- It's the end of an era! Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack are saying goodbye to 'Flip or Flop' after the final episode of the series aired on Thursday after 10 seasons on HGTV. During the finale, it was revealed that Christina was behind the decision to stop working with her ex-husband.
It was pretty admirable they were able to maintain a professional relationship for as long as they did.

there was a lot of drama off camera tho sometimes even on camera. i definitely give tarek most of the credit. christina is the one who left tarek at his lowest when he had cancer and she's the one choosing not to renew her contract and ending their show
They had a professional business first and foremost. When they were married and interacting they seemed more than business than emotional. I think the fact that they had to work together forced them to put aside their differences and work together which worked for the kids
I just watched final episode. I just wanted to cry. I will really miss this fun show and I looked forward to it every Thursday. I don’t think I missed a show in 10 years. I wish them both every success. Loved them together. ☹️😢
The episode seemed kind of anticlimactic for a final episode. Compare this to the final Fixer Upper episode and it does not seem to provide the best closure. Was more awkward.

I always felt that He never got over Christina. You could tell that he resents her for the divorce. He acts like he’s happy, but there is a underline resentment he carry’s towards her. Love the show wish both of them the best.

Im sad the show ended they were legendary but they said it was too intimate for them so I respect the fact that they were careful to let go and move on I wish them both well and for being open and honest and sharing with the fans why the decision was made bravo to both of you keep yall heads up

He does. I've viewed this 4 x now and when Tarek is talking about he and Heather, their 2 years together, there is something in his voice if you listen carefully. I think Tarek will really miss Christina. I didnt care for her personality but she's soooo beautiful and it was just fun watching her. Im sure if she cud get out of the way of herself, she wud be a fun girlfriend. Sad the show is done.
Oh nooooooo! I hate to see this show end. Call me a romantic, but I was secretly hoping they would get back together. Anyway, kudos to them both for maintaining a working relationship and good co-parenting. I hope their separate shows will continue.

It's an end of an era they had one hell of a run they were a great tag team when they were working together and as a team but now that they live separate lives they can find new adventures to do and figure out what's best for them and their kids I wish them nothing but the best of luck

Tarek couldn't hide the gut punch these words gave him. No matter who Tarek marries...he will always love Christina more. He married the Christina lookalike because Christina doesn't want him back. He was so happy her second marriage failed because that brit was fine. This show allowed him to still be around her. The outburst when he went off on Christina showed that. Whenever a boy liked you In primary school...he would torture you. I kind of feel sad for him because he looked heartbroken when she made that announcement. I think he didn't freak out because his wife was right there. I'll miss the show too Tarek 😪

Yes you can tell who's got the worst out of this situation, it looks as if she didn't even care, and to him it was devastating, he shows it on some of the episodes after they split up, you can see it in his face that he kinda never got over it, while she was already dating some other dude.

For all this couple went through, I certainly wished they were able to heal, and work out their marriage. It feels like "something is missing" every time they "move on".

@@deliamcmahon4603 Tarek and Christina married in 2009, had their daughter Taylor in September 2010, Tarek had throat cancer ♋️ Christina had reproductive issues and had to use IVF to get pregnant 🤰. When she got pregnant 🤰 with their son Brayden she couldn’t carry anything heavier than a jug of milk 🥛. He was born in August of 2015. Basically there was a lot of stress in their marriage and I don’t think 🤔 either one ☝️ of them handled it very well and they drifted apart and they separated in 2016 and Tarek filed for a divorce In 2017 and the divorce was finalized in January 2018.

I'm really going to miss their show and both of them. This show is one of my favorite shows. I've been crying since last night because the final episode was last night. I wish they didn't quit the show. 😭😭.

As much as I love the show I can respect the fact that they’ve been separated since 2017 yet have been working together for so long after. They each have separate lives now but are both involved with their kids and that’s what’s important. Not like they can’t each have and continue their own shows on the program just won’t be together. The best flippers ever. They certainly had something special. Great watching every episode and also getting to meet, what became out favourite contractors also. What can you say, sad to see a special relationship come to an end. Wish the two of them, their partners and families all the best
Christina brings new meaning to moving on…. wishing her and hubby #3 a long marriage maybe 3rd times a charm! Continuing to wish her kids happy and mentally healthy lives, I’m sure all the changes between families can be tough at times.

Sadly? Why does it have to be a sad thing? Why can't it be a good thing? As long as co-parenting can be done AMICABLY, everyone is happy
It's because people jump too quickly into relationships with the wrong people and then end up realizing they don't actually love those people, or the person is abusive, and so the only good option is to divorce, because if you stay in that relationship your mental health is going to go downhill quickly and you could end up lashing out at the person you're stuck with. It's much healthier to get a divorce then stay in those scenarios.
@@tiffanymorgan6562 You REALLY think children are "happy" to have to constantly shlep between houses? Divorce is incredibly hard on children, and having to constantly go back and forth between houses is a lack of stability. This is not a good outcome for children!

I remember pictures of Tarek holding Christina, so tenderly, like he was making her feel safe. Come to think of it, I don't think Tarek looks at Heather the way he looked at Christina. God bless.
Yes, they were special together and hard to find "new" person, especially for a woman in today's world. Hard for smart, strong woman to find man at same level. May look nice on outside, but don't have substance inside to keep up.

I must say that I've watched this couple for many years and have seen their ups and downs. I was sad to hear that they separated but was happy that they continued to be great co parents and partners in business. I was also happy when they moved on with their lives but was shocked that Christina and Ant divorced (I dont know why...maybe I just want everyone to be HAPPY) and I was sad for him when things didnt last for them. All 3 of them moved on (-1 with the shaming) but I hope that they ALL be HAPPY together as they are now really a truly blended family and only hope to see and hear WONDERFUL things about them in the future. I surely do LOVE their show Flip or Flop but with time and changes we ALL must move on. Good Luck and God Speed. Amen!
We don't know the whole story and it's theirs anyway. I pray all can move on and have better and stable relationships. Start with a relationship with God. He is the answer and the way to love and happiness.
If you watched final season, you can tell they had that old feeling back. Laughing, complimenting each other, lol flirtin' and all dat. I think they started feeling something different and it showed to their respective partners. The reason they gave was that they were working together too intimately?? What does that really mean? We know. You can see how she would look at him and vice versa. They got into a good grove, maybe even too good and ultimately just had to cut it short as to avoid other complications elsewhere. Wish them all the best.

This show is/was their "bread and butter", and you DON'T leave that, especially after Christina's next ex-husband dumps her.
What's going to happen to their primary contractor, Jeffrey(Izzy is with "COTC".)?
There's NO logical reason why Tarek can't continue the show without her.
He's developed a pretty good sense of design, or he can hire a new designer.
Again, why should he cut off a revenue stream just because she's leaving?
Yes, "Flip or Flop" is the best design show. Mystery why Christina would leave a winner? Hope Tarek keeps it going, and just finds a new, fun designer to work with regulars.

What's going to happen is Tarek is going to bring Heather into the fold and they will be flipping houses together or in the least she will be his designer. The writing is on the wall, he already brings her and asks her opinion on certain jobs. It was way past time for them to go their separate ways.

I was sick of Christina's constant disrespect of Tarek years ago, even if she was right about 98% of the design decisions.
He already has his own show, she also has one, hers I guess will be back this Fall, his early next year. As far as "revenue stream," I'm pretty sure Tarek actually owns a friggin yacht right now, and they made a stinking *fortune* off their flips...with barely any flops that are known of.

So sad that they lost each other, and the family unit broke down. really the target of spiritual warfare that reigned and had dominion during the whole 10 yrs where fame & prosperity in material terms took the lead, the control , the false God that was in disguise. from my point of view, Wish them God's blessing in their new phase in their respective lives now.

I will miss the show, it was my favorite. I will watch any other show with Christina but not Tarek. He has turned into an annoying jerk . I do not like how the show in later years made it look like he did most of the work. Never believed that and she was aware of this and decided enough is enough. She is a very talented designer.

For a moment I really thought somehow , these two would really get back together. Christiania has a great eye! and Tarek sound wisdom when approaching a flip. I would have to say Brother vs Brother was my 1st favorite, Then Flip and Flop , then later Fixer Upper with the Gains. Lastly Love it or List it (the 1st ones) I hope someone else comes along with their chemistry because I enjoyed them over the years.

I think it’s wise for them to end their house flipping business. It was very mature of them to work together after their divorce, despite it being so public and messy. Also the fact that Tarek divorced her. Let’s hope Tarek doesn’t divorce his current wife when life becomes challenging 😥 between them.

Tarek seem he was caught off guard she could have had a discussion off camera first. It was kinda tacky.
I think she was so ready to get it over with that she just said what she needed to say. He was his most obnoxious on this final show and I think he could no longer hold in his hostility towards her and the jealousy he had for her. So tense that his jaw was a tight as a drum whenever we saw him interact with her. I think she had as much as she could take. She was quick-witted and creative and he was just nuts and bolts buy-em, fix-em up and sell for a profit. Were it not for her charisma this show would have died on the vine or stayed at the bottom of the ratings forever. She brought that "je ne sais quoi" to the show he owes its success to her. Look back at their first shows and you will see how she just jumped out of the screen and he was a dullard who recited his scripted lines without any real charm or personality. Glad that they can now move forward and do things on their own. Honestly, his show "Flipping 101" is so boring and he is so without charm, that I'm amazed they keep it on. Guess they figure they can sort of mold him, but I doubt that he is moldable. Good thing, though, about Tarek is that he seems to be a good Dad who really loves his kids. Hope Heather and he have a good marriage. Same for Christina and Josh.

The outcome of their professional projects showcased their talents however watching the tension between them was hard to watch. Often times it seemed they hated one another. It's best they stop filming together.

@@saramcdonalds427 I think he does still have a lot of anger and pain over her cheating with the pool guy. When he went off on her, it was because he needed to get it all out of his system. I think he will always love her and want her back even tho she's done all this. She on the other hand, doesn't want to be with him. Sad.

They're featured in selling sunset n he's the perfect husband. Caring n protective. Christina n him acted like friends. If people didn't know they were married no one would think they were. She's cold n condescending. Heather brings out the best in him.

There was an episode with him and Christina playing rock paper scissors.. he's a man in love with Christina. It's unfortunate he lost his dream girl and has to see her with someone else. That's why he's always so update with her. It's unfortunate, he has to be unhappy, but sometimes you only realize what you have until it's gone.
