Hey , a suggestion, adding timestamps to when you put in commands would be really efficient , just in case someone misses something while skimming thru all that loading
Thanks Man!!! Liked the background music and the instructions apart from the below comment where it fudged a little, probably an update to this video, per my comment, remaining went all smooth and I have a Ubuntu VM ready to use!!! Much Appreciated!!! Keep up the good work
I have a question . When i make the wget sudo apt install ./nomachine_6.9.2_1_amd64.deb i get en erroer : Reading package lists... Error! E: Sub-process Popen returned an error code (2) E: Encountered a section with no Package: header E: Problem with MergeList /root/nomachine_6.9.2_1_amd64.deb E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened. Can you help me ?
In the 11:19 minute where you say "press ESC to exit and type: wq to save", I can change to Yes but I cannot return to the previous screen ... What key combination for that? I tried ESC, SHIFT + ESC but it doesn't come back, I would be very grateful if you could help me ...
Loosing a bit of my enthousiasm. The performance of the remote desktop is sometimes very bad. Don't know if this needs tuning at the virtual machine or maybe setting in nomacine I need to adjust?
not working for me neither with your link not with the newer version root@instance-1:~# sudo apt install ./nomachine_6.11.2_1_amd64.deb Reading package lists... Error! I somehow managed to log in with nomachine. No available sessions at this server. I don't know linux and can't even debug a problem. This video is the best so far since everything went smooth. With other tutorials I can't even launch some commands.
@@TechnoWorldHD I think I know now what might be a problem. After my download failed at the middle so I had to remove the downloaded file and download again(The very last part) I realized that I'm using micro shared CPU so that might be probably lagging and causing failures randomly without me even knowing that something is wrong.
If you mean you have problems with nomachine clien, you can try also the client in mobile, if you have a mobile device try to install there the cliend and add the public ip with your credentials.
Okay! Everything works fine! I did it. What did I change? I was using Machine type f1-micro shared core 1vCPU, 614MB memory. So I'm not sure it was causing problem during linux installation or at launch. I'll switch back to it and will let you know if I can run it! Thank you! I need this for 24/7 browser game. So won't burn my computer. Therefore I want to pay as less as possible. Probably will try even more lightway linux if this fails. At the end you did a grate job! No others guide was working so far.
Thanks, almost completed but I think I am not able to install nomachine.
