1. His party’s severely underperforming in the midterms, far below most speculations
2. (Some) Republicans are starting to openly say that it may be time for them to put Trump behind them.
Both are significant and obvious obstacles to his race. I’m confused how you fail to understand that.

While his choices may have not done as well, that won't matter. There have been a few for some time now preferred someone other than Trump, you have to leave your echo chamber to hear them. In the end he will run, he will not have any serious challenge from his own party and ultimately liberals, progressives...whatever they calling themselves this week will be throwing temper tantrums again.
As an independent with no dog in the fight there's no bias viewpoint here. Just call it like I see it and to be honest mush mouth and his flunkies screwed the country up. People are hurting financially and that is the reason the GOP will have an opportunity to put handcuffs on the Biden crime family.

Yes, thank you, young people. And thank you people of all ages...District 3, my district, is huge. Some blue, a lot red, lots of purplish Independents. Right now Adam Frisch, Boebert's opponent, is only 64 votes ahead of her (see why YOUR VOTE COUNTS?) and 95% of the ballots have been counted. I can't stand BoBo. Fingers crossed that she will lose, even if there's a (probable) recount.
Don't forget all the people who believed Bobert when she said elections are rigged. They listened to her and stayed home . Who would've thought "They don't count your vote" would not be a good election strategy for getting people to vote.

You are stuck with laws instead of liberties, leaders instead of representatives, and privileges instead of rights. No matter which one wins, you lose, and no matter what they promise, you pay double for it.
Parties have no constitutional authority to be part of voter registration, nor chose delegates, nor act as intermediaries between levels of government nor enterprises. It's not just a conflict of interest, it's straight up legalized corruption, even if you don't believe as Nancy Pelosi, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump do, that the elections are being rigged by partisan forces for the benefit of foreign interests.

My other favorite Pittsburghese words- yinz (you ones, Pittsburgh y'all) and n'at (and that) To use n'at properly it should be added to the end of every few sentences. A good example: "Yinz going dahntahn after the stillers game, n'at?" (Are you planning on going downtown after the steelers game?)
@@tommyt1971 Can you tell I'm a dialect nerd? 🫢 Though what always gives me away is the grammar! Western PA, Pittsburgh in particular alights the infinitive. Instead of "The dishes need to be washed." it's "The dishes need washed." Need, want, and like are the usual culprits to drop "to be" from.

@@wickjezek5093 I taught in Bedford County PA, I wish English had a plural YOU, whenever I said you, meaning the whole class, and had to sweep my arms outward and definitely not look at one student. I out grew using "younz" and refused to go back to that. Then I moved to Reading,and now people say "yous"

i get so angry when they call fettermen 'mentally defective.' a stroke doesn't always affect your cognitive ability. It can affect your ability to speak, sure, but your mind and stuff is fine. my mom had an aneurysm burst and she sometimes has trouble putting words together, but she's as sharp as always. gods. its infuriating.
Yeah. I don't watch Tucker so I couldn't have said before this how scummy he is but that made me gasp out loud. But the republicans hold a majority in the house now and possibly the senate. It’s called a balance of power. There should never be a one majority rule. That is very dangerous. Its important to have discussions, but when one parties entire platform is "own the libs" they're incentivized to prevent the "libs" from passing anything even if it would help their constituents. The right has no policies right now besides massive tax breaks for the rich. We need ranked choice voting so we can have more than 2 parties because there isn't a decision for anyone at the moment

I'm originally from ATL, so despite the relatively good news of the day, I took the results down there pretty hard and have been in a bad funk since this morning (like Seth, I went to bed early last night 'cause I just couldn't take it). I known its nerve wracking and it always has far reaching implications, especially for minority groups particularly at risk.. but after you cast your vote and encourage and help those around who can vite, theres nothing you can do. Turn it off and don’t check until Thursday morning. There’s no point in making yourself sick over the results and the hysteria in the media, instead use Wednesday to reset so you’re more ready to face the results Thursday.
Unfortunately, the third party candidate split the vote. However, in the runoff it will be Warnock against Walker so the outcome will be decisive.
