There's one other rule that was no mentioned. And that is the shaft angle cannot be less than 10 degrees to the putter head. I've been doing forward facing side saddle for decades and I love it and am a better putter than most because of it. As a right hander I arm lock on my left forearm across my body (not touching chest), with my right hand below my left. Feels like I'm just rolling the ball to it's target. It is so natural. Everybody I play with thinks it makes so much sense. But it's very rare I run across anyone else doing it. Keep up the good work! Bill from Palm City, FL
The only way I putt.Definitely allows u to keep both eyes on the line towards the Hole. The tough part is the Longer Distance n now the Strain on my back as I get older n Pack on the pounds
Love to hear that! With the longer ones you just have to gage how far back you'd take your hand as if you were bowling the ball. What putter do you use?
The vast majority of golf strokes are sidesaddle. Facing the line of the stroke is not. So everybody's terminology is backwards. There must be no crossover between golf and equestrianism for them to be getting this wrong.
