Hey guys- long time no see. James’ crew redid the driveshafts for my 95 Hummer in the pic to the left way back like 10 years ago. Still prefect but the sticker is kinda worn off! Haha. First used Adam’s for work in the late 90’s. Honest guys with best materials and never ripped people off. How do I know? For a few years I became a Mac tools guy and their shop was one of my many stops. Tool guys learn quickly which shops do shotty work or dishonest things. James runs a top level shop for parts and repairs- never once saw them wrong someone. See ya- Will
Thank you for doing this. I am having your SYE kit with your drive shafts, front and rear installed as we speak on my 90 yj. Thank you for the links. Ill be getting the grease and gun attachment. I actually have a Lucas grease gun too. Lol. I hear nothing but great things about your company. When my installer told me they were using you guys I was pleased. Thanks again and God Bless.
Just did front and rear driveshafts. Much better than the crappy RC one the PO used. Tj with four inch lift and 33 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Boss now rides like a rental car. Sweet. 👍👍
I just got my rear drive shaft I’ve been running the 1310 adams in the front of my jk for over a year with no issues. But I don’t care for a moly grease in a bearing application , lost a lot of carrier bearings in loaders using it
Great Show! I look forward to the next installment! I am currently in the middle of upgrading my 2001 TJ Sport with a 4" Lift and a SYE and once everything is installed I will measure for a new rear driveshaft. I am buying one from you guys! But I clicked on your link to Shaeffer's Grease and it is not currently available, is there another source or a complete description so I can substitute it with another that you recommend? Thank you Guys!
Hi Mark, Thanks for the compliment! Let us know when you're ready and we'll get you taken care of. The link to the grease has been refreshed and is good to go now.
I have a 95 wrangler installing a 4” lift ordered my slip yoke eliminator need the double cv driveshaft but was told awhile back the shaft that goes to the yoke end is a 1333?
I can see the CV grease point but I can't get the needlepoint grease tip on it to push grease into it when installed. Do I have to unbolt the flange to grease this CV grease point?
@@AdamsDriveshaft It is very tricky. Tried twice with flat grease fitting at different angles and never could get the grease needle tip to stick. Grease just went past the fitting.
Would the moly grease that RCV brands be acceptable in your opinion for the drive shaft? I have used it in everything else on my Jeep and it does really well on everything sofar. Ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings.
@@AdamsDriveshaft Ok, I appreciate that it's not some special brand that you guys require. RCV axles do that but in their defense, it's some seriously good grease. Synergy does it too but I don't think their special grease is really any better than a tube of mobile 1 high temp Molly. Especially for $50 a tube.
Hi Sean, Thanks for the support! We grease our driveshafts during the build stage, so it's ready for install as soon as you receive it. Let us know if you have any other questions, we're always happy to help!

Video is very informative 👌
Is it just one zerk fitting for the rear 1310 solid CV?

Just had these installed, front and rear on my JKU. Do you have any videos of doing this on an actual Jeep? Thanks, great video
Well, I’m on my third Adams drive shaft and this is the first time I’ve ever seen this video. Would of been nice to know this before
Wow, great video. Great instructions and well made, rare for automotive videos these days
Thanks, we really appreciate the feedback!

@@AdamsDriveshaft Will do.
I've been using the 283 grease on my jeeps/trucks and Adams shaft. Cool to see you guys use it too!

Jeeps and whiskey. The perfect combination

Can you grease the cv needle zerk with the driveshaft installed or do you need to drop it when servicing?
You can grease it while it's installed, but we recommend taking it out, so you can move the grease back and forth over the splines on the slip yoke.

If it's a factory yoke, it should be a 1330 series.
I can see the CV grease point but I can't get the needlepoint grease tip on it to push grease into it when installed. Do I have to unbolt the flange to grease this CV grease point?
It's easiest if you do, but it's possible to reach that fitting installed, it's a little tricky and needs to be at just the right angle.

As long as it's high temp, high pressure, you should be good to go.

What kind of grease are you using for your hair?
How can I access the zerk fitting on the cv end while in a Jeep JL? Looks like I have to remove the shaft?
Damn! My dealer never told me about that flat zerk!
Hi Gary, Just make sure you keep it greased(put some in now that you know), and you should be good to go.
