- Our guest is Ami Horowitz, director of a newly released documentary film entitled "U.N. Me." The movie is a critical portrayal of the role the United Nations plays in global politics and peacekeeping. Horowitz uses the term "docutainment" to describe the type of movie he has produced and directed. I work for the UN. It's the only place I have ever worked where my bosses have asked me to not challenge evident wrongdoing. Recently, when the head of one UN Peacekeeping mission left, the senior staff held a party in celebration because he was an alcoholic, arrogant and totally useless. This was well known at the HQ.

the answer is that it is easy to say things but harder to actually stand behind ideals, and the other point is that tolerance is supposed to be the highest value, confused with freedom of speech in hope that tyrants change their minds, well, we all know how well that worked during ww2. tolerance to tyrants always spells conflict of interests.
