@@steveturgeon1081I credit your ability to film as it isn’t easy be able to capture someone working & make the viewer feel as if you were right there that’s an art form right there 🛠️
Hey…what a find! It’s crazy cars were made out of wood back then and the glove box was actually pristine. So hard to find a complete one without it being torn up. Can’t wait to see what you do to it! The break down of a car is definitely a fun part! Big Steve showing us his power pushing the Zephyr 💪🏻
I did a 36 Chevy 5 window coupe, every one asked me if I’m going to use the OG motor and transmission, I said no because I like to go fast and look cool . I’m running a 406 small block Chevy with a TKO 5 speed transmission with a 55 Chevy posi reared . Would like to share the picture don’t know how on this. Much love and respect for what you do
IMHO initial disassembly is one of the most exciting parts of a build. Discovering what is right and what is wrong powers the planning process. One could almost see your thinking as you dug into this thing.
I see you use Kroil for those stubborn nuts and flathead screws. Salud! I found that company back in the 90s, bought a can, and never used anything else since. It's 'the sh!t'. Looking forward to seeing you work your magic on this Zephyr, Mike.
What a neat project. I am amazed at the amount of wood in the rear seat area. I guess the limited production of the Zephyr convertible made more sense to support that area with wood. Go, Bud!
Great to get to see the teardown which to me is part of building it back . Hopefully I get to see all of this from start to the first new drive down the street on the test run . It's going to be an interesting one Mike and we know you can do it . Watching from south west Idaho .
Thanks for showing the dirty part of building custom cars. Its not all glitz and glamor, ya need to get your hands dirty. Nice job keeping it real, cheers!
You are an artist who is looking at someone elses art work turned puzzle who in turn looks at it and turns into Your ark work/puzzle. This way when it goes back together it will have the true function it was meant to have and not so much of the artwork it had when it was first made. You truly are a Master At Your Craft. I Thank You for that
you're the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We always can't wait till the next video. Enjoyed Sam. Seems to be a good worker. You like us get excited about what you do. We are in North Carolina and work our buts off everyday and love it!
Buenas ! ultra-rare Zephyr Convertible...looks pretty solid...never really modified or Hot-Rodded - wow. got to be very few even when new, you had to be a High-Roller Gangsta to own that new then. Like to see this one done as the Cream-color '40 Merc - for me your Most Beautiful Build
. . The dreamin stage is the best, just before ya start changin things up. Thank you for doing your page, I know it's inspiring a lot of young ones. . .😎
Hi Mike, looking forward to seeing you starting this fine ride, keep customizing your way because your style is so cool and classic that there is a great comfort to older guys like me. Fantastic work you are truly one of the best ,l always look forward to your videos. Stay cool be safe.
I just love how those old cars get dismanteld. Those allmost 90 year old screws allmost all if them get los. Try that on a 80's car. No chance. Can't wait to see the next film mike. I've started saving money for a trip next year to cali and visit you ( keeping in mind i am building my gmc truck that cost a lot of chees 💲💲💲💲😂).
Bello, you’re an INSPIRATION! I love the way you operate, your positive energy, I secretly take with me to work the’Bello Process’ and it helps make my assignments a whole lot easier and enjoyable. Thank you Bello for sharing and thank you Bello’s Film Crew for capturing the style of Bello’s artistry.
Got a question. When you see a lot of rust how do you go about deciding what way you are going to tackle it? Do you fallow back to good metal or do you just replace it it? I’m just curious. Thanks for letting enjoy your work.
I would just like to know how many zyphers you worked on in your life my first time seeing a convertible I think. It should be a nice build I hope it's a complete build.
hey have not seen carapila in a while nice to see he still around mike i heard about your place from a guy from canada make it kustum is his channel he had a lot of nice thing to say about you ever since i watch your channel havent been disapointed yet thaks for all you do love watching you guys do what you do keep em coming
Hi mike ,now this is going to be a project ...but as always i know your the man for this job ....im so glad this did not end up being crushed ....its going to be a fab restoration cant wait for the end result
Another one that was bought online , and shipped 2,000 miles . That's okay , but the buyer bought it depending on the pics to be the real deal . The seller lied his ass off ...again . The good part is Bellos will save a car that would have been scrap in another 15 years . Great work again .
As already said hard to imagine they were STILL using wood in '39. I do love these Zephyr projects - it's gonna be the shit! (I bet that rear end sold already!)
I agree Mike, the only time any car should be on a trailer is when it's broken down. Trailer queens are a waste of a vehicle. There should be no trophies at car shows then that would stop those glory hunters who only build them for shows.
Hehehe - yeah, I know whatcha mean. But here I am a real trophy whore now 'cause my 56 Merc wins so much. And I drive her every time. Wish I could post a pic.
Y'lnow...I always end up wanting more when you come to the end of the episodes. Can you set me up a 'Couch Heckler Bench' up against the wall in there, somewheres, so's I can come camp out and watch youse guys all day? I'll bring my own lunch!
A restorer would be bagging and tagging like mad during this phase. Every scrap would be stored as a future template. I am guessing that this would be happening off camera with the possible exception of those parts that will never return to this vehicle. Not the most exciting footage but critical for some things.
Your right vintage is cool but my 49 Merc is going to get 351 w ,It's your fault my stroker flathead is being taken out so I can drive the car anyplace and not come home on trailer . Thanks for your insperation to move on from the flathead .
THAT'S WHY CUSTOMERS BRING THERE ( CARUCHAS ) TO BELLO'S KUSTOMS! PLAIN & SIMPLE, MIKE THE MAN WITH A PLAN. TO MODERNIZE THIS OLD GAL, GIVING HER A PEP TO HER STEP! PURO LOVE HOMIE, FOR THESE CARRITOS. CANT WAIT TO SEE SOME OF YOUR TRICKS, FOR THIS LOVELY LADY. SO THAT SHE LAYS DOWN, ON THE GROUD! KEEP DROPING THE NEW VIDEO!!!! ADIOS....
Greetings from Pembroke Dock to all at Bello’s Kustoms & all those followers of the Great Fabricator Mike Bellos

Hey John. You will have to see if you can get big Steve a number four or five shirt, the way he pushed the Lincoln up on the ramp.!!!
The start of another amazing journey. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Mike , Big Steve. Keepin it real!. Good to see Carapila back at work

It would be awesome to know the history of a great old car like this, who owed it, where it came from, etc.
Hi from Australia,
Bought a couple of T shirts, fantastic quality!
Some people see damage…. Squint real hard and see a gorgeous beauty…. Keep up the great work….😊

Saludos from Austin TX! Such a cool car, the zephyr will turn out killer I am sure. I was wondering when you would find the mouse house!
What a neat project. I am amazed at the amount of wood in the rear seat area. I guess the limited production of the Zephyr convertible made more sense to support that area with wood. Go, Bud!

By far, You get the most respect from me. You not only have the most equipment you also know how to use it.

Enjoyed the video today Mike. Any chance you could show a little more about the vachume cylinders ?
Hi Mike, looking forward to seeing you starting this fine ride, keep customizing your way because your style is so cool and classic that there is a great comfort to older guys like me. Fantastic work you are truly one of the best ,l always look forward to your videos. Stay cool be safe.
It's amazing that back in the day they used fine thread hardware on everything and that 80 years later they weren't welded together with rust
I just love how those old cars get dismanteld. Those allmost 90 year old screws allmost all if them get los. Try that on a 80's car. No chance.

Part 1 of a monumental task. Go for it ,Mike [and crew]
I would just like to know how many zyphers you worked on in your life my first time seeing a convertible I think. It should be a nice build I hope it's a complete build.

Hey Mike instead of an LS3 why not put a warmed over Coyote in it, that way it would be a Ford in a Ford.

Always help out the homie. Don't forget to always press the " like " button & " subscribe " $$$$$$$😅😅
You see the car dissappear into the dark behind the roller door knowing it will be the last time it looks like that. Now Mike works the magic.
Need more about the 1939. You working on 😊
I already know that carruchita is going to look good! It’s in good hands!!!
Nice job Mike.
It's good 👍🏿 to see 👀. Mr Carripillia. Mr. C had ganas.😅

Not a restoration.
No job is too trivial for Mike. Much respect.
I never realized that they had so much wood in them 😂😂 I’m sure that this will be another great project Mike 😎👨🏻🎨
