My grandmother, born in 1888, told me that on her wedding night, she was a virgjn. Moreover, even after they had been married over 20 years, with two teenage children, her husband had still never seen her fully undressed. How times have changed but they seemed to have a very happy marriage.

I also was raised to save myself for marriage. I was raped by my fiance when I was 19 and it turned my world upside down. I became promiscuous and then in my mid-30's I met a man who was a new Christian and he felt that the Lord did not want us to be involved sexually prior to marriage. By that time I felt the same way. It is very hard to maintain that if you both are not determined to be abstinent. I commend you. I worked for us. I believe you can't hear the Lord if you are knowingly violating his will.
