Imagine you're the Warriors GM..What would you do?
Everyone wants to ask which players do they get rid of... Maybe they should be looking at Kerr. Every time W's have a hot hand they inexplicably bench them, and he constantly makes excuses for Drassault Green. Trades may improve the situation, but they need someone in the middle to take the pressure of steph and clay and give them some heat in the paint. But kerr is so obsessed with playing perimeter and veterans that he fails to overlook the fact they need a new system. So... Don't rebuild, switch up the game plan and possibly switch up the entire coaching system.
I was confused when you said that they could get something for Andrew Wiggins. Even the most optimistic Warriors fans are saying that they need to pay to get rid of Wiggins. Were you just saying that for dramatic effect for the video? Because virtually anyone who watches basketball looks at Wiggins as being one of the worst, if not the worst contract league in the league my friend.
As much as Jordan Poole gets crapped on, he was only following what Curry was allowed to do and added a few things. I'm curious how any changes to the lineup would work if Curry is allowed to freelance the way he does. Even if Kuminga, Moody and the other players get mire time or turnover the roster occurs or a new coach comes will Curry be able to change his game. Will the players be able to replicate what the championship players did to great success?
Reboot the franchise and start off fresh
A trade I can see for the warriors is them trading Wiggins, Klay, Draymond. and picks to the lakers for Anthony Davis, and Austin Reeves. If they do this they can have starting line up with cp3, Curry, AR15, Saric, and Davis.
Klay isn't thinking logically and is comfortable moping around; not judgment, its human. He just needs to learn to play with his limitations, he's not the first to lose a few steps. It takes adjustment
Really good video! Just subscribed! ❤
If you gonna trade anybody, trade Wiggins. He lost his best friend in Poole and he looks at the organization different now because of their lack of action against Draymond for throwing the punch. Sad to see him go but since that punch ......
Yeah the fact the warriors are still trying to keep “the big 3” is sad
@@DevilsHiddenSonthey have to do what steph wants and steph def wants big 3 to stay together
Yuup. His bestie is gone and Draymond is a maniac
Draymond got punished tho…
@@DevilsHiddenSon it’s not sad, its not even a big 3 anymore, it’s just team formation at this point. If they cared for a big 3 they wouldn’t have signed CP.
Honestly, them 3's that Klay has been jacking up this year were far more ridiculous than them 3's he jacked up when he was healthy.
True and he still does it. Like the last game…instead of his passing for the best shot with 40sec left on the clock he jacks a three…bricks it and the other team scores on the other end.
@@iamtheonlywilly I feel that these crazy 3's he's been jacking up this season...hell...I even doubt if prime Klay would be able to make these shots consistently...
In 2013 the Warriors traded their most popular player and top scorer and, a few months later, fired the coach who had just led them to the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time in league history and then benched their first All-NBA player they'd had in two decades. I'm not saying this is the same situation but it sort of rhymes.
Losing Mike Brown and Andre Iguadala really hurt this Warriors Team Emotionally Spiritually from a Leadership and Coaching Aspect
The warriors should bring those players back to the warriors and trade Klay Thompson and Draymond green for them. Because Draymond green and Klay Thompson are washed up.
@@teddybear6949 iggy retired... and mike brown isnt even a player......
@@teddybear6949 you clearly don't know what you're talking about, mike brown isnt even a player, and iggy is retired due to age and even if you were to bring him back he's way out of his physical prime and wouldn't be able to do anything.
Green punching Poole was the start of the end.
The Warriors need to rebuild after clearing salary cap this year.
i would say calling KD a b*tch, and last ring was a fluke
that Thanasis remark lmao
I think you nailed almost everything and I don't disagree with any of you takes, but I'd also think it's important to be mentioned that Kerr has been making some questionable rotation decisons that have also lead to the current outcome. There's clearly somethng wrong with Wiggins and a few games into the season that was pretty clear, but Kerr insisted on leaving him n the starting 5 for a pretty long stretch. You also have Looney, who's clearly underperforming and being inconsistent and despite the pretty good display we've seen from Trayce Jackson-Davies, he's still being held down to low minutes.
Now, while I don't think that guys like Trayce and Podzenski are the ultimate solution for the warriors struggles, they do seem like they could be helping the team more if they were being better utilized and becoming a stronger component of the rotation, which is why I think a bit of responsability here needs to be also pointed at Kerr and his decisions. I understand that the veterans have earned a bit wiggle room, but at some point there needs to be a difference between that and being sutbborn and stuck in the past.
The video was good but how is no one talking about the clean ass transition at the start?
And Steve Kerr has to re-examine his coaching style & the offensive/defensive schemes around the league. Also his reaction time when the Warriors begin losing a big lead. After 9 years the league has evolved to bigs, wings & other players who can shoot 3-pointers accurately.
GSW was a deadly 3 point shooting team, but last years ALL NBA teams are 3 point shooting teams.. They all adapted, don't you see how crazy the scores get?
3 years ago you almost never see a game with 240+ points. Now every day there is at least 1 game where that happens.
80 points in Q1, 70 points in Q2. Man previous, you only saw scores like that in ALL STAR games...
I forgot Chris Sell on their team. Scott Foster putting the Warriors in a swisher sweet.
Maybe stop shooting 40 ft jumpers and bring it in a liitle bit. I'm sure that would bring the shooting percentages up a bit.
I agree but they are so small they can’t even get inside the 3.
I agree with trades but trades won’t guarantee a spot in the playoffs this year. Trades will only begin a rebuilding process for next season. The GSW have to decide if they want to risk potentially making the play in tourney for trades. It so up in the air right now.
the league needs some good solid bigs right now
How will we know? You gonna tape it?!?
They won't work well as long as they treat their young guys as simple bench role players instead of their possible future. And they should accept that their previous stars aside from steph should now be the bench.
They won’t work as long as they have a crappy roster. They have 5 point guards 4 shooting guards 3 small forwards and 2 centers with one being insanely out of shape
I mostly agree, but as often, the issue is Draymond (and this time in a "good" way for him), what he brings to the table as a playmaker forward can't be replaced by the current young guys, and that role is way too useful in a Curry centered system as it allows him to move off ball, while also having a 2nd guard who chan shoot and take advantage of Currys gravity for easy catch&shoots.
@@Iqnacio.they need to get rid of looney wiggs moody Cory Joseph and either cp3 or podz and get a star player or really good center. They have no variety in skill so they can’t make any meaningful adjustments when the whole roster dose the same thing. Looney can hardly dunk and is not a shot blocker.
@@isaiahwolf5904 Mmmm kinda imo, Wiggs would hurt me for what he did for us in 22, but I have no trust in him getting back to that level with us anymore, so I'm 100% willing to trade him.
I'm with you on Cory Joseph (no idea why we brought him to begin with) and Moody (seems to want out and is good enough to be a trade piece for a better fit). Looney I think can fill the minutes at the 5 as long as TJD is the starting one and we can get another 5 (or a 4/5 combo player, so that Saric can play most if not all of his minutes as a 4 where he plays way better), cause he knows the system, can mentor TJD in it and can provide rebounds and size when TJD sits.
Podz I wouldn't trade unless it's absolutely necessary in a really good trade, the dude fits and plays his role too well for a rookie, plus he seems to love playing with Steph which helps the chemistry a lot, can defend well and isn't small for his position (three things that we really need), CP3 I have doubts, I absolutely would trade him if we need his contract to match a deal, but if we can keep him for cheap next season I think what he brings can help us a lot as a 2nd/3rd PG and mentor to Podz.
But what I think it's important to look at is Klay and Dray, I really wouldn't like to trade Klay but he needs to go if he's not willing to play a smaller role (and especially if he's not willing to take a cap-friendly contract), and Draymond... idk, I would prefer to get rid of his antics or have him off the bench in a smaller role, so that his chaos doesn't sink us (again), but as I said, what he brings is so hard to find that I don't see a replacement.
@@Iqnacio. he’s a defensive forward not a playmaking forward, they added CP for playmaking so that curry could shoot more efficiently.
Curry has said it himself. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expect different results. I think he pretty much gave the green light to blow it up.
It pains me to watch Klay. He’s my favorite Warriors, but now he’s just so angry and bitter.
I personally would like to see KD back with the core three and win it again in their 30’s. I think that would be a great last dance. That’s just my personal wish. I know it ain’t gonna happen, but the storyline would be for the ages.
Yk why Klay is angry and bitter? Because 1, he’s a human being. Everyone’s acting like he’s so selfish which he’s NOT. 2, reporters are always on his ass asking stupid ass questions about his contract and always trying to ruin his confidence. THIS IS TRUE. That’s one of the reasons why he said he doesn’t care that the crowd was booing him. The fans are ungrateful. Klay should automatically get a contract extension for what he’s done for us and last year he had career highs all around because he had a good team around him just defensively they were terrible. Same as this year. Except they don’t have chemistry which is why Klay isn’t performing at his best because he’s a catch and shoot player not a ball handler.
You're talking about LAST Year, this Year he is not good at all.
Yeah he had a few up's but mostly down's.
He's not playing Basketball since only yesterday so he definitely knows how to handle shitty Reporters and Haters, so that's a lame excuse.@@basketball4life839
i mean . its possible . question is how much will it cost.
they could trade wiggens , Podziemski, Kuminga , looney (or some form of package there )
and / or picks .
(payton and cp3 to suns is unlikely - thou not imposible)
question is would GSW risk to get KD . this isnt like last time when he joined championship team
and would they even want to.
is more likely they will trade green and/or Klay
also even with kd , i doubt they can beat nuggets (just my honest opinion )
if Klay doesnt improve and if Green goes out for punching Europeans again
KD CP3 and curry wont win it alone against denver .
@@caf3in323 simply because they have no dominant bigs to go against Jokic
Lebron is Insanity, current lakers are using the small ball lineup from 2013 heat.
This is the most expensive roster in team sports. (> $334 million!!!) Best believe big moves are coming.
8:29 IMO Dunleavy needs to learn from Horst. Horst didn't tell Giannis that he was trading Jrue for Dame, and I think Dunleavy should also keep Curry in the dark for trade talks regarding Klay and Dray. There's just too much bond between those three for Curry to make that decision.
I’d say Kerr needs to be looked at. He’s still running that old system that does not work. He has been lucky a few times by having good shooters to save him. Teams having gotten bigger and faster but he still prefers guards.
Kerr is definitely the main issue here!
He’s not trading them away, no way. But klay really needs to understand that he’s not the same and play better
I really do wonder whats up with wiggins
I got a feeling they gon rebuild around steph and trade everyone
Haha that cannot be more correct.
It’s what they need to do
Steph will not play that well if they do that. He has great chemistry with Klay and Draymond. If they do that, they aren’t going anywhere. Steph will average career lows if that happened. So think clearly because Klay and Draymond are going to be warriors for life whether you like it or not.
They should. Curry can adapt to anyone. Watch games with KD, Bron, Giannis etc playing with Curry. He needs a fresh team.
@@basketball4life839 curry doesn’t need them tho, he needs promising players for the future and he needs to step up and become a mentor for them at the same time, much like Bron does to his team. Bron’s shifted his entire playstyle into playmaking first.
Please just make the tough but right decisions 😭 don’t let Steph go out like this
Since the punch happened Warriors ain't the same, Poole ain't the same, Warriors will have to see until Draymond exposes himself again and self destruct once more with the team being the collateral damage.
What I’ve noticed is that the only reason why the Warriors are out of the Play offs is because NO ONE IS PASSING TO STEPH I MEAN YOU HAVE TEAMMATES MAN
I have heard a lot of people say
Pascal Siakam is perfect for ______ insert preferred team. What amazes me is how many teams have been mentioned who aren't the best fit for him. You have to factor in what you must give up, the age of said player, and the fact that he can walk away.
the fact that Klay is shooting 8.8 3PA per game and is hitting on 38.7% of them is still ELITE in the NBA.
it's crazy to think about, honestly. he just needs to stop taking midranges and take more shots near the rim
All dynasties "age out" eventually. Other teams get stronger, faster, taller and younger.
I feel like they gonna do last dance this season and go blow it up next season by trading everyone except curry
1:43 -- The big three are older and cannot keep up with the fast pace of the NBA. Plus, the Dubs do not have a great bench anymore.
Clay hitting the last phase like Kobe when he'd shoot his team outta wins
I trade klay if he won’t sign a team friendly extension, I am open to trading dray but I think what he brings is still serviceable. I trade Chris Paul and klay and moody for a 3-4 that can play five we have not been the same team since we lost kd . The best thing about having kd was we could have him play the 5 at times and it opened open opportunities for klay and Steph. If you don’t want to blow it up I like the warriors to trade for Jermai grant only guys I don’t want trade are trace Davis and kuminga and pods if possible pods o trade him if k had to but I think his ceiling his higher than moody
I mostly agree with you, I think Moody is the young guy to trade if needed, Podz seem to be a better fit and way more accepting of a "smaller" role (the dude really seems to love to play with Steph and the locker room needs that chemistry).
On the other hand we can't afford to keep Klay if he's not on a very friendly deal cause we need that salary for a reliable 2nd star who can give us around 20PPG, if we can keep him for cheap, by all means do so as a core member of the dynasty and a veteran scorer from the bench that can give us around 12PPG and a scorching hot game here and there, if he's not willing to accept that, thanks for his service but it's time to move on.
I think Moody, Wiggs (although It's a shame for what he did in 22) and CP3 are our main trade pieces, I would be open to get a scorer who plays the 2-3 as long as he's not small for his position (like Lavine... maybe), cause I think the scoring is needed and the market for 4-5s (or 3s who can play that bigger) that could provide that is way smaller, but we still need a 4-5 to fill the minutes in the rotation.
Draymond tho... man it's an issue, what he provides as a playmaker forward is too useful to a Curry centered system, but his defense is not what it used to be and with size being an issue that's a problem, plus his antics are as bad as we all know, the thing is it would be so hard to find someone else who can fulfill that role that I don't see how we can move on from him or send him to the bench.
@@Iqnacio. as a polish person i keep telling u guys Podziemski has rly cool name (means underground)
to replay to ur point . GSW doesnt care for cap . they will buy that championship if they can. so i disagree klays contract is not an issue .
they pay more for their roster then clippers with 3 mvps . i lowkey like that about GSW no bitching about money like some other teams
@@Iqnacio. what do you think the price is for Zion I feel like he be a great fit for us as a 5 image step Wiggins kuminga dray Zion lineup with trace and cris Paul ,Dario pods off the bench
other vets should let and trust more the young guns and maybe trade wigs for somebody like siakam or some big man who can defend and get the ball to the hoop
KD should join the Warriors the last time now that they’re much older. No one can complain nowadays. A great last dance.
I’d be fine with that if green is gone. He is scared of any threats to his dominance.
I think Steph is feeling what Kobe felt during his last few years with the Lakers. Just bunch of bs and low weak minded people with no skills or heart
One bad season wont break a great. But two will. And that great that needs to prove himself again very soon is steve kerr
I don't get why chuck and perk seem to have always had it out for the warriors
20/20 vision bro. the uninvolved always have the clearer picture
The attitude of the entire team needs to change. They're generally not consistently exerting effort to rebound, defend, avoid fouls & shoot well to the best of their ability from one game to the next. They're not communicating well on court either. They're not consistently playing with burning ambition, desire, grit, will or fire. Curry has to address that if he wants an effective, supportive crew. Because if they even played just with consistently great desire & energy alone, they wouldn't be losing as many games as they have.
Will it be huger than Marvin bagley for Mike muscala
Why did we not sign dwight🤦♂️
Because he has SA allegations
Maybe because he tried to touch people in the locker room. SA much?
All these media people and people consuming it all like headless chickens. Im a boston fan, and ive been closely watch gsw games, people dont realize the gsw have marred with suspensions and injuries yet have been 96% of games close games with out a complete team aince the start of the season, the fact that warriors have top 3 bench in the league makes me uneasy, if warriors gets into the playoffs il be sorry for all these teams taking them lightly and ignoring all the hurdles they are going through so far.
TRADE THESE GUYS.. EMBRACE THE FUTURE
Its hard playing 5 on 8
They’ve almost become a victim of the league they created. Steph is still the best shooter in the world, but as Klay declines the shooting gap between GSW as a whole and the rest of the league is basically non existent.
unless Draymond returns as a new man ( ), i don't see another ring in the future with this core. ergo, Steph will quit after this season, together with Klay and Draymond, and Steve Kerr. 4 rings is not nothing you know.
Not fun watching great teams get old you never think the stars grow old but one day you wake up and it's 10 years later
Nothin' is gonna gappen. So...
Warriors receive: Reaves, Prince, '26 First Round Pick, '27 Second Round Pick
Lakers receive: Curry, Wiggins
MAKE IT HAPPEN :)
Look who’s talking
People will probably hate me for this, but many complaining about curry. But 90% it's him who go crazy at the end and win it.
They really miss KD tbh.
*Imagine* now this, KD & Jokic to GSW. Then it was done.
People complaining about Chris Paul, but he actually decent.
& i agree with everything you said.
Perkins & Barkley are two big men that have been hating on the Warriors for a while
Why are people surprised? All dynasties come to an end. You can't just win every single year in perpetuity. Really strange how everyone is behaving like this is some kind of anomaly. It's not. Players age, they fall off. Even Lebron will fall off one day.
LeLakers falling off right now due to his old lineup usage.
One day? Dude fell off 3 years ago.
why is kendrick always the guy who clowns himself?
Both Klay and Dray have been letting the outside noise this year get to them and who could blame them. You win 4 championships, you were 1/3rd of the core of a dynasty and now they're talking about getting rid of you? I think Klay's shooting and Drays antics are both mental because the outside noise and if they survive the trade deadline we'll see the Warriors go back to their winning ways. I don't see Steph ever signing off on getting rid of Klay or Dray.
so warriors need to care about every single year, that Dray and Klay dont act all diva because of some rumours about them being washed up?
Can’t imagine GS w/o Klay... Dray is outta control, but who else brings drive like that? Wish he could control himself...
steph is struggling, cause he is taking crazy shots to try and hold them together. Klay has been doing a lot better the last few games. They really need one true athletic big- 3 fours, playing at the 5.
Retain the big 3 then go big
la doesnt want old ass green
Crazy this is probably the only team ever in Nba History that has gone through something like this.
Where the core players have won so much together. Are still together. But now they are not winning
It would be crushing to fans to see the Warriors trade Klay and Dray
They are the next two biggest pieces in their created dynasty.
But Steph is the Leader.
Its his Team.
It probably urks him but he has to get another Superstar if he wants that 5th chip.
The West is Stacked.
It will definitely be interesting to see how it plays out with this Team in the coming year.
we have reached the comment section. lets see what the experts think.
Brother 2 years. Warriors
I sure hope this is true. Dray needs to go.
Nah, I just saw the Warriors thrash the Bulls like they were a D3 team. They have many many extra gears they will switch on closer to the playoffs. No need to go crazy now.
Here’s some more copium 🍵
You keep saying that but they're losing to bad teams and getting blown out by good ones. Also, Draymond will certainly get suspended with 15 games😂
doesn't even look like they'll qualify for playoffs
If the warriors want any chance at winning again they will trade every peice they have for another star to play alongside Steph and signing good role players this offseason
I dont think any other team would take draymond unfortunately 😅
I would love Chris Paul to Spurs, to teach Wemby. He needs a veteran PG
If Draymond is traded to the Lakers. The NBA will literally allow him to use weapons on defense.
Curry is good dude 🏀
Belive me or not they need a all star Center. And they'll be good.😊
GoldenSt: Chris Paul, Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II, Kevon Looney a 2026 and 2029 1st pick and a 2028 pick swap...
Lakers: Lebron, Gabe Vincent🤔🤔🤔
easiest for them is for all of em 3 stars take a paycut to bring in another big name lmao that's if they're really serious to win
New coach. That’s all They need. So much talent, coached horribly
Gsw don’t need to worry new starting line up of Steph klay dray kuminga tjd will run rampant
Watch the defence clamp
Watch curry come back to life
No one is taking draymond
The big 3 will all retire warriors unless someone gives klay 30ms this offseason.
Dubs won't trade Cp3, need his contract to come off books to get under luxury tax apron. Wiggins and Looney are their best trade assets. Dray will be their best trade asset come summer. It'd be rash to trade him now. They'd like to resign Klay to a modest contract and they'd have to take back a bad contract in a trade.
I expect a lot of nothing to happen until this season is over.
Trade Wiggins, Cp3 and 2 1st round picks for Turner and Heild
Best option.
Thank god you’re not part of the management
imo they made a mistake trading jp
Small ball now of this days is not effective because of Bigs 😏
Kendrick Perkins is never right about anything basketball related!
Why they aleays want to trade guys after signing them to a big contract? They should've traded Draymond after the Poole incident. After last season everyone should have been on the chopping block except Steph.
Wiggins klay and dray… 2/3 of them need to go it’s too many under performers on the roster klay probably has the most value out of all of them but id probably keep him give more minutes to kumbucket and get solid role players that have shown consistency not potential
Dramond is a liability. Never been able to control his emotions.
The league loses (more) credibility to me every day that POS Green is allowed to keep playing. I wouldn’t give a dollar to have him on my team.
Dramond isn’t going to help any team in the NBA no one owes him anything
Draymond career gonna fall off a cliff hard.
My only complaint here is your error "Warriors won 🏆 the NBA title in 2021." No 👎 The Bucks won it. 50 years 🎂 since they last won 🏆 it. The Warriors won 🏆 in 2022.
Good 👍 episode 👏
when you get older you have to learn to be economical. if the warriors accept they are old. and start being smarter they can win the chip as presently constructed as long as they wake up to their present reality. they are old. they need to have flawless execution and have less fun to win. that is the price they have to pay. in essence, BETTER SHOT SELECTION!!!! more mid range js, more corner 3s, and they will win. they have to say no to long 40-footers. the 3 point line is 23.5 feet long why take shots longer than that.
3:34 warriors won in 2021? Dang I must be in the wrong timeline cuz I coulda sworn that the bucks won that year 😂
If you trade just Wiggins
But never never trade draymond klay if you trade them include curry
This 3 is the one that makes the warriors is. We need the 3 of them looney Gary Payton . Find someone big that can help them someone who can
Defend, steal and block like the kind of eguodala.
How was Andrew Wiggins and number one pig this is crazy to fall off
Imagine K D and Poole right now in the Golden State Warriors, but no Draymond was allowed to chase another title or 3 away, and who needs a guy like that on their team, Draymond is mentally challenged.
klay is shooting 38% from 3 and the world is ending?...lol.....maybe be a slump for him, but isnt the avg like 35?
The elephant in the room. Curry’s salary is hamstringing the whole franchise. Warriors can only afford bargain basement players to sign.
One crucial mistake is giving Wiggins a multi-year contract. Look at his work history. When you give him a multi-year contract he slacks off. Plain and simple. His problem is behavioral, and lacks self-motivation once the money is guaranteed. If he is in his last year he plays well. That's why you guys won the championship because; that was Wiggins last year and, he will be motivated to play hard to get big money the next year in an environment where failure is no option. The best way to solve that problem is to give him big money but only one-year contracts so he is forced to play hard every year......lol!
Bro keep him away from the Lakers
Spot on. Klay is part of the problem. Great warrior, great career, hall of famer, but he is large part of the problem. Right now, Curry surrounded by everyone on the roster below age 24, and they are better off.
They are done now. That jackass Draymond is no longer the player he was, Klay is done and Wiggins looks awful.
