Yeah as much as I love the RG552 and RG503. Releasing the RG552 at launch for $230 with broken software and the RG503 with lackluster specs and broken software is completely unacceptable.
The RG353p and RG353V is a comfortable middle ground between the RG351 and RG552. You can play everything the RK3326 line of devices can play and more.
I own rg353p same processor as rg353v I do like the form factor of RG353V. I decided to go with Ultra because bigger screen and better processor it’s very true no 5ghz Wi-Fi but you can use dongle which isn’t bad on ultra size it’s same as super of case form factor.
Ultra? You mean the OGU right? The OGU should be powerful enough to run up to GameCube Emulation on Android. It's more powerful than the Retroid Pocket 2+ and 3.
Great video, you deserve this like! But I have a question, do lower end 2d pc games work on this thing? Games like Mega Man Unlimited which is an 8-bit fan game. Just curious since I ordered one and am wondering just what it’s fully capable of
Those are even running on a Miyoo Mini (with DosBox Pure) so I'd be very surprised if they won't run on here. Tested a LOT of old MS DOS and Win 3.x games on the Mini and everything that wasn't too fancy (aka 3D) was running pretty fine. For mouse emulation, this Anbernic is even better due to the analog stick(s).
I discovered that eventually. It's in the pull down android menu, and obviously I didn't read the manual, so I only discovered it randomly. It's not super polished, so I'd still recommend getting a dedicated front-end if you're going down the android route.
I receved my RG353 and I'm very desapointed. I just put fiew new roms on the 64GB card, and the device console no longer works. I'm tired of these machines where you have to be a computer scientist to use it.
Nah man these reviews are very specifically written and recorded for the target demographic of train hobos named Clint, and barge captains with small noses and big mustaches.
After some questionable recent releases I think Anbernic have done a great job with this one! Great review guys 👍

Finally, someone who clicks on stuff and checks it now i might buy one

@@Pridetoons Hi I meant ODROID Go Ultra
Both the RG552 and RP3 are just as powerful as each other.
Looks like a fine machine
Head phones should have been on the bottom. No sale.
Ah, I see you're a man of culture as well.
you dont have your grey model until now?
We'll have a review of that model shortly!
I think GBA looks amazing on his device even when it's set to fill the whole screen.

I'll see what I can find out.
@@zu_perler3011 I appreciate the help 🙏
I hope so, it would be cool to play the handful of great fan games but on the go

Why are there videos of GOW running well on rg353p and rg353v? Am I missing something???
God of War for PSP?
Yes. Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. I've seen videos of both of these games running quite well.
@@retrohandhelds Yes, it works on the android side of the system.
Looks nice but as soon as I pull the trigger on it they will release a metal one wit OLED screen I know it.
Just today they confirmed a metal version called the 353M, but I don't know if it has OLED 😆
@@retrohandhelds You’re joking… see I knew it, I was literally waiting two days till payday to buy it
@@pimpinken8901 haha, not joking on this one. You may be psychic 😝
Look, your ninth viewer!
This is like watching ant man review a handheld, it's great.
Great heldheld but a nightmare when I connected it to my tv
o really what issue are you facing?
Jelly as hell
I think anbernic has a built in android front end.

Hi, can this play genshin impact??
You kidding right?
Yes

Not able to play at all?
Remap the controllers
WHO ELSE IS HERE IN 2024?
Hahaha that thang is juicy
ARKOS only the best. JelOS will switch the L and R buttons
You can set jelos to 353v mode on the settings screen
Actually at the moment, stock Linux is way better than any custom OS.
My sd got corrupted cheap Chinese no name thing 😂
