Oh man, thanks so much! I also replaced my filter and still got the message which brought me here. In this hole there was a 5mm thick round pad of dust blocking this metal mesh. Vacuum works 10 times better now, THANK YOU!

This really helped! Even even claimed this error to the manufacturer and they never mentioned to clean this. Now after cleaning the filter shown in the video, the suction power is a lot better + the error report. Now Roborock S7 cleans as it was new. Thank you very much :)
Oh my goodness I could marry you. As soon as I cleaned that little bit, the change in suction power and even the sound was way better. Sounded like a functional product again! Let’s see if it keeps that way for awhile. I used a small bristle brush to clean the filter. Worked like a charm.

This is a CRAZY simple fix that has been driving me NUTZ and I am going to try it today on my S4 Max I have tried everything and all I keep getting is dirt spread everywhere but it cleans NOTHING. You are the Roborock God
Now that is some good stuf. 3 min, 1 min fix! I had on my s6 maxV now for a week this error. I thought that my filters are bad. I start to think there is a presure/vacuum senzor that may fail... Thank you man, your fix = easy fix. I have 52km2 [1087 hours] on it and still going, 3 cats and this robot is just fantastic. I was think it had enough hours and i should replace. But no, i will keep using it untl wheels fell down :D Thank you again. I use a whet tisue and clean where good that site [chamber]. It`s run now like new.
For the first time in over a year, I have peace and quiet. I can't believe all it took were 6 cotton buds and a vacuum cleaner. The hardest part of this process was deciding which thread I would use to thank you in the comments (either "I could marry you" or "you're a rockstar")!
This seems to have worked to fix the problem. The roborock help doesn't mention this ANYwhere I could find. I thought it was just a bad filter, so I bought a new one, and it immediately said filter was dirty. I was like this is impossible, it's brand new! Thank you for the solution!
Thank you soooo much! I was wondering what was wrong with my s7, it didn't clean any dirt anymore, just rolled over it and spread it evenly 😅. I changed the filter and had no clue why the device kept saying the filter is blocked. I took my 'analogue' vacuum cleaner and cleaned my robot from inside and outside and it works properly again! You just saved me the trouble and costs of taking my device to the shop to have it fixed. Great job!

Yay! This problem has been plaguing me for months. Kept buy new filters!!! OMG! Tell Roborock! they don't have this in their documentation as far as i can tell. I haven't heard the vacuum rev this high in months. FIXED!!!
This is awesome and genuinely saved me hours of work. Other tutorials that I’ve seen recommend completely taking the vacuum apart to fix this error which would’ve been overwhelming! This is simple and effective
Huge thanks from my side as well! You souls report it to the Roborock. They listen to these suggestions :) One added minimal effort tip: when you’re done with all these, use a high power vacuum cleaner to suck out everything it can, not that you’ve moved around stuff
You are a star. Even bought new filters and thought they were sub-standard. Early days but this looks like it has solved it. will also check that error frequency now.
Thank you sir for your help, I would like to say I had the same problem and when I checked the problem was not exactly there but very close, the promise was where the dust is coming in WAA BLOCKED BUY A PAPER and dust, so there was no dust coming in the dustbin, so basically I would like to remind u to check out both holes to make sure the problem is fixed. Not only does it get rid of the error, but quite logically, the suction power improves as well. I've noticed the suction power has decreased, but I was not able to prove it, was just my feeling, This solved it, you can hear it immediately, I am using the roborock most of the time on max power and the sound difference is noticable - THANK YOU!

OMG! The timing for me was unreal - I just bought a replacement filters and threw away the original one. Then I got this error and I'm like wth do I really have to buy a original filter again but no thanks to your fix. Thanks a lot! Weird that they do not tell us to clean this place.
Thanks! I wrapped a microfiber cloth around a pen and used it to clean my s7, now it works like new! Was thinking about selling it, but now I don't have to.
I would clean my entire house and be so exhausted. All I wanted was to sit down after kids went to sleep, after a shower, smoke my weed and watch a movie and have clean floors the next day. The error kept happening and I would sob in frustration like the world was playing a joke on me. You saved me! 😅

Thank you very much. I had the same error. Cleaned the filter, and had the error again. Replaced the filter because I had the error again. But the error kept coming up from the unit. Then I did what you showed in the video and now the Robot is doing wrok without the error.

Thanks so much. Used a q-tip instead but finally fixed my issue. It was driving me nuts. I washed the filter, replaced the filter, still kept getting the error. Nothing else worked.

This repair worked well. Odd design feature that there is this spot where dirt builds up and is not accessible.

Excellent tip. I had a fish around with a cocktail stick and voila! a huge piece of dust came out. Machine seems fine now.
