review of the Mini 2 and the photo quality looked much better.. i wonder why?
How does this compare to the Canon qx10 (or qx20) in regards to the photo quality and photo longevity?

I'm sorry to hear that. We haven't had cartridge jamming issues, but it sounds like a common problem.

How well does it to indoor photo's? Is the flash any good?
It’s fair indoors and with flash. Honestly not the best

Will I be able to use this with my Canon R100 camera instead of a phone?
I must say, you are really good at this. Thank you for the unboxing
Is this better than Polaroid hi gen 2?
Excellent review. Have you had any jammed cartridges yet?

These photos are smaller than the Canon Selphy (I have that printer too for when I want to make bigger prints).

These are great and lots of fun at various events!
Thank you for the comprehensive and succinct review! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Have you tried the canon ivy 2? :)
Very helpful and informative. Thank you.

Can anyone help me with firmware update? Can’t get through that step for some reason 😢
Why change the cartridge? is it not functional?
It runs out of ink on occasion, so you have to change it with a new one.
Excellent video. I hope to buy this printer, at least partially based upon your reccomendation.
Thank you for the review. Have you had issues with cartridges jamming?
I haven't.
@@Gemini_Connect I ended up picking one up. Thank you.
how's it been? Any issues
@@DinoSpumoni213 No problems, ended up getting one for my mom for Christmas as well. Happy with mine.
Great review thanks
It seems it is impossible to buy refill cartridge.
Great review thank you very much. From portugel
Very interesting.
still mocro-usb? Their prev version was also micro-usb. Guess they want people to carry extra cables with them.
I want to think this is better than a film camera 📸 but I’m not too sure! It’s certainly so convenient 😍
1st Aprove, That is Amazing!!! (Move over Polariod)
I don't know if that's liked it cop your printer I have Canon but when those pictures are in sunlight they fade
We tend to keep our prints indoors -- I mainly use them for scrapbooks and frames around the house. But that is a good point.
Micro charger? Wtf. Anything after 2015 should be usb C
I agree!
Battery life of just 25 photos is a non starter for me.
You not going to get any other mini printers that will do more, just have a power bank and cable with you.
Don’t worry brother it comes with a charger too. It’s not one battery !
Искаме снимки на Джулиан-Тошко, поне да имаме нещо материално в ръцете си. Целувки!
DO NOT BUY ONE. CHECK THE REVIEWS. UNRELIABLE. CHEAP CONSTRUCTION.
