Absolutely, the driver doesn’t have to be noise it could be a video or image - you just need to apply the same effects and make sure the mosaic corresponds to the ascii grid

this is a great method for replicating pixels on a screen, in that case exract the red, green, and blue and replace with your own colored pixels
