I build a blanket house and start watching, now a little more after, me crying over my pillow searching YT videos and find a chapter, and then it was all the seasons, me learning the kind of my feelings? dunno but sure this was of the best things that I remember from the pandemic. I think the finales last couple words hit the hardest, with the lyric - "Happy ever after never came". The best thing to hear after so long is that you became stronger than the problem and I think this one lyric justifies this with the interpretation of we dont always need the best outcome or even a good outcome to become a better, wiser person. Never really liked Steven Universe, my ex liked the show, and whenever I hear the songs I think of how we used to stay up late and watch episodes, how she got me into it. Sometimes when I hear or replay the theme song in my head it feels like taking a breath, it feels like it's just me and the world. And sometimes I'll just lay in bed at 3 am and cry, or just reflect on where I'm at and how I got here. Love is hard, pain is hard. It's all hard man. Wish y'all the best

this is extra emotional when you grew up watching steven universe, just waching little steven grow up year by year while you're growing up too, then after years of fighting the galaxy,pressure, steven finally takes the time to embrace his human side.
So, I didn't really see Steven Universe when it came out (which will forever be one of my biggest regrets), but when I finally watched it in 2021, I immediately understood why it was so widely beloved. It became an escape for me, whenever I wasn't doing great or even when I just wanted to watch something, I turned to Steven Universe. It's become one of the biggest parts of my life and is so, so important to me. Thank you for this playlist, for real.

The hiatuses were horrible, im glad you got to watch it like you did. Sometimes hiatuses that left on cliff hangers would end with a whole batch of giant filler episodes. It was awful.
Whenever I think about this show, I always think about my little brother. They showed me the movie and I really loved it, and so we watched it together. All 6 seasons, and re-watched the movie together. I love him so much, and I miss him every day while I'm here at college. I'm currently re-watching the show, and I keep crying at just the most basic things, and I think it might be because this is the first time I'm watching the show without them. I'm seeing them in a few weeks for spring break, and I hope that we can continue watching together
It also reminds me of my little brother, because he looks a lot like a steven, and he is the same personality wise. It pains me being far away from him since I feel like I am missing so much while he is growing. But at the same time I couldnt stay, I had to do my own life away from my parents. But man I feel like I left him behind, alone, sometimes its a lot of guilt. I miss him so much every day.

Steven Universe changed my life. It was what kicked off more self acceptance for me and made me more open to being vulnerable and honest about my feelings . It modeled healthy (and unhealthy) relationships and started helping those gears in my head turn at such a pivotal time in my life as I entered young adulthood. I'm coming up on a year in therapy for unresolved traumas and dysfunction and I am miles away from the person I was before in a lot of ways. I owe a big part of this to shows like SU and She-ra. It's very validating to see that yes, it's okay for me to exist as I am and yes, feelings are okay.

i started watching steven universe during the start of the pandemic, and i loved it. the show mentally helped me through 2022. i am really grateful that rebecca made this heart warming show. i truly thank you rebecca. thank you for helping me through my life when it was at its very worst.

Well,yes. I believe that was the intention but hidden because..you know. Its a kids show. But the emotion that lovers have on their first time is love,passion,acceptance and ackwardness. That is exactly how Sapphire and Ruby felt the first time they fused! I find this beautiful. I do not know why so many people see the act of two lovers so perverted and sometimes even wrong when its just...love. its acceptance. Even if the show had many issues such as the pacing and the Diamonds turning a 180, the repetitive amount of filler episodes. This show still holds a special place in my heart.

Waaaatch it! Watch it, watch it, watch it! I'm recommending this show to everyone around me, PLEASE watch it, you'll see, it's incredible. It'll relax you after a long day, be the reason why you wake up in the morning, you will feel like you know the characters personally and then you'll cry because you relate to them so much. I hope I didn't scare you off haha, seriously though, try watching season one if you haven't already and trust me when I say that it becomes better and better as you get further and further into it.

@@nataleynakata3687 idk steven changed way too much. There was no hint of him being traumatized by anything happening when he was younger and the show was much simpler too. There wasn’t any lead-up so it just ended up feeling cheap to me that Steven suddenly had all these problems with everything
@@humanbean4037 Personally, I think there was some lead-up, even though it often took me a couple of re-watches and some small comments about the reactions for me to get and understand as "lead-up". And, I'm not gonna open this can of worms, but just point it out: emotional problems w/ everything IRL and in media can take time to react to. Sometimes it's instantaneous and sticks w/ you, sometimes it sticks but you have a delayed emotional reaction to it, but it's pretty superhuman if not rare for someone to have absolutely NO reaction and NO problems w/ everything.
well I see everyone talking about their experience with the U.S. so I decided to tell mine too, (sorry about my English, I don't have English as a native language but I use it the way I know it, sorry), well I'm a straight man, 18 years old, currently, I watched U.S. when I was younger and still suffered a certain amount of prejudice from everyone I knew for watching U.S., but I listen to the music to remind me of that time, even though I was younger. I had a lot more problems, I still watched U.S. to breathe some of the craziness of the days, it was a time where I had worked hard to get my room set up the way I wanted and after a fight with my older brother where I even heard a confrontation physically, him having broken everything here that I fought so hard to build and seeing everything torn apart really gave me irrational despair, but I still managed to finish seeing everything about the U.S. and that's why I'm still grateful that the U.S. exists and for It gave me a breather during these complicated periods in my life, thank you very much

I remember the teary goodbyes and playing Being Human as I drove farther and father away and being in complete tears. The entire way because I left them. I miss them more and more every day. i was fully introduced to SU through 'here comes a thought' popping up in a youtube mix when the episode first released. i loved the ambiance of the song and it helped me calm down in the middle of many panic attacks. now i stumbled upon this mix and the song's in it, a perfect timing situation. i've just had a breakdown after remembering how much i was mistreated by my state's cps as a child following an abuse situation. that tore me up just as much as the actual abuse did. SU gave me self respect back. it gave me peace. and now it grounds me tonight as i move to accept that what happened happened and that my emotions are valid. mindfulness is a powerful thing.
growing up i watched steven universe and now as a 15 year old I still cry and the songs like I used to, the connection to steven universe is so deep and I can re-watch it any time and still feel the connection its an amazing feeling and I'm so glad the fandom is still alive, this was my first fandom before I even knew what a fandom was! i love this show and I'm so glad I got to see it growing up.

Steven universe helped me face chilhood scars that i never was able to close. I always acted on my own, never seeked help from my fathers and did everything myself because they were so protective and careful that i was scared, also i have an older sister that was always so independent and i looked up to be like her. I never asked for help and keep everything for myself.. while watching SU i cried so often because of how everyone helps Steven and are always around him.. I just wanted to smile like him, crying while hugging my mom, afortunately im able to, and i did when i learned that keeping all for myself wasnt healthy, and everyone need helps, specially while being a teenager who is struggling with studies, love, selfsteem, body shame, toxic friendships, hormonal changes, etc etc.

This was one of my favourite shows. I remember those ads in 2013. I watched it immediately. It went from a nice show about a boy and his 3 gem caretakers to what it is today. I still love this show. I HAVE to rewatch it even tho I remember what happens.
honestly, SU didn't change my life, it changed the way i viewed everything. the world changed all around me, everything was beautiful, and so mesmerizing! i wish i went back to being a kid when i first watched it, seeing such cool characters, and an awesome plot. now im heading off to high school, still remembering the show and songs like the back of my hand! this show is awesome and im surprised that people are just now watching it! im glad they are though, newbies to the show are welcomed in any way!!

I'm not sure if anyone else relates, but I remember back in 2014 I began learning how to sing because of Steve Universe, and I still remember struggling to sing the majority of the songs in the show. Now 8 year's later and I'm able to sing all of the songs I had a difficult time with and it feels kind of rewarding in a way, like it's a good reminder of how much I've improved over the years. Also everytime I would sing these beautiful songs I would always remember the scenes and the context behind them giving me a huge hit of nostalgia. Anyways I love this show and it's songs🙂👍

I loved this show in its entirety when I was younger, and though I'm not as into it as I used to, it's still a great memory to have. I can still remember when the finale and movie came out and I was so stupidly hyped. I miss that...
This series has some of the best soundtracks I've ever heard! I think this show hits me so hard because I could relate to Steven at times. I was 14 when I first saw the show....and now here I am 18 years old, thinking about all the memories this show gave me. I am really glad I could grow up with Steven.
I don't know how the hell I forgot about "Here Comes A Thought"!! It always helped me with intrusive thoughts and listening to it again gives me the comfort it gave me the first time I listened to it

As I got older actually I realised the how it taught but healthy and toxic relationships, for ex: Garnet she’s balanced almost 100% of the time because Ruby and sapphire get along so well together and listen to each other and she’s her own person, but with Malacite: Jasper ans Lapis hated each other from the beginning and like taking everything out on each other which is an example of a toxic relationship

The best thing to hear after so long is that you became stronger than the problem and I think this one lyric justifies this with the interpretation of we dont always need the best outcome or even a good outcome to become a better, wiser person. Never really liked Steven Universe, my ex liked the show, and whenever I hear the songs I think of how we used to stay up late and watch episodes, how she got me into it. Sometimes when I hear or replay the theme song in my head it feels like taking a breath, it feels like it's just me and the world. And sometimes I'll just lay in bed at 3 am and cry, or just reflect on where I'm at and how I got here. Love is hard, pain is hard. It's all hard man.

this is extra emotional when you grew up watching steven universe, just waching little steven grow up year by year while you're growing up too, then after years of fighting the galaxy,pressure, steven finally takes the time to embrace his human side.
So, I didn't really see Steven Universe when it came out (which will forever be one of my biggest regrets), but when I finally watched it in 2021, I immediately understood why it was so widely beloved. It became an escape for me, whenever I wasn't doing great or even when I just wanted to watch something, I turned to Steven Universe. It's become one of the biggest parts of my life and is so, so important to me. Thank you for this playlist, for real.

The hiatuses were horrible, im glad you got to watch it like you did. Sometimes hiatuses that left on cliff hangers would end with a whole batch of giant filler episodes. It was awful.
Whenever I think about this show, I always think about my little brother. They showed me the movie and I really loved it, and so we watched it together. All 6 seasons, and re-watched the movie together. I love him so much, and I miss him every day while I'm here at college.
I'm currently re-watching the show, and I keep crying at just the most basic things, and I think it might be because this is the first time I'm watching the show without them. I'm seeing them in a few weeks for spring break, and I hope that we can continue watching together
It also reminds me of my little brother, because he looks a lot like a steven, and he is the same personality wise. It pains me being far away from him since I feel like I am missing so much while he is growing. But at the same time I couldnt stay, I had to do my own life away from my parents. But man I feel like I left him behind, alone, sometimes its a lot of guilt. I miss him so much every day.

Steven Universe changed my life. It was what kicked off more self acceptance for me and made me more open to being vulnerable and honest about my feelings . It modeled healthy (and unhealthy) relationships and started helping those gears in my head turn at such a pivotal time in my life as I entered young adulthood. I'm coming up on a year in therapy for unresolved traumas and dysfunction and I am miles away from the person I was before in a lot of ways. I owe a big part of this to shows like SU and She-ra. It's very validating to see that yes, it's okay for me to exist as I am and yes, feelings are okay.

Well,yes. I believe that was the intention but hidden because..you know. Its a kids show. But the emotion that lovers have on their first time is love,passion,acceptance and ackwardness. That is exactly how Sapphire and Ruby felt the first time they fused! I find this beautiful. I do not know why so many people see the act of two lovers so perverted and sometimes even wrong when its just...love. its acceptance. Embracing each other with all their good and bad parts,their flaws and perfections.

Waaaatch it! Watch it, watch it, watch it! I'm recommending this show to everyone around me, PLEASE watch it, you'll see, it's incredible. It'll relax you after a long day, be the reason why you wake up in the morning, you will feel like you know the characters personally and then you'll cry because you relate to them so much. I hope I didn't scare you off haha, seriously though, try watching season one if you haven't already and trust me when I say that it becomes better and better as you get further and further into it.
Watch it it’s great but season one is a bit chaotic all the others are amazing though
my biggest flex is that i know every lyric in every song and the order of the music in this playlist by heart. I can't name it without listening to the first 3 seconds but i already know the lyrics usually by the first note or two

It's really great to listen to this at night when you're more fragile (as emotional, or at least i have it like this) and hear Garnet say "I'm here" it gives you the comfort that she's there for you

Steven universe was my favorite show growing up, and now i still watch it occasionally and listen to the soundtrack ALOT
It’s my comfort show as well! It faces so many problems that I have had to face on a supernatural level. It is so calming and the soundtrack is literally the best.
This show taught me alot. This show also helped realized not only male and females only fall in love each other, this show basically made me an ally. Hearing all these songs from when I was young is such a nostalgic train ride, so many memories; the hype of the new movie and season, the hype of the crystal gems going the home world, the new fusions. I really have this show a special place in my heart. The music, scenery, characters, etc. They are all special to and to you guys too

@@nataleynakata3687 idk steven changed way too much. There was no hint of him being traumatized by anything happening when he was younger and the show was much simpler too. There wasn’t any lead-up so it just ended up feeling cheap to me that Steven suddenly had all these problems with everything
@@humanbean4037 Personally, I think there was some lead-up, even though it often took me a couple of re-watches and some small comments about the reactions for me to get and understand as "lead-up".
And, I'm not gonna open this can of worms, but just point it out: emotional problems w/ everything IRL and in media can take time to react to. Sometimes it's instantaneous and sticks w/ you, sometimes it sticks but you have a delayed emotional reaction to it, but it's pretty superhuman if not rare for someone to have absolutely NO reaction and NO problems w/ everything.
well I see everyone talking about their experience with the U.S. so I decided to tell mine too, (sorry about my English, I don't have English as a native language but I use it the way I know it, sorry), well I'm a straight man, 18 years old, currently, I watched U.S. when I was younger and still suffered a certain amount of prejudice from everyone I knew for watching U.S., but I listen to the music to remind me of that time, even though I was younger. I had a lot more problems, I still watched U.S. to breathe some of the craziness of the days, it was a time where I had worked hard to get my room set up the way I wanted and after a fight with my older brother where I even heard a confrontation physically, him having broken everything here that I fought so hard to build and seeing everything torn apart really gave me irrational despair, but I still managed to finish seeing everything about the U.S. and that's why I'm still grateful that the U.S. exists and for It gave me a breather during these complicated periods in my life, thank you very much
Im currently a senior in highschool and just started watching steven universe. Ive seen bits and pieces of it along with other cartoon network show episodes and oml im so excited to start. I love the music and all the chsracters especially pearl, steven and garnet😊

Ya know. I moved away from my best friend a little more then a year and a half ago. We watched every episode together. New and old. I remember the teary goodbyes and playing Being Human as I drove farther and father away and being in complete tears. The entire way because I left them. I miss them more and more every day. Thank you for this. I needed it. To feel this way again.

i was fully introduced to SU through 'here comes a thought' popping up in a youtube mix when the episode first released. i loved the ambiance of the song and it helped me calm down in the middle of many panic attacks. now i stumbled upon this mix and the song's in it, a perfect timing situation. i've just had a breakdown after remembering how much i was mistreated by my state's cps as a child following an abuse situation. that tore me up just as much as the actual abuse did. SU gave me self respect back. it gave me peace. and now it grounds me tonight as i move to accept that what happened happened and that my emotions are valid. mindfulness is a powerful thing.

growing up i watched steven universe and now as a 15 year old I still cry and the songs like I used to, the connection to steven universe is so deep and I can re-watch it any time and still feel the connection its an amazing feeling and I'm so glad the fandom is still alive, this was my first fandom before I even knew what a fandom was! i love this show and I'm so glad I got to see it growing up.
My older cousin used to make me watch Steven Universe when she babysat me, and now I respect her so much for that. I just began watching the entire thing recently and I absolutely know at some point I will be crying while watching it 😔❤️

Steven universe helped me face chilhood scars that i never was able to close. I always acted on my own, never seeked help from my fathers and did everything myself because they were so protective and careful that i was scared, also i have an older sister that was always so independent and i looked up to be like her.
I never asked for help and keep everything for myself.. while watching SU i cried so often because of how everyone helps Steven and are always around him.. I just wanted to smile like him, crying while hugging my mom, afortunately im able to, and i did when i learned that keeping all for myself wasnt healthy, and everyone need helps, specially while being a teenager who is struggling with studies, love, selfsteem, body shame, toxic friendships, hormonal changes, etc etc.
Steven universe is something everyone can connect over and that is the beauty of it, sending love ❤️ ❤ ❤

This was one of my favourite shows. I remember those ads in 2013. I watched it immediately. It went from a nice show about a boy and his 3 gem caretakers to what it is today. I still love this show. I HAVE to rewatch it even tho I remember what happens.
honestly, SU didn't change my life, it changed the way i viewed everything. the world changed all around me, everything was beautiful, and so mesmerizing! i wish i went back to being a kid when i first watched it, seeing such cool characters, and an awesome plot. now im heading off to high school, still remembering the show and songs like the back of my hand! this show is awesome and im surprised that people are just now watching it! im glad they are though, newbies to the show are welcomed in any way!!
I have yet to watch this show but "Here Comes A Thought" is such a calming song. It's perfect to meditate to, and I thought that when I first heard a cover of it. This is a great compilation, thank you! ^^

It’s not weird, Steven Universe was an amazing show. I loved it and I will rewatch as many times as I need to be mentally stable.
I'm not sure if anyone else relates, but I remember back in 2014 I began learning how to sing because of Steve Universe, and I still remember struggling to sing the majority of the songs in the show. Now 8 year's later and I'm able to sing all of the songs I had a difficult time with and it feels kind of rewarding in a way, like it's a good reminder of how much I've improved over the years. Also everytime I would sing these beautiful songs I would always remember the scenes and the context behind them giving me a huge hit of nostalgia. Anyways I love this show and it's songs🙂👍

This exactly how I felt watching Steven Universe. Like everyday I lived would be how I spent my life so I should be loving, goofy and enjoy my time with a weird passion for life. Everyone can only meet you at the depth they have met themselves and you get to see them at this exact moment. What you see is repeated but slightly different and you must figure out what to do next lol. 💗💗💗

This series has some of the best soundtracks I've ever heard! I think this show hits me so hard because I could relate to Steven at times. I was 14 when I first saw the show....and now here I am 18 years old, thinking about all the memories this show gave me. I am really glad I could grow up with Steven.

steven universe had and still has an impact on me. it showed me to be comfortable with who I am (non binary). it showed me to love others and be supportive with those that are struggling. and to not be scared to ask for help. the whole show has taught me so many important lessons that I think that everyone should know about.
