@@Ja_898nairOf course xD. I love the EATEOT album. I tried my best to not include a lot of the samples that were used in EATEOT in this playlist as I could, and spent a lot of time searching through other 1920s/30s songs to use instead. But those specific 3 songs just fit in this playlist so well and I just love "Was it a dream?" way too much xD

Nifty is from the 1950s, not the 1850s, to clear up some the false comments, though I doubt "Nifty" is her ACTUAL name, but a mere nickname gifted by Alastor, so it COULD be that he got the name from that song, though it is unlikely for Nifty is called "Nifty" for her cleaning specialties, she keeps the place clean, put together, NIFTY
though I also wouldn't put down this head canon, it's an interesting one to look at and is defiantly much more intriguing than many I've seen on nifty, so I'll be remembering this one, thank you for pointing it out!

@@Coco_1958 Judging from Rosie's attire, the general aesthetic of Cannibal Town (her audition sheet mentions that Cannibal Town "seems locked in the early 1910's"), and the fact her audition sheet talks about her being "the Dolly Levi of Hell" to the point that her audition song is "I Put My Hand In" from Hello, Dolly!, which is notably set in the 1890s, I personally think Rosie's meant to look very generally from the 1890-1914 period, which spans both the very late Victorian era and the whole Edwardian era. but again, that's Viv only using the VERY most general aesthetics and details of the eras these characters come from to give her what she wants in each character, and even that's not being as fully utilized as I personally think it could be-like, to use other examples, Sir Pentious's from 1888 but the only ways you can really tell he MIGHT be from 1888 are his wearing a top hat and being a steampunk inventor, wary of modern technology, and a bit uncomfortable with Angel Dust being as sexually casual as he is, while Valentino being from the 1970s is really only reflected in his closed wings and hat looking like a 1970s pimp suit and his being the porn Overlord because he died when porn films/videos were starting to explode in popularity in the US. I can DEFINITELY tell that neither Viv or anyone else with a lot of say in the IP is really into history as a subject, especially as someone who actually got both an Associates and their Bachelors in History because they've been that into it for most of their life.

The plot is just sex and cussing which is not much entertaining so that’s mainly why I don’t like it but there’s also the aspect on how they treat religion which I don’t like even though I’m not very religious I still don’t like it

Thanks, is there some official source to that information? I wasn't able to find an official date of birth when I was making the video.

from the sources I know, Alastor died in the early 30's and he was 33 years old

    • @artsystuffhere

@@nicholeeriksson7355 I put (1890s/1900s) there because most sources I looked through stated that he died in 1933 but there is no confirmed age. So, if we are going to assume he was in his 30s or early 40s that would put his birth date around that time. I didn't want to just make up some arbitrary number so I put the 1890s/1900s there because it just isn't officially known

Why do I think Al wouldn’t have liked the 1930 version of Puttin’ on the Ritz /: (edit: he probably would have liked the version with revised lyrics from the 1946, but obviously he died before it was released lol)
