HVAC tech here, just picked these up last week, works great on return air vents, evaporator coils, and picking up dust off the insulation inside package units 💪🏻

I only tried it on three small vents to to get footage before coming home and I was pretty impressed.
Who new vacuum attachments would interest me 😂
Thanks for sharing! Helps me and others.

The first one would be great for vacuuming cars and trucks.

Yeah I think so too, being able to switch back and forth is nice. They also have a crevice tool that does the same thing.
      Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Great video Morgan! I use the air tip collection daily on refrigerator compressors, ac coils, mini splits, etc. My favorite so far is the Milwaukee dust collector. Works amazing for sheet rock patches to collect all the dust and debris. I work in Maintenance and having a variety of these attachments come in very handy for all the different jobs we see on a day to day basis!

Thanks, you know you have a bad tool problem when vacuum attachment excite you 😂
I’m looking at the dust collector too. I have a thing called “Xtra Hand” that works good for single holes and with the M18 Vacuum.
Does the dust collector hold to the wall well with a cordless vacuum? It looked pretty big so I wasn’t sure if you needed a bigger vacuum to keep it on the wall.

@@MORGANSMaintenance Lol I do have a tool problem and a great problem to have 😀! The dust collector works fairly well when using the m18 packout vacuum. The texture on the wall plays a big role on how it seals. If I’m at a property with a “heavier” textured wall I use my 6 gallon Milwaukee shop vac to get a much tighter seal but on smooth finish walls the m18 pack out works.

First brush looks interesting. The other one reminds me of famous Milwaukee first versions of tools - better wait for Mk II.

You are very right on Milwaukee Gen 1 tools it’s hit & miss… Gen 2 is almost always pretty amazing.
Brad Nailer is the perfect example. First one jammed and wasn’t consistent. The Gen 2 is the best brad nailer I have ever used. I even prefer it to my air gun.
The stuff the 2nd one didn’t pick up was “little heavies” I just grabbed a handful of stuff out of my vacuum. I think it will do well on finer dust, but the brush holds it too far off for heavier stuff.

Hi Morgan, I’ve been using the cross brush on my CNC router table, the bristles get down into the tracks and are able to get the sawdust out of there. Last week after your video on the flexible hose set, I went and picked a set up at the local Home Depot. I plan on using it to clean the bottom of the refrigerator as well as other tight spots. I also have the 3n1 brush that has soft bristles on 1 side and stiff on the other. It’s a pretty good design. It would be cool if there was some kind of a holder to attach to the vacuum to hold these brushes. Great review 👍🏻

      @MORGANSMaintenance  2 года назад +1

Yeah the cross brush works great on dust, it was little heavy stuff it was having trouble with in the video, but that’s not normally what you use a brush for. (I just grabbed a handful of stuff out of the vacuum)
I know I’m going to get the flexible crevice tool… not sure what else next.
I’m sure the 3D printing folks are already working on the holder.
Great to hear from you! Editing another video now to maybe put out tonight or tomorrow, trying something new. (Not really new…different)

This would make cleaning registers much easier. Have you seen anything for sprinkler heads? I use a plastic cup I adapted to a hose but it's not as thorough as I'd like.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance

I haven’t seen anything… I haven’t cleaned any before either, I stay as far away from those as possible 😂
Although sprinklers going off in a job site are great stories after they are cleaned up.

@@MORGANSMaintenance yeah, I've been up until 2:00 am vacuuming water from under the beds of sleeping residents of a nursing home when a sprinkler pipe burst. It's not fun!
On one hand we're not allowed to touch the heads, but we're also not allowed to let dust build up. My cup is a homemade version of something you can buy. I never touch the glass but enough air blows by to suck most of the dust off. As long as I stay on top of it, it works well. Sadly not all who came before me did this...
