    So interesting seeing almost everything done manually... the making of the cassava bread ...cassareep .....don't know if I could eat worms ...maybe if I really really had to....but I admire the people and their skills in their everyday lives ... The Amazon is a naturally beautiful place ,,,so much of nature here.....viewing now...As always Thanks David and be safe wherever you are . Peace and Blessings.

    Hey David. Watching right now. Enjoying this series as I’m learning about my own country. Don’t care for cassava. You are brave. No way I’m trying the worm 🐛 raw, BBQ‘Ed , fried. Appreciate your always respectful and transparent reviews. Don’ts these waters have crocodiles or gators ? Used to see them walking towards the ocean at my grandmothers house. But they were always the old ones dying on the dam. We never went in any waters. Ok David. Have a great day. Have about 35 minutes left. 🙌🏼

    Hey David, how does one find these excursions off the beaten path? How much do they cost? Great tour. I love meeting the locals and sharing their culture. Great videos

    • @Davidsbeenhere
      @Davidsbeenhere  Год назад +4

      These excursions can be costly for sure, ranging from hundreds to thousands depending on the depth of the excursion- how many days, lodging, transportation etc. Some of these places have air strips for flights, or actual lodges that can be costly. But I've had varying expenses and its always more than you think. The local tourism office often has these connections but in this instance my guide was essential to planning and setting this up. You can find many of these tourist governmental or tourism govt connected entities in every single place you visit almost. The Amazon excursions are best found on social media and google. TripAdvisor has a couple too. But you are always best off asking those respective offices and seeing if they can connect you.

    Good morning David. OMG, you started off eating the coco worms. Got to skip that part. Anyway, just wanted you to know that I will watch this later: have to go out soon. I watched the video yesterday with Xiaoma and you in the Amazon with the tribe. I could not believe what I was seeing. That shaman giving you both a hot spit bath was insane. Hey the smudges fit to a tee🤭🤭🤭. As much as you like doing things that we wouldn't think of doing, I couldn't believe you did that😱 WOW!!! Another thing is that breast milk is good for eye infections and you can also use rose water as an eye wash. One more thing: you need a full body suntan 😊. Can't wait to see your series in the Amazon. Have a good Wednesday and don't do anything crazy. Thank God you both survived.🙏😇🇹🇹🇨🇦

    You are lucky the Guyana native ppl have a small selection of worms compared to other countries.I didn’t see your host Stacey having a bite. Everything else on the menu she was digging into! The natives are also worm whisperers! They are only found there😅. They know when to eat!

      Ugh..., here we f**king gooooo. Just stop already. We're so dam past it that Guyanese ppl are ignoring it. Every country has delicious delicacies that's different from another place. There own twist to it. The argument is tired, and you sound like 🤡 right now... move on from that argument...jeez 🙄.. I love Trinidadian food. I stayed in Trinidadian for a month, and there was nothing I didn't eat. It's fucken delicious! And i love my Guyanese and Jamaican food. You cant tell me you make better jerk chicken, cause we all know you don't. But everyone has their own twist to things, but you're not better than anybody.
