I bought one used for 600 with the rechargeable battery, pole & remotes. No regrets. I do inshore fishing only so I’m never deeper than 6ft. Best investment I’ve made. I’ve spooked a lot of big schools of reds because the current would just push me directly into them. Now, 2 clicks of a button, I’m anchored. Didn’t want to spend the money but it has paid off already

Thanks a lot. Just saved me hundreds of bucks on this system. I wondered ab the current/wind issue. Subbed

Great review Tony i would like to see a review as well on the bow mounted trolling motor for kayaks i know they are a little pricey as well.

I enjoy the ParkNpole. It holds me well enough in our sandy/muddy bottoms and I can pole around looking for tailing reds with it. The Micro anchor is mighty fine though in its own way.

Thank you for your review. Can you imagine to install a light electric trolling motor on the pole to move the motor up and down and hold it to troll. Is this item also applicable for salt water ?

With it being in the front center I would think it would mess with casting or fighting a fish. Unless you have a stand up kayak.

It is easy to maneuver and fish around - and yes it helps to have a stand up kayak.

Just curious..What happens if you get caught on a tree branches and you're in shallow water?

Is there a power pole out there that doesn't pivot around the pole?

Current: main reason I got rid of mine. Nice concept, not useful In many circumstances, and so expensive it didn’t make sense. Also it’s heavy, in chop it feels like it destabilizes my yak, and watch out for low hanging trees!

That last comment broke the deal for me. Thank you for helping me with my decision.
