Great to see more of your blog again. I hired a boat for the first time last year and watched all your clips before my trip and they were a great help. Looking forward to getting back to Carrick in July :)
Beautiful! Glad to see you both made it through the winter safely and got some work done on the boat as well. Can't wait for the next video - down Lough Ree to Leecarrow perhaps?
well done guys for showing our beautiful country at it's best even with all thats going on yes grab every spare moment love the camera work ps and the guinness 🍷🛶
Great video as always guys. Love the intro. Also I am liking the mooring spot in Tarmon nice and sheltered. Hopefully we get out on the river this year.
Great to see you both finally back on the river again Hopefully restrictions will improve soon and you can look forward to more journies during the summer!
fantastic, been waiting ages for you to upload, that clock countdown was epic. #shakedown. one thing i missed the most in September last year, was tied up in a marina and in the pub with other boaters. #10degrees.
@@DriftwoodBoatBlog holding you to that spin, i will probably miss this year, all things considered. planning 2022 as we speak that isnt the shannon. keeping it QT
Thanks for all the videos. You inspired me to finally get a boat on the water this year after years of debating the idea. Picked up a Semaster 30 at a good price that needs a bit of TLC but it floats and the engine runs! Maybe I'll see ye on the water over the season! My seamaster has the aft cabin removed so I don't think there's too many of them around!
Great to see you on the Shannon again! Google Street View shows a way around Termonbarry Lock via the Royal Canal and Camlin River. Is the Clondara Lock on this route also closed?
@@DriftwoodBoatBlog Yeah, honestly I don't think they were ever right after they were put in. I hope it doesn't drag out and impact the season, however short it ends up being!
Great to see you back 👍⚓
Cheers Raymond, great to be back 👍

Hi, Nice to see a bit of normality returning.
Sure is, hopefully we'll see a lot more normality returning shortly.
Great to see you on the Shannon again! Google Street View shows a way around Termonbarry Lock via the Royal Canal and Camlin River. Is the Clondara Lock on this route also closed?
Thanks Drew, ye all the locks are closed for the time being. Hopefully they'll open next month 🤞
They only replaced the gates in that lock a couple of years ago, didn't they?
Hi Doug, ye I was talking to one of the engineers and apparently the collar has pulled out of the stonework. Seems to be quite a job to fix it.
@@DriftwoodBoatBlog Yeah, honestly I don't think they were ever right after they were put in. I hope it doesn't drag out and impact the season, however short it ends up being!
Least we'd be able to by-pass by going up the Camlin. It's the only lock on the system where there is an alternative route 👍
