On this video I am doing a walk around of my Gheenoe and going over some of the modifications that I have made. I also install a live well, cup holders and new rear rod holders.
My name is Tony Clark and I am the Gheenoe Guy. My story as the Gheenoe Guy began the beginning of 2020 when I bought a used Gheenoe off of craiglist. If you don’t know what a Gheenoe is the think of a Canoe shaped boat able to get shallow but still has stability. The Gheenoe has allowed me to get shallow in the creeks and catch all kinds of fish. My videos cover all kinds of fishing, hunting, Gheenoe modifications, and even some catch and cook. Remember I’m not a professional heck I’m not even that good maybe sometimes I just get lucky follow me on my adventures and you decide.

That is a 15'4" Highsider. A Gheenoe Classic is 15'6" and is much wider and has a wider transom.

Do you have a video of the way you built your trolling motor bracket on the back
I can do one showing it more in detail. I moved it back to the front. Maneuverability was a problem.

@@ChampionHomestead yeah that is what I thought it just wouldn’t turn good enough. I put it back up front and ended up falling out of the Gheenoe by climbing to the front. I am still working on an answer on what works best. At least for me apparently I am clumsy😂

Hey man I know this is an older vid but wondered what your top speed is fully loaded with two guys? I have the same boat with a 9.9 and currently just under 17mph

Nice boat! I have a 13 I am re-doing. I see you put your seats on wood. How did you connect the wood to the fiberglass? Mine has 4 holes drilled in the bench but there is no way to get in the bench to put a nut or any support. Ideas...or maybe there is a video I missed. THANKS!!
I used stainless steel screws and 5200 to hold the wood. Thanks

Hey I had a question, what is it called the front of the trailer that supports the front of your gheenoe ? I been trying to look online for a soft pad support thing but can’t find anything
Should be called a “Front Bunk”.
Do you know the specific one you have ? I tried looking

I used a GpPro 7 and 9 to film. I then used the Imovie app for editing. Imovie makes it easy. Thanks
What’s the biggest Motor you can put on that boat
The 15’4 Gheenoe is rated for a 10hp
