She has to understand that even though she's "obsessed" with an expensive design, it won't be everyone's style. That's why most buyers buy houses with neutral interiors, nothing too specific. Buyers can always add to the house later.

I get it she has a ton of ideas to help increase the value of the homes. But she also needs to understand that they have a budget( which they always break) and she always looks for super expensive materials.
And they often aren't really worth it. There are less expensive materials that can still make a statement.
This is one reason not to work with your partner you will end up separating. The stress from work will add in your relationship!!

People can complain about Christina all they want however, at they end of the day her designs sell more houses than not. Folks that are not designers shouldn’t judge her. She has a passion which makes her serious about what she designs. She is no ding-bat. She is as much about her business as Tarak is.

She knows nothing of design, she uses 2 colors white and gray, her back splash choices are ugly, it's always open concept which is ugly
Christina is over-designing at times without particularly doing a good job of problem solving.
I disagree. She is compromising and problem solving and trying to design beautiful homes. She's not throwing money at the homes she's actually designing them to make them stand out and look high end on a budget so they can get top dollar!

Relationship was toxic on camera, imagine off.
I almost never like or agree w her ideas or her taste but this time she is right, that first mistake was horrendous.
Wish they were still together and flipping.
They went through so much together and it seemed like they were able to work it out every time.
Hope they both have found someone this time where their children don’t have to go thru any more divorces

They were still married in this episode. the first part isnt actually part of this episode and it is from a later season. They started with Issy but a few minutes later it was Frank then Jeff. Definitely not pulling everything from the same episode. This is 3 different houses WTF
i’m thinking this was just a compilation of whenever it was ‘christina vs tarek’ and not necessarily pieced together to pass as one episode. eg. all the different times they butted heads (well, the main ones i guess) with one being about backslash, another about staying within budget, and ofc the new boyfriend thing. but yea, you’re right, these snippets are from different episodes and they were still married in 2/3 clips. ngl without christina’s bump, i thought they were divorced by then just because of how they talked to each other.
Big fan of flip or flop hope the show comes back like fixer upper did !

@@b_uppy Tarek is Cheap...Their profit margin is usually in the double digits. I believe Tarek is almost a billionaire. They got there because Christine forced him to do better designed homes, and not the standard flip jobs. She doesn't get the credit she deserves. She takes those homes to the next level.

Tarek isn't cheap so much as frugal. There's a difference. Christina *is* trying to vie for wowing viewers so she goes extravagant. She makes bad choices sometimes as well as Tarek and it's the buyers who have to contend with less-than-functional homes. They've removed laundry rooms, etc because that's what promotes the show.
I suspect many of their buyers are like those that purchase Hitler's art at higher prices. It's the notoriety...
Tarek needs to find a boyfriend too, bet that'll teach her!
