Wow, that was one hell of a video! Many thanks. I've been recording to a stand-alone 8-track for years and this is my first DAW ever. Much to learn. Liked and subscribed. I'll be back for more.
Thanks for this video. I'm an "older" guy whos had Logic for years, but took a hiatus from music making. Now I'm getting back into it with a new Mac, and trying to re-learn things. Your presentation has clicked with me the best, of the many on RUclips. Profesional , Concise and to the point. Keep up the great work
Dude, I totallay like your video as it helps a lot to get started. I wouldn't say I'm completely new to how a DAW works but being overwhelmed by the complexity and functionality of Logic I've never really dug into really making my own music yet (at the age of 53!) although I've played in bands since my teenage years. Your video just got me inspired and I'm curious to find out what I can do with it now. Thanks a bunch and greetings from Germany!
I’ve been using Logic for quite a while now but I appreciate this tutorial. I actually relearned some things and picked up some new ones too. Thanks….. this is pretty thorough to get me up and running again!
Good job! I'm bailing from Pro Tools for various reasons. Have a Mac mini M4 pro, so have to think it'll run Apple's Logic Pro for years to come. Thanks!
Welcome to the club of ex PT users! Logic has really come into its own in the last year with version 11, so it's a great time to pick it up. I'm really glad that my video could help you. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to cover, thanks!
Although I'm not a complete beginner, I still find a lot of good help in this video and it's worth subscribing to the channel. Maybe I'll find a lot more good help in it ... Thank you very much.
Thanks @Mopsie! That's partially why I made this video. Sometimes I even forget a couple things after not touching them for a while or if I need to reset logic for some reason. Glad it helped!
Hi, what is the recommended sample rate for the project? I mean my UAD Volt know 192khz but I just want to record a rock band or guitars/vocals what is the preferred sample rate? Thanks, Peter
48khz is the standard these days. I think I mentioned in the vid that I used to record a lot at 96, but after a lot of years of A/B'ing I've just come to settle on 48. There's people who will swear by 96... and maybe even some who swear by 192, but it's mostly a subjective argument that can send you down a rabbit hole.
Thank you for watching! Please remember to leave a comment if this video helped you 🎸🤙

Awesome! Glad my vid could help you... good luck with the creations 🎸
That was the best Logic pro introduction tutorial under 1 hour. You teach like a big bro, not as a soulless tutor. Subbed
Awesome, I'm glad you like my style! Thanks a lot for the great comment... happy new year!
