I'm fascinated whether there's any link with what you've spoken about and high functioning autism .. ?? the treatments we get given for our children of high functioning autism could possibly gain alot from what you include in Arrowsmith program ...
We've certainly worked with students with high functioning ASD. Every student is an individual and we consider our mutual fit on a student by student basis. Happy to have a conversation! Feel free to email us at admissions@eatonarrowsmith.com.
I haven't mastered anything yet☹️ but my teacher says I am probably going to graduate from L think this year cause I am on book G 18#5 and it is April and I started on 1#1 and Also might master phrases (on 3.0 D4#34) and clocks (on 6H computer) and based on my testing results will do r think (mild need to do it) object recognition (severe need to do it) and brocas (moderate/severe need to do it)
The program is implemented by trained Arrowsmith Program teachers, both in an online and in-person format. If you are interested in books that discuss the Arrowsmith Program, The Woman Who Changed Her Brain by the founder, Barbara Arrowsmith Young, is excellent. Also, Brain School and The Brain Pioneer by Howard Eaton, founder of Eaton Arrowsmith. Dr. Norman Doidge's The Brain That Changes Itself is fantastic as well.
Hello Rock Earle, I read that you attended the Arrowsmith program, could you answer my questions that I have about it? Does it really improve your cognitive scores on a formal IQ test?
Too bad the students did not get a lot more time to speak, also would have liked to see the exercises - they do not have to be hidden just because the instructors do not think the audience will understand them (or are there other reasons?) I skipped through the first speaker which took up more that half the video time. I guess this is really a sales pitch for a program that is Inaccessible to 99% of all people.
This is one of the most shambolic presentations I have ever seen. The presenter promises something which she does not deliver - awful. The clock exercise is never explained or properly demonstrated, so it does NOTHING to further one's understanding of what it does, how it enables someone to work better cognitively and all the rest of it. The students stand up and speak, but nothing is actualy connected to the exercise. I would give this 2 out of 10, if that. A completely wasted opportunity. You could have actually enlightened us.
Hello Ingrid! Thanks so much for your feedback. It is always a challenge to balance the intellectual property of a program and to describe its' benefits during a recorded presentation. We would be very happy to have a conversation with you in order to answer any questions that you may have about Eaton Arrowsmith and the Arrowsmith Program. Please do email us at admissions@eatonarrowsmith.com and we can carry on our conversation. Have a wonderful day! Sandra Heusel, Admissions Director, Eaton Arrowsmith
I was once a skeptic like you but I did my homework on the program because of my FEAR for my severely learning disabled son. It was my last HOPE and it more than delivered. Never in my wildest dream would I have hoped that my kid could have finished a very hard STEM program and graduated , with honors as a young adult. .. I am not trying to convince anyone. Just do your own homework and stop criticizing. I find that if parents and child work with the Arrowsmith's staff on getting the most out of program the child can get to their future destination. It is up to you. ( As a parent I was willing to move mountains and try everything to not make my son become a dependent statistic in this hard world .The program more than met our expectation. ).
@@samburns8856 You don't understand what I've said at all. I am not a skeptic of the MATERIAL they are teaching, but the PRESENTATION of it. And I don't need you or anyone else to tell me what to do. I've been a Transformation Coach for 23 years and a Superlearning Coach for around 12 years and know (a) a good presentation when I see it, and (b) how to assess content for its learning value.
@samburns8856 you mention your son graduated a stem program with honors. What is the stem related program he took take exactly? What’s he doing now a days?
I've actually met Eaton as a student.
I know you laura
@@GordonFilms Hello Kubilay.
How long were these kids in the school for? part time or full time? Thanks.
How can you help your child if they don't live in an area providing Arrowsmith?
We now have online programs! eatonarrowsmith.com/online-classes-and-programs-for-learning-disabilities-kids-teens-adults-or-professionals
