The police in the US are more an occupying force that exists mainly to dominate over the weak. So when something actually serious comes up they don't have the motivation to actually do something about it.
One of the girls who called about 11 to 13 times kept saying we need cops here we're being shot, we're being killed and the dispatcher kept telling her the cops are there, the cops are there already. It was when she saw the cops who picked up their own children and then left everybody else at the school that she broke down crying because all hope for being rescued was gone. She thought the police would save her and the police only went in to grab their own children and they left every other child there to die.

The protocol of having the kids sit under their desk makes no sense. The goal should be to empty out the school as quickly as possible. The protocol should be to open the windows and run as far from the school as you can.
On the surface, that sounds like a plan. Unfortunately, 600 children running and screaming at the same time has the potential to cause even more harm to the children. Simply for the fact that some kids will be trampled in the chaos. And then imagine trigger happy fxxking cops with 600 children rushing them.
It is an absolutely ridiculous protocol that we abandoned ages ago in Europe. They initially (1950s, when our grandparents were young) used to tell kids the same because they thought that telling people to stay put will result in less casualties because of the mayhem that ensues if everyone flees randomly. Instead, drills now focus on the following: Identify the point of danger and act accordingly. If the danger comes from the hallway, line up the kids in front of the windows and let them exit through there. If it comes from outside, let the kids line up and exit through the exit furthest away from the scene. Also, our emergency drills focus on fires. School shootings basically never happen - because we aren’t stupid enough to give people guns.
Why have they never told us how many people were wounded? This is the FIRST time I have heard that there was another teacher shot!! He's lucky. He could have bled out so easily, like some of the children did. How the HELL is he ever going to deal with having to listen to all his kids get killed?? He doesn't need to ask for forgiveness. He couldn't move. It was better for him to survive, to tell us what really happened and use his life to make sure this never happens again! If he hadn't been shot, you can bet he would have tried to stop the shooter.
There were early reports of the number of wounded, it’s probably not hard to find an update. I think that number is falling to the reporting wayside because there just weren’t that many. These were ten year olds shot up close with a rifle. Very few are going to survive being hit.
Those cops who did absolutely nothing should be locked up in prison for the rest of their lives for the lives that have been lost there is no excuse and they deserve no forgiveness I agree with the teacher.
When he said he lost every single student in his class 💔 … The only reason he survived and his kids didn’t is because he is an adult that has a higher chance of surviving those bullet wounds. No fault of his own whatsoever. So incredibly heartbreaking.

Exactly that’s what I thought! If the shooter hadn’t taken any shots and the cops could see they were scared/mentally unstable and were trying to calm them down before they did anything then that’s fine, but if the shooter has already shot and killed dozens of children then the cops should’ve done everything in their power to prevent the death of another innocent. Those children were not just shot - many of them were decapitated by the firepower of the AR-15 rifle. The exit wounds were HUGE & as Matthew McConnaughey pointed out, the children had to be identified using DNA or shoes/clothing. Their little bodies were torn to shreds & the mortuary cosmetologist needed help RESTORING the bodies for the funerals.
Man really good teachers love their kids and I can't imagine losing 11 of them. And it's something disturbing about telling him to "get up" after 11 kids in a room are dead and he's been shot bleeding out. Where he was shot is the only reason he's not dead. It feels like they arent too happy he survived for some reason 🤔

Two good things can come out of this. One, this will be a potent point for police reform for decades. Let them even peep once about exceptionalism, this can always be held over their heads. Two, this happened in a red state. A clear example for conservatives that traditional values, bile thumping, a cannon in every pocket, and “a good guy with a gun on the premises” does precisely jack shit.

On the surface, that sounds like a plan. Unfortunately, 600 children running and screaming at the same time has the potential to cause even more harm to the children. Yeah, even if they get shot when running it's better than being a sitting duck
@@talyahr3302 it's a lot harder to shoot a moving target than sitting ducks

What no one is talking about is how even with this being a common ,getting teachers better pay more respect and dignity. he should be able to retire and seek help and heal god bless him
He said “that family lost one and that family lost one but I lost 11” no teacher should ever have to have the guilt of 11 kids you felt responsible for be taken at no fault of your own. Yet we all just sit in our comfy homes and watch it all happen on our fancy screens smh 🤦🏾♂️
Edit: when I was in school for shooter drills we crouched in a corner used the desks as shields and turned off the lights we only hid under desks for tornado drills? That too seems concerning
This proves the officer in charge willingly and knowingly allowed those children to die. He knew they were alive and asking for help he knew they were calling and he did nothing. Now he hides and hopes we forget what HE did! That city councilman needs to be recalled and charged with criminal negligence and obstruction of justice by not allowing the other officers to do their job!
my prediction is: Nothing will change.
Jesus, that was heart-wrenching…
Bless this courageous truth teller. Bless the families of those murdered children and teachers who died while swine *stood down.*
Hopefully he doesn't get pulled over and murdered unarmed at a routing traffic stop cause he made the officers "fear for their lives".
Cop 1 "They're killing the hostages"
Cop 2 "That's dumb. Then he won't have any hostages left."
They wanted to talk?!? 🤬 Where were these cops when Tamir Rice or John Crawford III were shot? The cops showed up guns blazing then but when there's an active shooter in the school suddenly they want to break out the walkie talkies, cookies and milk?
I pray for this guy. I hope he can get through all that traumatic memory.
I agree, it was very, very tough to watch! Arnulfo Reyes and all the parents, talk about experiencing hell during that horrible, horrible massacre. 😭😭
When he said i lost 11 that day...as a teacher that really hits hard...i see all my students as my children and that thought of something like this happenig to them i can't even begin to explain how it would feel.
Maybe now the COP loving public will understand that the enforcement arm of the government are NOT under any obligation to protect the public as per the Supreme Court. The gun grabbers are looking in the wrong direction. Any one of those Fathers on scene would have taken a firearm in to room 112, without hestitation...they ARE true cowards allowing that madman to keep going for an hour and SEVENTEEN minutes....rot in hell
More guns means more mass shootings. Your "solution" makes the problem worse.
@Peter Merkin Cool story lady. Yes let a bunch of armed civilians rush into a school at once. No problems there! The cops are cowards and the kid should’ve never had the gun in the first place. Go hug your gun and say hi to your mother for me.
Forgiveness is highly overrated.
Yup, narcissistic occupation.
Thanks!
god this is so heartbreaking i can't believe people are willing to just let more kids die for their agenda
It shouldn't surprise you. Leaders build their power and wealth on suffering and death. Just look at our Healthcare system.
*”for their agenda”*
You mean the “agenda” of not giving up our own “rights” so that a tyrannical and insane government cannot get even more powerful?
How about stop letting yourself be so emotionally manipulated by bullsh*t such as “a major event supposedly happened where kids supposedly died”?
@@NewNormalWorldOrder It's so quiet that you can hear a pin drop... a gentle breeze envelops you... the wind becomes a soft voice... loooooooossssseeeeerrrr...
@@-Lotek-The-B0T-ASSASS1N
Yes I agree.
Anyone who goes along with mainstream news, anyone who lets themselves be so manipulated by the screen and by the “latest event,” anyone who refuses to relentlessly question all of reality, etc, etc… is a big fat LOSER.
I agree.
The fact that there are more guns in USA than people is scary.
Conservatives are probably gonna call him a groomer
Nope! Just his replacement teacher is going to be put through training with his/her firearm issue.
They'll probably accuse him of being an illegal immigrant as well.
@@iceman1833 Lol, I love that America's such a wanton shitpile that we're unironically considering arming schoolteachers, training teachers to fight and risk death.... Because apparently America's law enforcement is such dogshit and your country is such a culturally bankrupt mess that you need to trust literally any rando with a gun to protect your kids over the people whose ACTUAL job that is.
Since when it is the teacher's job to be capable of taking lives? Are they getting a pay increase in addition to taking the police's entire job list from them, with the exception of "Federal Government Thug" duties?
Why does the teacher have to be expected to fight an die at the same time America's making every possible excuse for cops to NOT do that? Cops signed up for this shit, make THEM do the job they signed up for.
Does every babysitter in America also need to take a crash course in SERE and have at least served one deployment with the Marine Corp on top of that just to watch a toddler? Is That how far gone we are now?
Cant wait for that to go over well. I’m sure putting a loaded gun in a room full of kids will have 0 consequences. It’s what all other civilized countries do!
Oh… wait…
@@iceman1833 Yes, add more guns. Great idea. What if teachers start killing kids? Then we've got to give all the kids guns too. Then we have to talk about the legal age for owning tactical nuclear weapons.
Nightmare. Playing dead while hearing these children being shot and slaughtered around him. Lord have mercy.
The cops should be fired for their inaction, and charged for lying
This is beyond words. To truly listen to what happened is beyond my comprehension.
He'll never live again, he'll merely exist
My mom was a teacher. We're getting the house ready to sell. I came across a memorial card for one of her students, I saw the picture and handed it to her. I didn't recognize it, she said that she had died of cancer. It had been nearly 30 yrs and I knew her name instantly. Teachers care about their kids. I can't imagine losing 11, with no mental preparations/grieving, all at once like that.
