A valid UAE driving license is enough for driving in Armenia .

Grab an International Driving Permit from an ATC office and get your UAE license translated into Armenian.
Make sure your UAE license has at least a year's life left, and remember, local third-party car insurance is mandatory.
Brush up on Armenian traffic rules (signs are mostly in Armenian and Russian!),
and drive defensively, especially outside the city. With these steps, your Armenian driving adventure will be smooth sailing

we booked a rent a car online for 650 Dirhams, insurance was not covered, if any scratch 500dirhams will charge per scratch, so we took a full cover insurance from their office for extra 450 dirhams except tires, it includes full body insurance, road side assistance if needed, third party liabilities & parking free anywhere in Armenia..
