    Day 7 of quitting smoking for me. I’ve gotten 1 nightmare and a 2 very bad cravings but other than that I think it’s easy and I feel like I’m up to the challenge. One thing is I feel a lot of comfort watching these videos of ppl quitting and seeing their journeys so I thank you ✌🏼

    I stop 371 day ago 😄 never felt better. So after a 1 year and 5 days this are my benefits : Better sleep, more energy, better memory. This are the fields where i see a lot of changes. One more thing, I can run much longer.

    Been smoke free for almost 9 months myself with swedish snus and i can say from my experience it has helped me dramatically to quit.. im still craving every now and then but im gonna keep going, never again! I've never been this long smoke free and i really feel im starting to settle in as months pass by. For new quitters i suggest you don't prepare it at all, just smoke your last cigarette and say it's over now, i heard it's 2 or 3 times more effective than preparing certain day like new year's eve or birthday. I wish all the best for you and all the other quitters here, we will do it! :)

    Thanks for the update. Always look forward to your videos. It's definitely motivating. I too quit for a while then relapsed. Trying to find the strength to keep strong this time. So tired of this nicotine monster on my back. I certainly appreciate your videos as they helped me alot through my journey. Stay strong brother and NTAP

    9 months without a cigarette now and watching your videos was probably the biggest reason. Had I not watched them, I likely would have never heard about Alan Carr's book. Thank you and congrats on the year man!

      Congrats, Jim! You absolutely can! Just remain focused. The longer you put between yourself and the last cigarette, the easier it will get. You are literally making the best decision of your life :)

    I used the patch from Jan 4th till March 30. Now it has been 6 weeks 100% away from nicotine. I had to use something in the beginning but I agree with your statement I traded one demon for another but I needed that extra help. It was a littke rough after the patch for the first week now I feel pretty good but I will never get over confident. Anyways, I just want to say it is possible...rough but possible if you truly want it. Good luck and If you need a replacement there is nothing wrong with that. Just remember thst you eventually have to set down the replacement. It is 100% possible you got this

    I’m on day 5 of quitting and your videos have brought much comfort and education. Literally think I would have picked up a cigarette if it wasn’t for your videos. Thank you so much and will continue to revisit your videos during times of cravings and low motivation.

      Passing thoughts lol The thought of a cigarette doesn’t make me feel pain or discomfort. It just comes and goes, sometimes with the reminder that I am still on that journey.

    I quit for 2 years. I was miserable even that long into it. I would get such horrible cravings and rage when I'd smell a whiff of smoke... Wafting in through the window, in a passing car, on people that I came into contact with.
    Then I got fired from a job and drive around crying and smoking. I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking of quitting again. That post quitting weight gain is a bitch and I'm not here for that.

    • @HealthWink
      @HealthWink  5 лет назад +2

      That’s crazy that it was difficult for so long. I would say that you may not have that same experience on another quit. I hope you do take a shot at quitting again :)
