can I set up google cloud or oracle cloud free trial with a an Ubuntu VM to run a low cost 24/7 streaming of my old videos to my RUclips channel. In order to prevent a crash, you need to type in this command:
sudo update-alternatives -config x-session-manager
This will bring up a list where you need to select your desktop environment. You want to select /usr/bin/xfce4-session

To find out the username for the VM you created on Google Cloud, follow these steps:
Log in to the Google Cloud Platform Console.
In the Console main menu (the three horizontal lines in the top left corner), navigate to "Compute Engine" and then click on "VM instances".
In the "Name" column, click on the VM name to view its details.
For more detailed instructions, you can refer to the Compute Engine Documentation on viewing the details of a VM.
Additionally, if you need to manage accounts and credentials on Windows VMs, Google Cloud provides a guide on generating credentials where you can set or change passwords for users, or create new users.
