  • UNBOXING AND INSTALLING POWER POLE MICRO ON GHEENEO SUPER 16
My buddy bought a power pole micro for his gheenoe. We unbox it showing whats included, and we install it step by step showing you the process of mounting, wiring it up, and programing it. This little unit was a breeze to install and looks like it will be a very good product. Check back in a month to see our 30 day review.

Nice install Bill! That is a tricked out gheenoe!! If your guy is looking for a white pole, lmk. I have a white one that is 12’. One end is 8’ and extension is 4’ screw in if extra depth needed.

@@JackedUpFishing I had two of the manual stick anchors using “stay put” mounts/brackets. I sold off the stern one and installed a 10ft talon. I still have the bow one that I don’t see myself using since I have spot lock and now talon in the rear.

seems like it would be in pretty wet conditions most the time did you ever have any issues with it due to water exposure

Honestly it wasn’t used very much, my buddy works too much. Ended up selling the boat. But never gave him any problems.

Thanks for the video, I’m looking to get into a micro skiff up here in Rhode Island and been checking out the Gheenoes. Aside from the wet ride when it picks up, what are some of the “cons” in your opinion. I like the fact that it seems super stable and fast. What’s your top speed with the 40 on it?

It wasn't really much faster if any than the classic with a 25hp. But it was a lot more stable. Cons in my opinion are that you are limited with the width as far as running the main channels and near inlets. But other than that they are fun for sure!

Just watched you fishing with Mike D. going to Sub to your channel . When you pull the stick anchor out and put it back in do you have to recalibrate it .

Awesome thanks for checking out my channel. And no you do not have to recalibrate it. It accounts for the minor differences in thickness of different spikes - only if you change spikes then it will need to be recalibrated.

did you have to buy the pole separately?
