  • Welcome to this week's big project! For the bottom part, i used poplar and walnut wood and pine for the neck of the vase. This is my biggest vase i turned so far, it took a lot of work and time to make it, but in the end i was satisfied with the result.

    That is really amazing how that pattern turned out by simply gluing different wood together one after the other. Beautiful.

    Turned out beautiful but one thing I never understand is glueing a solid block when you are going to hollow it anyway. Why waste all the wood? Just glue up the outside and leave a square hole in the center since it’s capped on the end.

  • @Johnconno
    @Johnconno 3 года назад

    All men with too much time to waste should be given a lathe.
    This lot fart about for months while the lathe does the work.

    Приветствую.
    Слишком много хорошего материала уходит в опилки,при стачивании в радиус. Можно было сэкономить,до склейки всех брусочков,прикинуть возможный диаметр заготовки и угловые брусочки автоматом откидываются,ну и бесполезной работы меньше и экономия в материале!
    Как-то так....

      @ Влад Алексеев.
      Здравствуйте Влад. 100% согласен с вами. И уже не один комментарий оставлял по этому поводу. Создаётся впечатление, что это какой-то фетиш или такой вид садо-маза. Любят эти «мастера», чтобы по рукам побольше и посильнее по долбило, инструмент тоже не жалеют, ну и как вы сказали материал видимо тоже халявный. Я, просто в ахYе!!!

    Hello hope everyone is doing alright. Here is the story back in 1998 i have lost my right hand from the rest and injured my right leg the femur part i am lebanese living in lebanon at the moment but jusr feel like the wrong person in the wrong place. Like the lebanese gov. Doesnt really care about the 15% of the citizenc who has disability that live in the country instead of helping and giving them monthly benefits for example not $1000 but $500 at least they dont plus the law 220/2000 is not applied yet so I dont have rights to practice or enjoy like other disabiled people in other countries. I dont have my own apartment or place yet also am single and unable to have / be in a girlfriend boyfriend relationship. Also in lebanon there are 102 org's. But half of them are not legal the other half are theifes and take advantage of the disabilied. But as the size of my country in my opinion Lebanon doesnt need 102 org. Its like they made it there job and all the money they recive or donations goes to there pockets to be spent on tbem selves and we get nothing from it. I have a feeling that those org. They dont want us to have a better future or get married one day also be indepandent. So they want us to always be at our knees and beg them for help .. anyway I hope this message gets to everyone also hope you guys could help me start an indepandant organization also keep intouch and help me build an 8 level building spaceilly made to house and support about 100 guy and girl with disability also employee 150 lebanese guys and girls and which the public can also benefit from not just the disabiled. Currently am trying to design and draw that 8 level building in 2D and hopefully I get your support on that project. If you are serious and willing to help please contact me so we can talk more about it and see how and when you can be of help. Note: instead of just clicking the like botton or replying with a negative comment / saying "good luck with that" do something to help me and change the lives of others i really appriciate it.note not everyone who asks for help online should be called a scam . To chat more about it email me at abms19842021@gmail..com ...
