You really need to add side spin/spin axis comparison as it’s a very, very important feature in indoor golf. The spin axis explains the difference in flight path that you are occasionally seeing.
Great video, thanks. Hope any RUclipsr compare skytrak + with the rest but using club data. Club path , face to path etc. because is the only important change to thinking upgrade old skytrak
Nice video. But as always is missing the comparison in putting between the devices. Which one is more accurate and more suitable for indoor golf simulation “budget” installation ? Thanks
OK.. Home simulator. I'm RH the wife is a lefty. Assuming Mevo would be best choice to maintain set up? Or is SkyTrak easily flipped around shot to shot?
I would use the Mevo Plus for outdoor. The ST+ can only be used on a mat outdoors. So you are limited in that regared. But for indoor I would go ST+/ I was using RCT balls in the video. I always do with the Mevo + and the Garmin R10. It does not matter with the ST+ For outdoor I would lean towards R10 or the new Rapsodo.
They are both so close to be honest its hard to say which one is more accurate against the higher end unit. I think it comes down to features, battery life, and what you are using it for either indoor our outdoor.
Great video! Just subscribed, saw in the comments you have some other comparison videos in the works. My golf cage/net is outside in my backyard, Mevo plus the better buy for my set up? I’m a 30 handicap that’s not really trying to spend much more than $3k to hit a ball consistently straight 😂
Mevo+ is 2k ish. If you want to have a good set up go with the R10 and Awesome Golf. That is 1/3 the price, you can connect to E6 if you want golf course features. If you want a little more accuracy then go with the Mevo+ it is worth the upgrade. But if you are only using in your backyard then save money if you can. The ST+ is awesome, but it is 3k and can play more courses.
Great video! However, I don’t think this is a complete comparison as the Mevo Plus used here does not have the pro package and/or the impact location feature activated. I think including those features will show that it has way more capabilities and may be a better device to improve your game. You also don’t mention it either….
@@GolfersAuthorityYes it is. I have the pro package and impact location and I think it’s a great device to work/improve your game. I have used the impact location to improve my driver swing recently. Beats using foot spray on your clubs.
If you are thinking of buying the new ST+ I would recommend thinking again. I had the original SkyTrak for several years and really enjoyed it. I traded it in for the new ST+ and have been thoroughly disappointed. I literally can't even get mine to work. In USB (direct connection) it drops the connection at random every few minutes. And network mode? I literally cannot get it to register anything on wifi. I've tried connecting to it with a PC, a windows tablet, an android tablet and an android phone with zero success. The fact that you have to connect to the devices internal wifi in order to program your home wifi is an absolutely moronic design decision. It's 2023, by now every engineer should know that the failsafe way to program anything is with a direct connection. The fact that you cannot simply plug in a USB and punch in your SSID, password and encryption protocol is completely asinine. I'm sure IF it worked it would be decent and I was really looking forward to the idea of getting club data without using stickers. Unfortunately, I'll have to consider the flightscope Mevo or possibly the new Uneekor since this ST+ has been a $3000 paperweight and a thorough disappointment.
@@GolfersAuthority Never used the Mevo but real fan for the Original Sky Trak. The fact it doesn't require custom golf balls and you don't need a lot of space makes it perfect for the Average Golfer who doesn't want to spend $5,000 for in Home Golf Simulator.
Not sure where you got those numbers from? Literally every shot, except one, he hits he has a club path that is left and his face is open to path, resulting in a fade. Only one shot had a left club path and the face closed to the path which is showed correctly as a pull draw
@@GolfersAuthority stud…and respect the videos don’t just put themselves together. My setup is outside so I’m wondering is the hardware gonna work cause the ST has much better software than the BLP. Imo.
Very annoyed to discover this new model mere months after buying the original. Their website mentioned nothing of it and I did hours and hours of research.
@@GolfersAuthority I do, but I think its Wifi connectivity could use some work. Seems to lose connection quite a bit. I hope the 5G fixes this. I have reached out to SkyTrak support to see if they will allow be an extension on the 30 day return policy so I can exchange up to this SkyTrak+. All of that club head data would be nice.

Great video really helped see them both in real time!
Would love to see which one is more accurate as measured against the high end launch monitor you have used in a lot of other videos.
Check out todays video 😀
8:58 What’s happening with the Mevo flightpath? 🤔

I shot a video this week with the X3 and the SkyTrak+ stay tuned

Best putting so far hands down is the GolfZon Wave. I am coming out with a video soon, it will blow your mind
If you’re strictly using as an indoor simulator/improve game which one would you take?
I would go with SkyTrak+ if you ware building out a simulator
OK.. Home simulator. I'm RH the wife is a lefty. Assuming Mevo would be best choice to maintain set up? Or is SkyTrak easily flipped around shot to shot?
You can easily flip it around. That is what I would do
was the delay the same??
Just about I would say. Not that bad really
Which would you buy for outdoor? Also can you do this again with Titleist RCT balls? I can send you some

I know you compared between the 2, but have you compared both to a higher end launch monitor to see which one was more accurate?

I feel like these launch monitors need to continue to get cheaper. Especially with the optimization of the subscription plans

Nice video clip and contest.
Thank you. What unit do you like better?
Think if you want just Indoor solution Sky Trak is better option. If Price is your main decision then Mevo Plus might be a better option.

Please take the ST+ to the range. Noone has taken one outside yet.
Did it this week, video coming soon!
Club path 13.5°R and face to path 4.5° closed but it showed a push fade? Doesn’t look very accurate

Check out the Skytrak ST+ - geni.us/SkyTrakPlus
Nobody takes the launch monitor and compare the launch monitor reading to real ball flight. I did, none of them was good enough.
You’re gonna kill you’re simulator the way you swing that club back one handed lol
Lol your probably right 😀
Bro…lots of clicks available just take the thing outside.
Just shot that video yesterday :) Stay tuned
